Resistance bomb destroys US military vehicle in eastern ar-Ramadi Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the as-Sufiyah district of eastern ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad at midday Wednesday.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road went off as a US patrol was driving past at noon. The blast totally destroyed a US Humvee, killing or wounding all aboard.
Afterwards, American troops carried out a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests in houses located nearby, but found no sign of the Resistance fighters who carried out the attack.
Al-Fallujah.
Iraqi puppet army soldier kills child at checkpoint in southern al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi puppet army soldier who was manning a checkpoint together with US occupation troops in the an-Nu‘aymiyah area of southern al-Fallujah opened fire at crowds of people backed up at the checkpoint waiting to get through. He was apparently trying to prevent a group from coming together by firing so as to break them up.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that it was the US and Iraqi puppet troops in the checkpoint who caused the angry crowds to start to form, since it was they who were greatly delaying traffic and complicating the process of entering the city.
The puppet army soldier’s gunfire struck a child who was with her family waiting at the checkpoint. Badly wounded, the boy died a short while later in al-Fallujah General Hospital.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Resistance blasts US al-Habbaniyah airbase with heavy mortars at dawn Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:31pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds into the US Airbase in al-Habbaniyah, about 70km west of Baghdad at dawn on Wednesday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses living in the area of al-Jaffah and members of the al-Bu ‘Isa and al-Fallahat tribes as saying that heavy 120mm mortar rounds blasted into the US base setting off secondary explosions inside the facility.
Clouds of smoke enveloped the base after the American attack and US helicopters flew in over the facility firing flares in an attempt to find the source of the incoming mortars. The US aircraft continued to hover around the facility for several hours until 8:30am local time unable to find any sign of the Resistance men.
Al-Hadithah.
Resistance bomb kills Iraqi puppet “National Guard” troops near al-Hadithah Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:26pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of US and Iraqi puppet army forces near the city of al-Hadithah, about 236km northwest of Baghdad on Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying tat the blast completely destroyed a pickup belonging to the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” and killing two Iraqi puppet “Guards.” Three more of the guards were wounded in the attack. No casualties among the Americans were confirmed.

Resistance fighters attack US headquarters in Hit Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12:16pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a US military headquarters in Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad on Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men fired two rocket-propelled grenades from “Old Hit” at the headquarters on the inside of the Hit city bridge on Tuesday afternoon. No information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

Resistance fighters ambush puppet “Shock Troops” in northern Baghdad suburb Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 6:42pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the Sab‘ al-Bur area, a northern suburb of Baghdad on Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a detachment of about 15 Resistance men carried out a fierce armed attack using rockets and light and medium machine guns on a puppet “Shock Troop” patrol in the area. The attack sparked a fierce battle in which two four-wheel-drive cars belonging to the puppet “Shock Troops” were destroyed and more than 10 puppet “Shock Troops” were killed or wounded. The witnesses said that Resistance losses were slight, two of the fighters being wounded during the battle.
Resistance forces shell pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi camp in northern Baghdad suburb.
In a dispatch posted at 6:12pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militia in the Sab‘ al-Bur area, a northern suburb of Baghdad Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the shells scored direct hits on the Jaysh al-Mahdi camp, inflicting heavy destruction and killing or wounding about 10 of the sectarian gunmen.
Car bomb explodes near mosque in Baghdad’s al-Kamaliyah area Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:49am GMT time Wednesday, Quds Press reported that a car bomb exploded near a mosque in the al-Kamaliyah area of eastern Baghdad on Wednesday morning.
Quds Press reported a source ion the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” as saying that the blast came from an explosives-packed car that had been parked near a bus stop in al-Kamaliyah, an area next to the Baghdad district known as Madinat Saddam and nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the US invasion.
The puppet “Interior Ministry” source said that 10 people were killed and about 26 wounded in the blast, some of them very severely.

Resistance bombards US base at dawn Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:59pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds and two Katyusha rockets into the American-occupied al-Bakr Air Base, dubbed Camp Anaconda by the US forces, located about 70km north of Baghdad, at dawn on Wednesday.
The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortars and rockets scored direct hits on the base, setting off powerful explosions and sending smoke filling the air. Afterwards, swarms of US helicopters were seen hovering in the area overhead.
Bayji.
Iraqi puppet forces backed up by US troops launch house-to-house raids, searches in as-Siniyah early Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet army and police personnel backed up by US occupation forces began a campaign of raids and searches in the besieged town of as-Siniyah, near Bayji, on Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that Iraqi puppet army forces and a detachment of puppet Emergency police with direct back up from US military forces launched the campaign that is to search every house in as-Siniyah.
The oil refinery area of as-Siniyah has been sealed off from the outside world by US forces for 15 days. The aim of the sweep launched early Wednesday is to find “wanted” Resistance fighters and weapons, large quantities of which the Americans claim are present in the town.
As of the time of reporting no one had been arrested, but the campaign was expected to last for 24 hours.
Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing near Bayji Tuesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 12:42pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on a road leading to Bayji, about 200km north of Baghdad on Tuesday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb completely destroyed a US troop transport, killing or wounding all the soldiers aboard. Confirmed reports indicated that three Americans were killed in the blast and at least five others wounded. The US forces were compelled to call in Medevac helicopters to take away the casualties.

US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter in ad-Dujayl after noon on Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in ad-Dujayl, about 55km north of Baghdad on Tuesday.
The ad-Dujayl correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was walking through the city after noon on Tuesday when one of the Americans was struck in the head and killed instantly by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet. The attack caused panic among the surviving US troops in the patrol, which was proceeding with air cover.

US troops raid home of tribal shaykh near Samarra’, arrest his three children.
In a dispatch posted at 12:26pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces raided a home of a tribal shaykh in the city of Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad late on Tuesday night and arrested three of the Shaykh’s children.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that US troops raided the home of Shaykh Hamid al-Hanini in tha l-Hawish area, 4km northwest of Samarra’ at midnight. They drove their Humvee into the building, smashing down the door of the house. The troops then burst inside and ransacked and destroyed the contents of the house, taking away the Shaykh’s personal computer.
The Shaykh was not home at the time of the raid so the Americans arrested the three children who were there aged 8 to 14 and led them away with them.

Double car bomb attack targets puppet Iraqi Army headquarters near Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 2:05pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance car bombs driven by Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighters exploded by a headquarters of the Iraqi puppet army near the northern city of Kirkuk on Wednesday morning.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the two explosives-laden cars went off by the headquarters of the Third Regiment of the Second Brigade of the Iraqi puppet army on the road southwest of Kiurkuk. The explosions left two Iraqi puppet soldiers dead and eight others wounded, most of them severely, the source said.
Resistance car bomber attacks puppet army checkpoint in Kirkuk Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:23pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet army troops in the northern city of Kirkuk on Tuesday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the car bomb went off by the al-Mashru‘ checkpoint on the main road to the south of the city. The blast killed three Iraqi puppet army troops and wounded seven more of them, some of them severely. Two civilians were also wounded in the attack.
