US troops rampage through al-Fallujah General Hospital Thursday afternoon “searching” for Resistance fighters they claim receive treatment at the facility.
In a bulletin posted at 2:38pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US occupation troops had raided al-Fallujah General Hospital, ostensibly searching for Resistance fighters, whom they referred to as “gunmen.”
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that many US Marines had surrounded the hospital and then stormed inside to search for Resistance fighters who, they claimed, were receiving treatment there.
The witnesses said that the Americans broke down numerous doors and windows in the hospital, rampaging through the building on what they called a “search.”
Resistance bomb kills four puppet policemen in al-Fallujah Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:58pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol on the main road near the as-Salam shopping complex at the intersection of the roads to the al-Jumhuriyah neighborhood and the al-Wahdah neighborhood near the al-Kamaliyat market on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that the explosion completely destroyed a patrol car, killing four puppet policemen immediately and wounding two civilians who were taken to hospital for treatment.
The source said that all the shops and markets in the area around where the attack took place were closed down because of the “security measures” taken by the puppet police and the American troops who showed up on the scene after the bombing.

In a dispatch posted at 12:48pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US patrol opened fire on an ambulance on the road between as-Saqlawiyah and al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad, at 3pm Wednesday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in al-Fallujah General Hospital as saying that an American patrol opened fire intensely on one of the hospital’s ambulances on Wednesday afternoon, severely wounding the driver. The source said that the driver was admitted to the hospital’s emergency operating room and that his condition is extremely grave.
The source said that the driver’s colleagues and eyewitnesses confirmed that an American patrol had unleashed heavy gunfire on the ambulance, badly wounding the driver.

US troops kill Iraqi civilian in Hit following Resistance bomb attack.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by US troops on Clock Tower Square in the ash-Sharqi neighborhood in the city of Hit, 165km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded by a US patrol but they had no information on the nature or extent of possible US casualties. The witnesses said, however, that the Americans responded to the explosion by firing their weapons indiscriminately around the entire area for more than 15 minutes. One Iraqi civilian was killed and five more were severely wounded by the wild American gunfire, according to a medical source in the city hospital where the victims were brought following the attack.
US troops arrest high school teacher, his two sons in Hit Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:12pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops arrested three members of one family in the city of Hit, 165km northwest of Baghdad, on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported relatives of those arrested as saying that the American surrounded the home of Mas‘ud Ya‘qub Sa‘id, 48, a teacher at a secondary school in Hit, who lives on a lane in the al-Jam‘iyah neighborhood of Hit. The Americans arrested Sa‘id and his two sons without explanation and took them off to one of their bases.

American soldier reported killed in bombing in Baghdad as Resistance operations against US and Iraqi puppet forces and sectarian militias continue.
In a dispatch posted at 8:55pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces battled US troops on the Old Abu Ghurayb Road in Baghdad on Thursday. The Americans were on their way to al-Ghazaliyah in Baghdad when Resistance fighters intercepted them near the dairy in the area sparking a half-hour gun battle in which four bombs and rockets exploded, destroying two Humvees, killing all aboard them. A fuel tank truck in the column was also set ablaze in the attack, according to a source in the Islamic Army Resistance organization who spoke to Mafkarat al-Islam.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in the residential area around the Arab Children’s Hospital a Resistance bomb went off by a US military vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding two more, according to shopkeepers in the plastic good stores located opposite the scene.
Altogether on Thursday some 14 Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded in the al-Karakh side of Baghdad, most of them targeted on puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” and pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militias.
The Resistance detonated four bombs targeted on puppet “Order Protection Police” in the districts of al-‘Amiriyah and the neighborhood of al-Jihad and al-Jami‘ah (“the University”), killing or wounding 19 of the puppet police, and setting fire to four of the puppet forces’ pickups and Toyota Land Cruisers.
One Iraqi Resistance bomb targeted the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in al-Mushahadah, about 25km north of Baghdad in Salah ad-Din Province, killing five of the puppet “Shock Troops” and one civilian, according to a medical source.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb that exploded in the at-Tubji area of Baghdad destroyed the car in which Colonel Salim Mahmud ar-Rabi‘i, the commander of a bomb disposal unit of the Shock Troops was riding. The Colonel’s body was not found after the attack, however, having been blown apart, according to local eyewitnesses.
Iraqi Resistance men shot and killed four officersof the puppet “Interior Ministry,” one of them Lieutenant Colonel Hasan Jawad al-‘Izzi, who had been taken part in the Second Battle of al-Fallujah two years ago and was accused on television by a woman from that city of trying to attack her.
There was another attempt to kill Shaykh Sattar Bazi‘, the head of the US-founded “al-Anbar Salvation Council” in the Baghdad district of as-Salihiyah. Arab tribes in al-Anbar declared Bazi‘ a traitor for meeting with the puppet “Prime Minister” of Iraq as part of a US effort to get Sunni Iraqis into the puppet regime. He has since had to live in Baghdad for fear of being killed any time he sets foot in al-Anbar Province. Althoug Bazi‘ survived the Thursday attack, one of his bodyguards was killed, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded opposite the Interior Departments Building of al-Mustansiriyah University, destroying a puppet army vehicle and killing one Iraqi puppet soldier and wounding four more of them.
Resistance fighters ambush car carrying pro-Iranian militiamen in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:18pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a car carrying pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen in the as-Sihhah neighborhood of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters unleashed a hail of machine gun fire on the car, leaving the three Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen dead.
The Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia is run by Muqtada as-Sadr, a Shi‘i cleric loyal to Iran, which is seeking to extend its regional hegemony and step into the shoes of the American occupation in Iraq.
Resistance rockets Jaysh al-Mahdi headquarters in Baghdad’s ash-Shu‘lah district Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:23pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets directly into the headquarters of the pro-Iranian Shi ‘ sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia in the ash-Shu‘lah district of Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the rockets inflicted heavy damage on the Jaysh al-Mahdi headquarters and killed or wounded eight or 10 of the sectarian militiamen.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah on Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:47pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet “National Guards” in western Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a high-explosive bomb that had been planted in the middle of the road in the al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi area of al-‘Amiriyah went off by a puppet “National Guard” patrol, completely destroying a Nissan pickup patrol vehicle and killing two of the puppet “Guards.”
Three more of the puppet “National Guards” were wounded in the attack, after which the troops closed off the area for several hours.
Resistance bomb targets US patrol in al-Ghazaliyah Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:51pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the western Baghdad district of al-Ghazaliyah on Wednesday.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted on the main road in al-Ghazaliyah near as-Siddiq Street went off as a US patrol was driving by. The blast completely destroyed a US armored vehicle, killing or wounding all aboard. The witnesses said that after the attack, US troops closed off the entire area.

Two US troops reported killed in Thursday morning bomb attack in Bayji.
In a dispatch posted at 12:58pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in Bayji, about 200km north of Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the al-‘Askari neighborhood opposite the Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah Secondary School in the city went off when a US patrol drove past. The explosion destroyed one Humvee, killing two American troops and seriously wounding two more of them. A US helicopter airlifted the wounded men out of the area, a fact that indicates their wounds were regarded as severe.
Ad-Dulu‘iyah.
US forces arrest puppet police commander, pro-occupation professor in ad-Dulu‘iyah on Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:38pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops arrested a college professor who worked for the US puppet regime in 2003 and a high-ranking officer in the puppet police in ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Dr. Sajir Nasir al-Jabburi, a professor in the College of Islamic Law at Baghdad University, and a former member of the Committee put together by the US occupation to approve the “Constitution” for Iraq drafted by the American law professor Noah Feldman in 2003. The Americans arrested the professor as he was taking his son to the hospital after the latter was wounded in crossfire between Iraqi Resistance forces and US troops on Wednesday.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that the Americans also arrested Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Khalid ‘Abd al-Hamid, the director of the puppet police station in southern ad-Dulu‘iyah. That arrest took place late on Wednesday night, the source said.

Al-Mahmudiyah.
Resistance mortars blast into US headquarters in al-Mahmudiyah Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:37pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds at the US headquarters in the city of al-Mahmudiyah, 30km south of Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the US-occupied headquarters shaking the facility and setting off more, secondary explosions that sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Tall ‘Afar.
Puppet police, US troops conduct mass raids in Tall ‘Afar Wednesday rounding up people unconnected with the Resistance when no Resistance fighters could be found.
In a dispatch posted at 2:36pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet police backed up by US occupation troops carried out a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests in Tall ‘Afar, about 55km west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the raids and arrests took place in the city;s ‘Abdan district where the puppet police and Americans were searching for “wanted men” ミ meaning Iraqi Resistance fighters. Seven local residents were arrested in the course of the sweep. Eyewitnesses living in the area said that the seven men who were taken away were “absolutely not: connected with armed Resistance activities in any way.
The witnesses said that they believed that the patrol was afraid to return to its base empty handed and therefore resolved to just arrest anyone, even people with no connection to the Resistance, in order not to go back with nothing to show for their time and effort. “This is how the occupation forces treat Iraqi civilians, particularly in ‘hot zones’,” the local residents commented to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent.
