Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bomb attack in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a high-explosive bomb that had been planted near the as-Sufiyah Electric Power station in eastern ar-Ramadi went off by a US patrol, destroying a Humvee and another US vehicle that was accompanying it. At least two US troops were killed and two more of them wounded in the attack, witnesses said.
US carries out mass raids, searches, arrests, in northern ar-Ramadi Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:59pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops surrounded a part of northern ar-Ramadi at dawn on Saturday and launched a campaign of mass arrests.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that US forces surrounded as-Sajariyah at dawn Saturday and began raiding and searching houses and arresting residents. Also included in the American sweep is the nearby area of al-Bu Dalmah. Witnesses said that dozens of US troops and military vehicles were taking part in the raids.
Resistance blasts US al-Warrar base near ar-Ramadi with Katyusha rockets.
In a dispatch posted at 12:02pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three Katyusha rockets into the US base al-Warrar west of the city of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the three set off a massive explosion inside the base and sent a cloud of smoke billowing into the sky over the facility and the surrounding area. US helicopters flew in over the base and surrounding area after the attack. Al-Warrar is the largest US base in the ar-Ramadi area.

Resistance fighters battle puppet "Iraqi National Guard" in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:01pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters battled Iraqi puppet "National Guards" in the middle of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the fighting took place in the 40 Street area of the city and that two puppet "National Guards were killed in the course of the half-hour gunbattle.

Two US troops reported killed while on patrol in 'Anah Friday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12:17pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in 'Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Friday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted near the Fourth Market in 'Anah went off by a passing US foot patrol, killing two American troops and severely wounding a third.

Resistance mortars bombards Jaysh al-Mahdi stronghold in al-Kazimiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:48pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into a stronghold of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi'i sectarian militia in the Baghdad district of al-Kazimiyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage wounded three people.
Resistance sharpshooter cuts down two puppet "Shock Troops" in Baghdad’s al-Qadisiyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two members of the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)" in a camp in Baghdad’s al-Qadisiyah district.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the two were struck by the sharpshooter’s bullets and died instantly at the scene.
Resistance sharpshooter kills two Iraqi puppet army soldiers in western Baghdad on Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:14pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two Iraqi puppet army soldiers on Friday.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the attack occurred as the puppet troops were standing in a military camp on the road to Saddam International Airport near the al-'Amiriyah district. The two puppet army soldiers were killed instantly.
Resistance bomb kills commander in pro-Iranian Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 12:36pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb killed a leader of the pro-Iranian Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia along with a group of his guards in southern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance used remote control to detonate a bomb that had been planed in front of the house of the Jaysh al-Mahdi commander in the al-Ma'alif neighborhood of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah. The explosion occurred as the commander was leaving his house along with a group of his men. The commander and four of his men were killed.
The Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia is run by Muqtada as-Sadr, a Shi'i cleric loyal to Iran, which is seeking to extend its regional hegemony and step into the shoes of the American occupation in Iraq.

In a dispatch posted at 10:48pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar shells into concentrations of pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi'i sectarian militia in al-Mada’in, about 25km southeast of Baghdad on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a number of Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen were killed and a vehicle belonging to the group was destroyed in the barrage.

Bomb destroys US armored vehicle in Ba'qubah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:02pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of Ba'qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad, destroying a vehicle on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb planted in the middle of Nawfal Street in the city went off under a US patrol, completely destroying a US armored vehicle and killing or wounding all aboard according to witnesses. After the attack, the American troops sealed off the area.
Resistance bombards Iraqi puppet army facility in Ba'qubah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:56am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets into a headquarters of the Iraqi puppet army in Ba'qubah, 65km northeast of Baghdad, on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the headquarters of the Second Division of the puppet army took direct hits from the rockets the set off explosions that shook the facility, sending plumes of smoke rising from inside.

US troops arrest 40 members of al-Gharir tribe in al-Mahmudiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 6:57pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, US occupation forces arrested more than 40 members of the al-Gharir tribe in the town of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.
The al-Mahmudiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops made the raids and arrests in the area of Route No. 9 which overlooks the International Highway that links southern Iraq with Baghdad.
In addition to arresting local residents, the US troops used percussion grenades to blow open doors and brought fierce police dogs into houses to terrorize women and children.

Resistance mortars blast US consulate in al-Hillah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds at the US consulate in al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the US consulate in Hotel Babil in the city was targeted for an attack that set off explosions inside and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance fighters drive back Jaysh al-Mahdi-puppet "National Guard" attack on as-Suwayrah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:08pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces frustrated a pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi assault on the area of as-Suwayrah, 48km southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Shi'i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia, covered by troops of the puppet "Iraqi National Guard,"attacked the area of as-Suwayrah and then came under mortar bombardment from counterattacking Resistance men.
The Resistance fired three mortar rounds at the Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen, killing a number of them and forcing them to retreat from the area.

Resistance mortars blast US headquarters in Kirkuk airport Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 5:53pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds into the US headquarters set up in Kirkuk Airport on Saturday afternoon.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortar rounds blasted into the US-occupied facility at about 3:30pm local time Saturday afternoon. No information on casualties or damage was available. Local residents said that this smoke billowed up from the airport after the explosions that followed the barrage. Swarms of US helicopters could be seen over the base.
The attack on the US-occupied airport came one month after the Americans took measures to prevent such assaults on that facility.
Resistance bomb blasts Iraqi puppet army troops in ar-Rashad Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 3:49pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet army troops south of Kirkuk on Saturday afternoon.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road in he ar-Rashad area, about 25km south Kirkuk, went off by a patrol of Second Squadron of the Second Regiment of the Iraqi puppet army. The source said that the blast damaged one of the patrol vehicles and wounded a puppet army officer.

Resistance car bomb in al-Mawsil leaves four US troops reported dead Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US column in the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an explosives-laden car that was parked by the side of al-Islah Street in the middle of the city went off by a passing American column, destroying a Humvee and killing four US troops. The correspondent reported that the vehicle was still ablaze at the time of reporting and that US troops were surrounding the area as helicopters prowled the skies overhead.
Resistance bomb targets US patrol in southeastern al-Mawsil Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:28pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in southeastern al-Mawsil on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road went off by a US patrol on al-Hasw Square in the al-Intisar neighborhood area of southeastern al-Mawsil.
The puppet police source offered no further details, but eyewitnesses told the correspondent that the blast disabled a US military vehicle, wounding several American soldiers.

Mysterious car bomb explodes in crowded market in Karbala’.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an explosives-laden car went off in a crowded popular market on al-'Abbas Street in the Shi'i holy city of Karbala’ in southern Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 2:48pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the number of those killed or injured in the car bomb explosion Saturday morning had risen to 48.
The an-Najaf correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source in Karbala’ as saying that the total number of dead at that hour stood at nine persons, and the number of injured at 39, most of those in serious condition. The source said that the majority of the casualties were men, not women and children as an announcement issued by the Shi'i sectarian Iraqi "Government" reported.
The source added that more than 20 shops had been totally destroyed in the car bomb explosion as were a number of cars that happened to be in the area at the time.
