Iraqi Resistance reportedly shoots down US helicopter near al-Qa’im Tuesday night.

In a dispatch posted at 10:54pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that it had been reported that the Iraqi Resistance had shot down a US helicopter in the Makr adh-Dhib area near al-Qa’im in western Iraq not far from the Syrian border.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that they had seen a surface-to-air rocket strike the US Apache helicopter, which then crashed to earth. The nighttime curfew was in effect at the hour when the news first surfaced, making it impossible to obtain further details, other than the fact that swarms of US helicopters were prowling the area over al-Qa’im at the time of reporting.

Resistance abducts 17 Iraqis building a wall around ‘Anah for American occupation forces.

In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men abducted 17 Iraqi workers serving the US occupation forces who were building a cement wall around the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad. The wall begins at Wadi al-Fihimah and ends south of the city.

The ‘Anah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters also commandeered two trucks that were used to haul the construction workers on Tuesday morning. Accounts regarding the fate of the workers employed by the Americans differs, but at least some maintain that they were all executed immediately after being abducted.

Ar-Ramadi.

US warplanes blast three houses in ar-Ramadi Tuesday morning, killing four children and their mother.

In a dispatch posted at 10:58pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US fighter planes struck three residential houses in the middle of ar-Ramadi on Tuesday morning, killing four children, including an 40-day old infant, and wounding seven others. The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source as saying that a US warplane struck two houses in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood and another in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of central ar-Ramadi, killing five civilians ﾐ four children and their mother ﾐ and wounding seven more local civilians.

Powerful explosions shake US al-Warrar base late Tuesday night.

In a bulletin posted at 10:17pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eight powerful explosions shook the US al-Warrar base on the Euphrates River west of ar-Ramadi. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported flame and smoke could be seen rising over the American-occupied facility after the explosion as sirens wailed inside base. Explosions continued to shake the area one after another after the initial eight blasts.

US warplanes blast house in ar-Ramadi Monday night, killing family of six

In a dispatch posted at 12:58pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US warplanes rocketed a house in the middle of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad on Monday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood as saying that US fighter aircraft struck a family home around midnight Monday-Tuesday, demolishing it and killing six civilians, a man, his wife, a young girl and three small children.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance battles US troops in al-Fallujah in pre-dawn hours of Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 1:33pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting raged between US occupation troops and Resistance men in the middle of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad, early in the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police as saying that a group of Resistance men opened fire with light and medium weapons on a US patrol as it entered the as-Simak base in the middle of the city after midnight early Tuesday morning.

The attack sparked a violent 15-minute firefight in which Resistance men fired rocket-propelled grenades. US troops stormed into the al-Ba‘th neighborhood to search for the Resistance fighters by found no sight of them as they slipped away into the night having taken no casualties.

Iraqi puppet troops kill civilian south of al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 1pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet army forces opened fire indiscriminately at a number of civilians in the village of an-Nu‘aymiyah, south of al-Fallujah, killing one.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the puppet army troops opened fire on civilians who were near their checkpoint at one of the roads that run from the village to al-Fallujah. The source noted that the victim took direct hits from the puppet troops’ guns and when other local residents tried to come to his aid, the puppet troops shot at them again to drive them away.

Resistance mortar barrage targets US base in as-Saqlawiyah for second straight day.

In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage at the US base in as-Saqlawiyah, about 15km northwest of al-Fallujah at dawn on Tuesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that for the second time in two consecutive days, the Resistance blasted the American base with mortars, scoring direct hits that set off massive explosions and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb disables Humvee in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of al-Fallujah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source in al-Fallujah as saying that a bomb that had been planted next to the main road in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of the city blew up by a US patrol as it entered the city. The explosion disabled a US Humvee, but the precise nature and extent of American casualties was unknown because US force quickly surrounded the area and hauled away the damaged vehicle.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in al-Hadithah Monday.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol in northern al-Hadithah, about 220km northwest of Baghdad, on Monday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the ar-Rifa‘i neighborhood near the ar-Rifa‘i Mosque blew up by a passing American patrol. The blast left dead and wounded among the Americans. Afterwards, US reinforcements arrived on the scene and very quickly surrounded it making an accounting of the casualties impossible.

Baghdad.

US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet Tuesday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 10:46pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier near the al-Bahjah elementary school in the middle of Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district Tuesday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the US soldier took a direct hit in the head by a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly. Witnesses said that American occupation troops surrounded he area after the attack and searched the school, terrorizing the small children and arresting one of the school guards for interrogation.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” Tuesday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 10:31pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” behind the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah Mosque in the al-Yarmuk region of central Baghdad at 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb exploded by a passing Humvee destroying it and killing two puppet “Iraqi National Guards.” Another three more puppet “Guards” were severely wounded in the explosion, according to a puppet police source. The correspondent reported that the Iraqi puppet forces opened fire at the mosque in response to the bombing, moderately wounding one passer by.

Resistance fighters kill brother of puppet “Public Prosecutor” in current show “trial” of Iraqi President Saddam Husayn and other imprisoned Iraqi leaders.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men shot and killed the brother of the puppet “Public Prosecutor” in the show “trial” of Iraqi President Saddam Husayn and a number of other Iraqi leaders currently imprisoned by the US occupation forces.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the armed men stormed the house of ‘Imad al-Fir‘awn al-Fatlawi, the brother of the puppet “Public Prosecutor” in the current “trial” of the Iraqi President, Munqidh al-Fir‘awn al-Fatlawi. They shot and killed him on the spot. The attack took place in the al-Jami‘ah district of western Baghdad.

Resistance fighters kill member of pro-American Kurdish separatist party in al-Mawsil.

In a dispatch posted at 2:13pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighter shot and killed a member of the pro-American Kurdish separatist “Patriotic Union of Kurdistan” led by the US-installed puppet “Iraqi President” Jalal Talibani. The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a puppet police source as saying that a group of armed men opened fire on Fattah al-Harki as he was leaving his house in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood of al-Mawsil, killing him instantly. Al-Harki, a lawyer, was a former member of the puppet provincial council.
