American soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter near al-Hadithah Thurrsday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:51pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the nearby al-Haqlaniyah area on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was moving through the middle of al-Haqlaniyah when one of the Americans was struck in the head and instantly killed by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet.
Afterwards, US troops carried out raids and searches in various neighborhoods of the town, looking for the sharpshooter. They found no sign of him.
Residents of al-Hadithah still banned from using their cars, one month after American prohibition of motor vehicles in the city.
In a dispatch posted at 5:58pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the ban on car traffic that the American occupation forces in al-Hadithah had imposed more than a month earlier still remained in force in the city, 236km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that problems and difficulties had mounted after weeks of the ban on motor transport, since cars are used for getting to work and for carrying out many jobs and are in fact a daily necessity in virtually any place on earth.
The correspondent reported local residents as saying that the result has been a huge shortage of many basic vital necessities since no one is allowed to make deliveries or go to buy basic goods with motor vehicles. The elderly and those who are ill have been particularly hard hit.
The correspondent reported that the Americans had agreed to allow farm vehicles like tractors to move through the city, but US forces used loudspeakers to tell city residents that cars, particularly the Opel cars, were still not allowed on the roads. The Americans have explained their ban on car traffic by saying that Resistance fighters frequently use Opels and other common cars in Resistance attacks on them.
Al-Bagdhadi.
Resistance bomb blows US Humvee apart in al-Baghdadi midday Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of al-Baghdadi, about 200km northwest of Baghdad, at midday Thursday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road near the al-Khadra’ Hotel in the middle of al-Baghdadi went off by a US patrol, completely destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding all the Americans who were aboard it.
The witnesses said that the powerful explosion blew parts of the Humvee over a large area far from the road. US troops then surrounded the area and began raiding and searching nearby homes in search of the Resistance fighters who had planted the bomb.

US tanks bulldozers crush parked cars, dig up streets and sidewalks in area where Resistance bomb blasted puppet police in Hit, in line with new American policy.
In a dispatch posted at 5:41pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a patrol of Iraqi puppet policemen with hand grenades in the middle of Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a group of Resistance fighters armed with hand grenades attacked a patrol of puppet policemen in the middle of Hit, completely destroying a patrol vehicle and killing all the puppet policemen aboard.
The witnesses said that US occupation troops came along with their tanks and bulldozers and crushed a number of private cars that had been parked on both sides of the street. They also destroyed large areas of the pavement and streets inside the city under a new policy that they have adopted in response to Resistance attacks.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee in eastern ar-Ramadi Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:25pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the as-Sufiyah area of eastern ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad at about 7am local time Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the road, totally destroyed an American Humvee, killing or wounding all the soldiers aboard.
US forces seal off Kilo 5 area west of ar-Ramadi, launch campaign of raids, searches.
In a dispatch posted at 5:25pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported local witnesses as saying that US troops had launched a campaign of raids and searches in the Kilo 5 area to the west of ar-Ramadi at dawn Thursday. They were looking for Resistnace fighters or “gunmen” as they referred to them.
The witnesses reported that the Americans declared a curfew in several neighborhoods around the Kilo 5 area, using loudspeakers to demand that local residents stay inside their houses and not approach windows or go up on their roofs until further notice.
At the time of reporting, the curfew was still in force in the area, witnesses reported, adding that they had no information as to whether the Americans had actually arrested anyone or not.
Resistance ambushes puppet “al-Anbar Salvation Council” puppet police in ar-Ramadi Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:06pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed puppet policemen belonging to the so-called “al-Anbar Salvation Council” in western ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a detachment of Resistance men armed with rocket-propelled grenades attacked a patrol of the “Salvation Council” puppet police on as-Siramik Road in ar-Ramadi.
The witnesses reported that the attack left one puppet police vehicle totally destroyed and all those aboard dead or wounded.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance targets US troops in al-Fallujah area with bombs, mortars Wednesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military force in the northeastern al-Fallujah area, about 60km west of Baghdad. In addition, the Iraqi Resistance blasted the US headquarters at a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up by a patrol of several US Humvees as it passed near the hospital in the town of al-Karmah, about 15km northeast of al-Fallujah, at about 7pm local time Wednesday night. The American column was on its way into the US base located nearby.
The source reported that the blast disabled one of the patrol vehicles, but declined to reveal whether there had been any casualties in the attack. He added, however, that Resistance fighters also attacked that same American column with rockets and light and medium machine guns sparking a battle that lasted for about half an hour.
The source added that the Iraqi Resistance also fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US checkpoint at as-Sajar at the northern end of the city of al-Fallujah at 9pm local time Wednesday night. The barrage set off a huge explosion inside the American facility but no information was available on the nature or extent of US casualties, as the Americans do not allow anyone near the facilities they occupy.

Outraged Shi‘i father kills son who joined Jaysh al-Mahdi, robbed and murdered Sunnis.
In a dispatch posted at 5:01pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an outraged father had shot and killed his son, who had joined the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i-sectarian militia and taken part in sectarian attacks on Baghdad Sunnis.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses on Baghdad’s Palestine Street as saying that ‘Ali Hasan al-Kannani, a resident of the area, heard from his friends that his son had joined the Jaysh al-Mahdi sectarian militia and had taken part in burning down the Sunni al-‘Asharah al-Mubashsharin Mosque in the al-‘Amil neighborhood and played a big role in terrorizing Sunni families out of their homes. Witnesses said that after hearing of his son’s sectarian rampages, ‘Ali al-Kannani threatened to kill him.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that when the son showed up at his father’s house with a car full of furniture and money that he had looted from the homes of Sunnis he had terrorized and killed, ‘Ali al-Kannani shot and killed his son in the yard of his home.
Eight US troops reported killed in Resistance attacks in Baghdad Thursday; US admits one fatality, as Resistance continues campaigns in occupied Iraqi capital.
In a dispatch posted at 5:01pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eight US troops were killed in Baghdad on Thursday, although in keeping with the standard American policy of secrecy, the US occupation authorities only admitted the death of one.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb went off on al-Mudif Street in western Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district, killing two US troops and wounding two more of them.
A second Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in Baghdad’s al-Ghazaliyah district Thursday morning, killing one American soldier and wounding three more.
An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the al-Mahdiyah area of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Thursday.
The explosion of an Iraqi Resistance bomb by another American patrol in the at-Tu‘mah area of ad-Durah left three American troops dead and one wounded.
An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier opposite the al-Bayda’ Cinema in the Baghdad al-Jadidah area. After that attack, US troops launched a campaign of mass arrests, rounding up more than 40 local residents.
A car bomb exploded in the Madinat Saddam district of Baghdad ミ an area nicknamed Madinat as-Sadr since the US occupation of Iraq. The blast in the predominantly Shi‘i area left 11 people dead or wounded, including four members of a bomb disposal squad including an officer in the puppet forces with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired a rocket barrage at the office of the movement of the pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian cleric Muqtada as-Sadr in Baghdad, killing or wounding more than 20. Although the US-installed Shi‘i sectarian Iraqi regime claimed that those killed in the attack on the militia headquarters were civilians, witnesses reported that all the bodies extracted from the rubble wore side-arms or carried pouches of ammunition.
Iraqi Resistance fighters bombarded the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi camp in the al-Qa‘qa‘ Compound to the south of Baghdad, killing 17 of the Shi ‘ sectarian gunmen, including a high ranking commander for the Baghdad area, according to a medical source who spoke to Mafkarat al-Islam but asked to remain anonymous.
The Iraqi Resistance planted a bomb at the door of the home of Husayn al-Husayni a commander in the pro-American Badr Brigades and a judge in the ar-Rusafah district puppet courts. When al-Husayni opened the door to his house on Palestine Street on his way to work Thursday morning, the bomb exploded, killing him and his driver instantly.
Iraqi Resistance marksmen shot and killed four puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the as-Safinah area of Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district on Thursday according to an official source in the puppet regime.
The bodies of 10 Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militiamen were found shot execution-style in southern Baghdad on Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
Pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen fired a mortar barrage at the homes of Palestinians living in eastern Baghdad’s al-Baladiyat district, killing five Palestinian civilians on Thursday.
Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen fired 10 mortar rounds into the al-Janibayn area of the al-‘Amil neighborhood in Baghdad killing or wounding 12 Sunnis, most of them women and children.
US occupation troops carried out feverish raids and mass arrests in western Baghdad’s ar-Risalah district, arresting 70 local residents, most of them Sunnis. In the districts of al-Ghazaliyah and al-Janinah, the Americans abducted 52 local residents, 19 of whom they later released.
Thirty Sunni shopkeepers from automotive stores abducted by Shi‘i sectarian gunmen wearing puppet police uniforms in Baghdad late Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:06pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier armed men dressed as Iraqi puppet policemen and driving puppet police vehicles abducted more than 30 Sunni Iraqi shopkeepers from the middle of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that about 50 armed men wearing puppet police uniforms and driving more than 20 puppet police vehicles abducted a large number of Sunni shopkeepers from the as-Sanak and al-Khallani areas of Baghdad ミ districts known for sales of car parts, car paint, and other automotive accessories. The abduction took place just before noon Thursday local time.
The eyewitnesses said that all those abducted were Sunnis, and that they numbered about 30 individuals. They were taken off to an unknown destination.
The Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, the supreme Sunni religious authority in the country, said that the kidnappers in puppet police uniforms used shopkeepers’ ID cards to identify Sunnis and abduct them on the basis of religious affiliation.
Eyewitnesses said that the abductors must have been members of the pro-Iranian Shi ‘ sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi or Badr Brigade militias because the only groups that could get away with carrying out so large-scale an operation using puppet police uniforms and vehicles in broad daylight and in front of the puppet troops and security people would be those two militias. Members of the Badr Brigades and Jaysh al-Mahdi make up the backbone of the US- installed puppet army and security forces in occupied Iraq.
The Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia is run by Muqtada as-Sadr, a Shi‘i cleric loyal to Iran, which is seeking to extend its regional hegemony and step into the shoes of the American occupation in Iraq.
Several hours after the abduction various sources claimed that most of those kidnapped had been freed.
Resistance sharpshooter kills puppet “Iraqi National Guard” on Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet “National Guardsman in western Baghdad on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter shot and killed a puppet “Iraqi National Guardsman” at a checkpoint at the entrance to the ad-Dakhiliyah neighborhood in the al-Yarmuk district of Baghdad. The bullet struck the puppet “Guardsman” directly in the head, killing him instantly.
After the attack, the puppet forces began to raid and search nearby houses looking for the sharpshooter but found nothing.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet “Order Protection Force” patrol in Baghdad’s al-Mansur area Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:05pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet security force patrol in western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway leading to the bridge along Embassy Row in the al-Mansur neighborhood went off after non on Wednesday when an Iraqi puppet “Order Protection Force” patrol was driving past. The blast completely destroyed a Chevrolet pickup, wounding all aboard. Witnesses confirmed that at least five of them were killed or wounded in the blast.
Two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” shot by Resistance marksman in Baghdad Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:58pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” on Wednesday, prompting the puppet forces to close down the checkpoint that they were manning.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter killed the two Iraqi puppet “National Guards” in the al-Jami‘ah neighborhood of western Baghdad. Both puppet “Guards” were struck directly in the head, killing them instantly. After the attack the Iraqi puppet “Guards” closed down the checkpoint.

US soldier reported killed in Resistance grenade attack in al-Mushahadah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:01pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fighter lobbed a hand grenade at a US patrol in the Mahallat ash-Shaykh area of al-Mushahadah, about 25km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that one American soldier was killed and four more of them wounded in the attack.

Ba‘qubah.
Puppet forces, US troops carry out raids, searches, arrests in Ba‘qubah at dawn Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:21pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet army troops backed up by US occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and searches in several districts of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad at dawn on Thursday.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a joint force of Iraqi puppet troops and US occupation soldiers carried out the raids in the northern an southern parts of the city, searching for “wanted men” and “suspects” ミ meaning Iraqi Resistance fighters.
The source said that 13 people were arrested in the raids and taken to an Iraqi puppet army base for interrogation. Eyewitnesses said that those arrested had nothing to do with armed operations.
Babil Province.
Al-Hillah.
Resistance bomb blasts US military vehicle south of al-Hillah Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted about 12km south of al-Hillah near Babil University by the side of the road from al-Hillah to an-Najaf. The device exploded by a US patrol. The puppet police source would give no details regarding US casualties.
Eyewitnesses in the area, however, told Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast heavily damaged a Humvee. The Americans brought in a US Army ambulance tot tend to three American casualties, but the witnesses were unsure as to whether they were dead or alive.
Afterwards, US forces closed off the area and fired indiscriminately in every direction to keep anyone from approaching the scene.

Resistance bomb explodes killing bomb disposal expert in Kirkuk Wednesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 1:12pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded, killing an Iraqi puppet police bomb disposal expert who was trying to disarm the device in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Wednesday night. Three other puppet policemen were wounded in the explosion.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a puppet police patrol found a bomb planted by the side of the main road in front of the Technical Institute in the southern part of Kirkuk.
The puppet police called in a bomb disposal unit to disarm the device, but it exploded when the team was working on it.

Resistance bomb blasts British tank in al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 9:15pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a British tank as it drove through the al-‘Abbasiyah area of central al-Basrah on Thursday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the tank was heavily damaged when the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the road exploded. The blast disabled the tank. No precise information on the nature or extent of British casualties was available because the British immediately closed off the area and prevented anyone from approaching.
Mafkarat al-Islam noted that Resistance operations against British forces in southern Iraq have escalated in the last three months of this year. Hardly a day goes by, the correspondent wrote, without the sound of mortar shells or Katyusha rockets blasting into British targets.
For the first time reconnaissance balloons were seen floating above British military positions in the middle of al-Basrah to watch for the recurrent Resistance bombardments.
