Resistance bomb blasts US Humvee in al-Fallujah midday Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 8:20pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in al-Fallujah at 12 noon local time Monday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the attack occurred at the al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah crossroads, which divides 40 Street from ath-Tharthar Street.
The blast totally demolished an American Humvee, causing the road to be blocked for half an hour. At the time of reporting Monday night, parts of the destroyed Humvee were still lying in the road. It was impossible to ascertain any details of the nature or extent of US casualties, however since it was difficult for anyone to approach the scene.

In a dispatch posted at 8:20pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet army soldier in the ash-Shuhada’ district of al-Fallujah on Monday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet killed the puppet soldier instantly. The puppet army troops responded by shooting wildly at pedestrians who happened to be in the area at the time, killing four people, one of them a nine-year-old boy.
After that massacre of civilians by the Iraqi puppet army troops the Resistance sharpshooter opened fire at the puppet troops again, killing two more of them.
Resistance bomb damages US Humvee in al-Fallujah midday Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:19pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded a short while before by a US column in al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of ash-Sharikah Street in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood exploded by a US column, moderately damaging a Humvee. No further details on US casualties were known.
US helicopters and warplanes prowled the skies over al-Fallujah during Sunday-Monday night and into early Monday morning, often flying at very low altitudes.
Resistance bombards checkpoint at eastern approach to al-Fallujah Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Makkah time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into a checkpoint set up at the eastern entrance to the city of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Sunday afternoon. It was the first such attack on that checkpoint located between Baghdad and a-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the checkpoint, destroying parts of it and forcing it to shut down completely.

Battle in Baghdad’s al-Ghazaliyah disables two US Humvees.
In a dispatch posted at 12:57pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a US patrol in western Baghdad’s al-Ghazaliyah area.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that fierce fighting raged between Resistance men, armed with rockets and medium and heavy machine guns, and US occupation troops in al-Ghazaliyah. Two US Humvees were disabled in the battle and at least four American troops were killed or wounded.
Iraqi Resistance car bomber blasts into puppet police checkpoint Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet policemen in the al-Mahdiyah section of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosives-laden car raced at high speed towards the checkpoint and blew up when it hit the puppet police rest house adjacent to the checkpoint. The explosion wounded four puppet policemen, two of them severely.

Five elementary school teachers kidnapped in ad-Dujayl Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:17pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men abducted five teachers in eastern ad-Dujayl, about 55km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a group of armed men kidnapped the teachers as they were heading to work in the Bani Tamim Primary School in eastern ad-Dujayl on Monday morning, and led them away to an unknown destination.

Province declares day of civil disobedience to protest US killings in as-Siniyah, al-Ishaqi.
In a dispatch posted at 1:36pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the province of Salah ad-Din on Monday declared a day of civil disobedience in all its departments to protest the continuing blockade of as-Siniyah, and the American massacre in al-Ishaqi, where 30 civilians were shot and bombed to death.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the main Bayji oil refineries that supply a third of Iraq’s oil shut down on Monday in protest. Salah ad-Din University also closed its doors as did all puppet government departments. Public schools and institutes also shut down in denunciation of the continuous toll of civilian lives being taken by US occupation forces.

Resistance fighters blast headquarters of puppet “National Guard” on Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:31pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two S5K rockets into a headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” in al-Mada’in, about 25km southeast of Baghdad on Sunday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the headquarters took direct hits from the missiles,, which set off explosions inside the headquarters and sent smoke clouds of smoke billowing up over the facility.
Resistance bombards pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi headquarters on Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:57pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired Iraqi Resistance forces shelled a headquarters of pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militiamen in al-Mada’in, 25km southeast of Baghdad on Sunday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the headquarters took direct hits from four mortar shells that inflicted heavy damage on the headquarters. More than six Jaysh al-Mahdi followers were either killed or wounded in the bombardment, the witnesses said.

Puppet “Governor” of Diyala Province survives third assassination attempt Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance carbomb exploded by the motorcade of the puppet “Governor” of Diyala Province on Sunday.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that an explosives-packed car that was parked by the side of the road near the northern entrance to the city went off by the motorcade in which the puppet “Governor,” Ra‘d Mulla Jawad, was riding. The puppet police source claimed that the bomb blast inflicted no damage on the motorcade and that Jawad was unharmed. It was the third attempt on the life of the puppet “Governor” of Diyala Province.

Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee in al-Latifiyah Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:27pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad on Sunday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the south of the city went off by a US patrol, destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding all the troops who were aboard it

Resistance bomb leaves US soldier reported dead in al-Hawijah Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 3:15pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol near al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq on Monday morning.
The al-Hawijah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road near al-Hawijah went off by a US patrol, disabling a Humvee and killing one American soldier who was aboard it. Three other US troops were wounded to varying degrees, one of them severely, local witnesses said.
The correspondent reported that the US forces closed off the area where the attack occurred immediately afterward.
