Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guard” pickup on Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:34pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted on the main road in the al-Malahimah area of al-Khalidiyah went off by a Nissan pickup owned by the puppet “National Guards,” totally destroying the vehicle and killing three puppet troops who were aboard. The puppet “National Guards,” who have set up many military camps in that area, then sealed the street where the attack occurred.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in al-Fallujah Sunday afternoon, flipping over Humvee.
In a dispatch posted at 6:05pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Sunday afternoon.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Grand Mosque of al-Fallujah as saying that a bomb exploded by a US patrol on al-Kurnish Street in the middle of town. The blast damaged a Humvee in the patrol, flipping it over. American troops closed off the area after the attack, making it impossible to ascertain the nature or extent of casualties.
Resistance mortars pound puppet “Iraqi National Guard” camp in al-Fallujah Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two mortar rounds at the Mushtaq Camp, a facility occupied by puppet “Iraqi National Guards” adjacent to the biggest US base in al-Fallujah late on Saturday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet policemen at the checkpoint by the eastern entrance to the city of al-Fallujah as saying that they heard the sound of two explosions coming from inside the camp near their checkpoint and then saw smoke rising from within the puppet facility.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column in al-Fallujah on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been placed in a frame in the paved medium on the main street opposite the Industrial Zone in al-Fallujah blew up by an American Zeal troop transport vehicle, completely destroying it. The blast killed three US troops and severely wounded four more. The witnesses said that in response to the attack, US troops opened fire indiscriminately around the area.

US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US soldier who was among those atop a watchtower overlooking the former Immigration and Civil Affairs building ﾐ now a US headquarters in downtown ar-Ramadi ﾐ took a direct hit in the head from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol near ‘Anah Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol near the city of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the main road linking ‘Anah with al-Hadithah blew up by a US patrol, severely damaging a Humvee. Afterwards, US troops closed off the area and let no one approach.
US troops continue to have all the entrances and exits to the city of ‘Anah closed on Sunday for the third straight day, having banned anyone from entering or leaving the city since Friday morning causing great difficulty for local residents.

Wild American gunfire kills three civilians in Hit market Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces came under light weapons fire in the eastern market in Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that although the attack was light, the Americans responded with heavy and wild firing in every direction, not only in the direction from where the incoming fire was coming. The indiscriminate US shooting killed three Iraqi civilians and wounded three more of hem.
The correspondent reported that one of the dead was the owner of a small kiosk in the market. Another person killed was a butcher whose shop happened to be there where the incident occurred in the middle of the old market near the main vegetable market in the city, under the walls of the old city citadel.
Abu Ghurayb.
Resistance bomb destroys US Humvee, killing crew in Abu Ghurayb Sunday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 2:27pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US patrol in the az-Zaytun neighborhood of Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad.
The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as sayign that the blast totally destroyed a Humvee, killing the soldiers who were aboard it and wounding three Iraqi civilians. US forces then surrounded and deployed in the area as two helicopter gun ships flew in over the neighborhood.

Resistance pounds puppet “Shock Troop” camp in southern Baghdad with heavy mortars on Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired several heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in southern Baghdad’s al-‘Amil neighborhood on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-‘Amil as saing that the shells scored direct hits on the puppet “Shock Troop” camp, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
Puppet “Deputy Interior Minister” survives Resistance attack.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off near al-Mustansiriyah University in eastern Baghdad by the passing motorcade of Halah Shaker, a puppet “Deputy Interior Minister for Financial Affairs” in the current US-backed puppet regime.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as claiming that the blast killed several civilians and wounded other people, including one of the puppet “Deputy Minister’s” bodyguards, but that the puppet official herself escaped injury.

Resistance bomb near Samarra’ Sunday afternoon leaves five US troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30pm Makkah time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in al-Bu Darraj region of the the al-Jazirah area near Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad at 4:30pm local time Sunday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported an officer in the Samarra’ puppet police as saying that the bomb completely destroyed one vehicle in the column, killing five US troops.

US troops release tribal leader after four days in custody for advocating the return of Saddam Husayn to office.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces released Shaykh Turki Hajim al-‘Ubaydi after having arrested him together with five members of his family in the village of ash-Shamsiyah south of Kirkuk in the Tuz Khurmatu area at dawn on Tuesday, 10 October.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who are close to the tribal leader as saying that the Shaykh was released on Saturday. The witnesses said that the Americans abducted Shaykh al-‘Ubaydi and his relatives after he made remarks calling for the return of Iraqi President Saddam Husayn to office.

US troops gun kill two Iraqi civilians, wound another following Resistance bomb attack in Jurf as-Sakhr Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:45pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the Jurf as-Sakhr area, about 40km south of Baghdad on Sunday.
The al-Hillah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that after the bomb exploded, the American troops began shooting indiscriminately around the entire area, killing two civilians and wounding a third. The source added that the Americans sealed off the area, making it impossible to ascertain the nature or extent of US casualties from the attack.

In a dispatch posted at 1:58pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious bomb exploded in the middle of the old market in al-Basrah on Sunday morning. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast wounded three people.
