Resistance car bomber blasts US-Iraqi puppet army checkpoint in al-Hadithah Saturday evening.

In a bulletin posted at 6:11pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden Kia car into a checkpoint jointly manned by US and Iraqi puppet army soldiers in the al-Haqlaniyah area near al-Hadithah, 236km northeast of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported motorists who witnessed the attack as saying that three cars went past the area where the checkpoint was located and asked them to hurry up and go through because there was a martyrdom fighter ready to go and blow up the checkpoint. The witnesses said, “five minutes later we heard the sound of the explosion. It shook the whole eastern district of al-Hadithah.

The car bomber killed or wounded more than 10 US and Iraqi puppet troops and set two Humvees that were parked at the checkpoint on fire. The correspondent reported that joy and celebration spread throughout all of al-Hadithah as news of the car bombing spread. The particular checkpoint that was blown up was well known as a location where women were humiliated and searched and where any man with a long beard ﾐ such as is identified with Islamic fundamentalists ﾐ would be arrested.

Ar-Ramadi.

US warplane rockets car carrying four people in eastern ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 7:37pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US warplane had killed four people in eastern ar-Ramadi when it fired at least one rocket at a car.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an American fighterbomber fired at least one rocket at a car in which four people were riding in eastern ar-Ramadi. The four passengers in the car were killed instantly. No information on the identity of the passengers or the reason why the Americans blew up their car was available.

Resistance fighters capture two US Marines as fighting rages in ar-Ramadi Saturday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 5:51pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance fighters succeeded in capturing two US Marines in an ambush in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad. The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance men trapped the Americans in the city, where fierce fighting has been going on since Saturday morning. No further details were immediately available.

Earlier, in a dispatch posted at 2:38pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent fighting had been underway for about an hour between dozens of Resistance fighters and US occupation troops in the as-Sajariyah area in the eastern suburbs of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the sound of powerful explosions and of artillery could be heard in the area followed by air raids by US fighterbombers. The witnesses said that they had heard that the Americans were suffering heavy losses.

US aircraft firebomb house in ar-Ramadi at dawn Saturday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:21pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation aircraft fired incendiary projectiles into a house in the city of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad as it continues its attacks on innocent residents of the city.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that US aircraft dropped a number of heat bombs on one of the houses in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood in central ar-Ramadi at dawn Saturday for no apparent reason. The bombs largely burned down the house. The family that was living in the house miraculously escaped injury, however, witnesses said.

‘Anah.

Resistance bomb leaves two US troops reported dead in ‘Anah Saturday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 1:04pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Saturday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the Wadi al-Fahimi area blew up by the patrol, completely destroying a Humvee and killing two US soldiers and wounding three more of them to varying degrees. The witnesses said that after the attack, US troops launched raids in the Industrial Zone of ‘Anah, arresting seven local people including a disabled man, in revenge for the bombing.

Al-Fallujah.

American sniper assassinates former General in Iraqi Army as he stands in his backyard in al-Fallujah Friday night.

In a dispatch posted at 4:46pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops shot and killed a former staff brigadier general in the Army of the Republic of Iraq in eastern al-Fallujah on Friday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that an American sniper took aim at Brigadier General ‘Imad Hadi Ahmad al-Jumayli when he was standing in the back yard of his home in the al-‘Askari Neighborhood of eastern al-Fallujah on Friday night.

The source said that the American sniper, who was perched atop the roof of one of the houses opposite that of al-Jumayli’s, fired four bullets into the back of former General al-Jumayli. The former general died instantly. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two brothers of General al-Jumayli’s had been killed by US troops during the first Battle of al-Fallujah in April 2004. General al-Jumayli was buried in the Martyrs Cemetery in al-Fallujah on Saturday morning.

Resistance fires mortars at house occupied by US troops in al-Karmah Saturday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US military camp in al-Karmah near al-Fallujah on Saturday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that US troops had occupied one of the large houses in the al-Hasiwat area of western al-Karmah and turned it into a camp for themselves.

The Resistance targeted the house with two heavy mortar shells striking it and sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky. Following the attack, US forces sealed off the area for more than six continuous hours. An American helicopter landed in the area apparently to evacuate dead or wounded US soldiers.

Resistance fighters ambush puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Fallujah at dawn Saturday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:09pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent fighting raged between Iraqi Resistance forces and puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad at dawn on Saturday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a group of Resistance fighters armed with light and medium machine guns assaulted an Iraqi puppet military camp in the area of al-Muhit Street, sparking a violent battle that lasted about 30 minutes, after which the Resistance fighters withdrew from the area without having taken any casualties.

Witnesses said that the Resistance attack inflicted heavy damage on the camp but no details as to the nature or extent of puppet troop casualties were available. After the clash, US troops arrived and cordoned off the entire area. They proceeded to carry out raids in the Industrial Zone that lies near the scene of the attack. The Americans used percussion grenades to blow open any shops that had been closed so they could search them and wreck their contents. The American assault stirred up resentment among the local population.

Resistance bomb targets puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Fallujah Friday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol in southern al-Fallujah on Friday evening. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb went off near the at-Taqwa Mosque in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood of southern al-Fallujah.

The blast directly damaged a Humvee owned by the Iraqi puppet “Guards” disabling it. Two puppet Iraqi “National Guards” were also killed in the explosion. The puppet “Guards” responded by spraying the area with gunfire, seriously wounding two civilians who happened to be in the area. Both were later taken to al-Fallujah General Hospital for treatment.

Resistance blasts US base east of al-Fallujah with rockets Frdiay.

In a dispatch posted at 1:39pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three S5K rockets into the larges of US bases east of al-Fallujah on Friday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet policemen who were manning the checkpoint on the eastern entrance to al-Fallujah as saying that the US al-Mazra‘ah (“the Farm”) camp ﾐ the largest American camp near the city ﾐ was hit by three rockets, setting off explosions inside the American-occupied facility. The witnesses said that US helicopters cruised over the base and the surrounding area for several hours following the attack.

Resistance fighters kill puppet policeman in al-Fallujah Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:47pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assassinated a member of the Iraqi puppet police in al-Fallujah on Friday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that masked Resistance men driving a car shot and killed Sa‘d Nazim, a local puppet policeman in the al-Andalus neighborhood of the city. The source said that the attackers shot Nazim who was on a periodical vacation near his home, spraying him with a hail of gunfire and killing him in front of local residents. The Resistance men then withdrew from the scene.

Resistance rocket attack targets US Humvee in Hit Friday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 11:03am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a US column in the city of Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad on Friday evening.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters fired a rocket at a Humvee in the column in the al-‘Ummal neighborhood in the middle of the city. The rocket scored a direct hit on the vehicle severely damaging it and probably inflicting casualties among the US troops. Immediately after the attack, US troops imposed a security cordon around the area, preventing people or cars from approaching.

Resistance fighters kill No. 3 leader of pro-American SCIRI organization.

In a dispatch posted at 8:16pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed the No. 3 commander in the hierarchy of the pro-American so-called “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI). The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet security source as saying that Resistance fighters ﾐ whom he called “terrorists” ﾐ had shot and killed ‘Ali al-‘Addad and his wife in the al-Ma’mun district of occupied Baghdad.

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that al-‘Addadi was the No. 3 man in the command of SCIRI and a commander in SCIRI’s armed organization the Badr Brigades, the 20,000-man armed militia that invaded Iraqi together with the US military in spring 2003 and since then have formed the backbone of the American-run security forces. Al-‘Addadi was also a member of the puppet “Iraqi Parliament” and an adviser to the so-called Committee to Write the Constitution ﾐ a body that approved the American-imposed “constitution” written by American Zionist lawyer Noah Feldman.

Al-‘Addadi was also known for inciting US occupation forces to attack the northern Iraqi city of Tall ‘Afar in the summer of 2005.

Resistance bombards puppet “Shock Troop” headquarters in ad-Durah Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that powerful explosions shook the headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” near the ad-Durah electricity station in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Friday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents in ad-Durah as saying that four powerful explosions rocked the headquarters of the “Shock Troops” on Friday afternoon. The residents said tha t plumes of smoke rose over the headquarters but no information on the nature or extent of casualties or damage was available.

Resistance blasts US-occupied base near Yathrib with mortars Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 1:47pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired twelve 82mm mortar rounds at the US-occupied al-Bakr Air base located near Yathrib, about 70km north of Baghdad, on Friday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the shells scored direct hits setting off violent explosions that shook the base ﾐ known to the Americans as “Camp Anaconda,” and sending thick clouds of smoke rising into the sky over the facility. Eyewitnesses said that US helicopters hovered over the camp and surrounding areas for a long time after the attack.

Resistance car bomber blasts into Kurdish separatist Peshmergah checkpoint Saturday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 4:26pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet army troops in northern al-Mawsil on Saturday morning.

Quds Press reported that the checkpoint was manned by pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militamen. The Quds Press correspondent reported a spokesman for the puppet police as saying that the blast in the al-‘Arabi neighborhood killed three Peshmergah gunmen and wounded a number of others. Mafkarat al-Islam reported that seven troops manning the checkpoint had been wounded.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a Resistance fighter drove an Opel Omega into the checkpoint in the al-‘Arabi neighborhood on the road linking al-Mawsil with Dakuk and other towns further north. Quds Press reported that ambulances were seen racing to the scene of the attack and fire truck drove in to work on extinguishing the fire ignited by the blast.

The correspondent for Quds Press noted that the Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militiamen have a large presence in the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil, a fact that arouses considerable discontent among the majority of the population. Arab residents regard the heavy presence of Peshmergah militiamen as a sign that Kurdish separatists are trying to seize control of al-Mawsil, or at least of large parts of it, and annex it to a “Kurdish state” in the event that Iraq is partitioned according to plans drawn up by Zionist and American political think tanks.
