Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US Marine in ar-Ramadi at noon Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:27pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US occupation soldier in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad at 12 noon local time Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an American Marine was riding atop an Abrams tank in the district of as-Sufiyah in ar-Ramadi when he was struck and killed by a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet. The witnesses said that the Marine fell dead from the tank. Afterwards, US troops surrounded the area and arrested one person, claiming that he had shot the Marine.

Resistance mortars pound US headquarters in Hit Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 2:11pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad, on Friday
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that the US headquarters set up in the Hit railroad station took direct hits from six mortar shells on Friday evening. The witnesses said explosions shook the headquarters and then plumes of smoke rose over the American-occupied facility.
Al-Qa’im.
Resistance bomb targets US patrol near al-Qa’im in western Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol near al-Qa’im, not far from the Syrian border in western Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road leading to al-Qa’im went off by a US patrol, directly hitting and disabling an American Humve and killing or wounding all the troops aboard it.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Resistance fighters blast al-Habbaniyah base with 120mm mortar Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army base in al-Habbaniyah, about 70km west of Baghdad, on Friday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that they saw plumes of smoke rising from inside the base after the barrage and that swarms of US helicopters were seen over the base and the surrounding area afterwards.
Al-Hadithah.
Resistance fighters ambush US patrol in al-Haqlaniyah market Friday afternoon, wounding four.
In a dispatch posted at 11:54am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting raged between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US occupation troops in the al-Haqlaniyah area near al-Hadithah, 236km northwest of Baghdad on Friday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Haqlaniyah as saying that Iraqi Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons ambushed US troops when they ventured into the al-Haqlaniyah market. Witnesses said that the battle lasted about half an hour and left four US troops wounded and one of their Humvees ablaze.
Afterwards the Americans surrounded the area and carried out raids looking for the Resistance men.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb damages US minesweeper vehicle in al-Fallujah Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 3:33pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a by a US minesweeper vehicle in the city of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Iraqi Resistance detonated a bomb by remote control near a US minesweeper vehicle in the al-Jawlan neighborhood of al-Fallujah, near the shops of the old market there.
The witnesses said that the blast extensively damaged the mine sweeper but the fate of the crew was unknown because the Americans closed off the area and prevented everyone from approaching.
US officer reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter in al-Fallujah on Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an officer in the US military in al-Fallujah about 60km west of Baghdad, on Friday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ad-Dubbat al-Ula neighborhood as saying that a US officer got out of one of a patrol vehicle that had been driving around their area and was struck by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet directly in the head, killing him.
After the attack, US troops closed the road leading to ath-Tharthar Street and then went back to the place where the attack occurred but not in their usual fashion. A force of more than 500 Marines backed up by dozens of armored US military vehicles deployed in the area and began immediately to seal off the entire ad-Dubbat al-Ula neighborhood and also the area around ath-Tharthar Street. They carried out house-to-house raids and searches and arrested a number of local residents on the grounds that they were “suspects.”
Resistance bomb leaves two US troops reported killed in al-Fallujah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:09am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the middle of al-Fallujah on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in the “7 Nisan” neighborhood as saying that the blast completely disabled a vehicle in the patrol, killing two soldiers and wounding others. The Americans responded by opening fire indiscriminately around them, killing one passerby.
The witnesses said they saw the US troops take the two soldiers from in front of their houses and then haul the wreckage of the vehicle away.

Thirty-seven thousand Sunnis being held, tortured in Iraqi puppet regime prisons, spokesman for Association of Muslim Scholars says; 300-400 victims found dead every day.
In a dispatch posted at 8:22pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Shaykh ‘Abd as-Salam al-Kubaysi, a spokesman for the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, the highest religious authority for Sunni Muslims in the country, said that 37,000 Sunnis are being held prisoner by the puppet regime across the country. He said that they face slow deaths by torture, the trademark of the Shi‘i sectarian militias and the regime’s Shi‘i sectarian security agencies, if nothing is done to secure their release.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported al-Jazeera net as quoting al-Kubasi saying: “37,000 Sunni prisoners in Iraq are facing a slow death and if we keep silent about this, it will mean that they will all die.
The member of the Association of Muslim Scholars said that hundreds of bodies of Sunnis who have been tortured to death show up in the streets of Iraqi cities, particularly Baghdad, every day. These are victims of the US-installed Shi‘i sectarian “Iraqi Interior Ministry.”
Al-Kubaysi confirmed that the official statistics on the number of people found tortured to death on a daily basis are grossly understated. The true number, he said, is between 300 and 400 every day ﾐ all of those Sunnis.
The Shaykh denounced Sunni Iraqis to collaborate with the puppet regime, with the “Parliament” and “Government” of the US-installed “Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki, saying that they are playing the role of “evil witnesses” and he demanded that the Sunnis in the puppet “Parliament” and “Government” stop their activity which only serves to confer some sort of legitimacy on al-Maliki’s “sectarian government in Iraq.”
Al-Kubaysi also denounced the role being played by the regional hegemonic power Iran, saying that it is no less dangerous than that being played by the US. Tehran backs the pro-Iranian sectarian gangs, in particular the Jaysh al-Mahdi led by Shi ‘ sectarian cleric Muqtada as-Sadr and the Badr Brigades of the so-called “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCCIRI) led by ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hakim, he noted.

In a dispatch posted at 4:28pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a four-wheel-drive car carrying foreigners flipped over as it traveled at high speed along the highway from Baghdad to Saddam International Airport west of the occupied Iraqi capital.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an ambulance was near the car that had run off the road and flipped over. US troops were also standing by the side of the road but no further details on who was in the vehicle or on the fate of the passengers were known.
The type of four-wheel drive vehicle that was involved in the incident is used in occupied Iraq exclusively by US intelligence agencies, mercenary “security companies” working for the occupation, and Iraqi puppet regime officials.
Six US troops reported killed in fierce battle in Baghdad Saturday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 3:35pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at that hour fierce combat was under way between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US occupation troops backed up by puppet “Order Protection Police.”
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from inside the city that a Resistance fighter shot and killed an American soldier at one en of al-Mudif Street opposite the electrical appliance shops. Then the Resistance men fired four shoulder-launched rockets at the Americans, destroying two US vehicles and sparking a battle that was still going on intermittently at the time of reporting.
The correspondent reported that the Resistance men were using the tactic of hit and run in the battle. The main focus of the fighting at that time was between the Muluki Mosque and the end of al-Mudif Street in the direction of al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street opposite the ar-Rabat softdrink store.
Informed sources told Mafkarat al-Islam that six US troops had been killed as had a number of the puppet “Order Protection Police” in the battle as of the time of reporting.
Resistance barrage kills nine puppet “Shock Troops” in western Baghdad midday Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:53pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage at a checkpoint manned by the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the al-Jihad neighborhood of western Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet security forces as saying that Resistance fighters based in al-‘Amiriyah attacked the puppet “Shock Troop” checkpoint located opposite the National Security College. The attack killed nine puppet “Shock Troops, two of them officers. Another four of them were wounded.
The puppet security source said that US troops pinpointed the place from which the mortar shells had been launched and were at the time of reporting raiding the area in al-‘Amiriyah.
Resistance fighters ambush pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in ad-Durah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:26pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed three members of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militia in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Durah as saying that the Resistance men ambushed a car carrying the three pro-Iranian gunmen, opening fire with machine guns on them in a sudden attack that gave the gunmen no time to respond.
The witnesses said that the sectarian gunmen died instantly while the Resistance fighters withdrew without having suffered any casualties.

Resistance fighter lobs hand grenade into US Humvee leaving American soldier reported dead as curfew in Samarra’ enters third day amidst increased American restrictions.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the American blockade on the city of Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad entered its third day on Saturday amidst unprecedentedly severe American-imposed restrictions on local residents.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US forces carried out extensive raids and searches, arresting 24 local residents. The Americans also threw a number of families out of their homes and into the streets, commandeering the houses for themselves to use as sniper posts.
Local residents told Mafkarat al-Islam that on Saturday an Iraqi Resistance fighter threw a hand grenade at an American Humvee in the Maryam Market in the middle of Samarra’, setting the vehicle on fire and killing one US soldier and wounding three more of them.

US, Iraqi puppet army carry out raids and arrests in Ba‘qubah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:31pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet security forces together with US occupation troop scarried out a campaign of raids and arrests in neighborhoods of northern Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Iraqi puppet army troops with direct support from US forces carried out raids and searches looking for “wanted men” in northern neighborhoods of Ba‘qubah. They arrested five people and took them off to one of the nearby US bases. The witnesses said that the arrested men had no connection with an Resistance operations.

Al-Mahmudiyah.
Resistance blasts “American meat base” in al-Mahmudiyah at noon Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:24pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar shells at the US base set up in the former meat-packing plant north of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad at midday Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the facility known locally as the “American meat base” ﾐ because it is located in a former meat packing plant ﾐ took direct hits from four Resistance shells setting off secondary explosions and sending one plume of dense smoke into the sky. The witnesses said that swarms of American helicopters were seen in the sky over the base and the surrounding area after the attack.
Al-Hillah.
Resistance blasts US consulate in al-Hillah with mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 3:04pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of heavy 120mm mortar rounds at the US consulate in the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad at midday Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet security forces in the city who asked not to be identified as saying that the barrage, at 12 noon local time Saturday, killed two of the Iraqi puppet police guards detailed at the US consulate.

Resistance pounds US base in al-Hawijah with Katyusha rockets, mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 60mm mortar rounds and two Katyusha rockets into a US base in the city of al-Hawijah in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the base took direct hits from two Katyusha rockets followed by three 60mm mortar shells. Theey said that they could hear the explosions and saw plumes of smoke rising from inside the base after the shelling. They also noted that US column left the base immediately after the barrage in an apparent effort to evacuate the most severely wounded men to some other location.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police in al-Mawsil Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:04pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the northern city of al-Mawsil on Friday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in the al-Wahdah neighborhood near the as-Sabirin Mosque in the southeastern part of al-Mawsil went off by a puppet police patrol. The puppet police source provided no information on the nature or extent of casualties. Eyewitnesses told the correspondent that the explosion moderately damaged a patrol vehicle but had no information on casualties either because the puppet police cordoned off the entire area.
