Fierce fighting erupts in ar-Ramadi Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the time of writing fierce fighting was raging between Iraqi Resistance men and US occupation forces in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the battle erupted on 17 Street, the biggest street in the city, about a half an hour earlier. The Resistance was firing light and medium weapons and pipe rockets and had destroyed one US vehicle as of the time of reporting. The intensity of the combat was continuing to increase at that hour.
Al-Fallujah.
Heavy fighting reported in al-Fallujah Friday night.
In a dispatch posted at 1:55pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting broke out between Iraqi Resistance forces and US occupation troops in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Friday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Nuwwab ad-Dubbat neighborhood of the city as saying that the fighting erupted in the 40 street area after 10pm, that is, after the curfew came into force presumably banning car traffic and pedestrians from the streets. Witnesses said they heard powerful explosions coming from the eastern side of the city where there are numerous US and Iraqi puppet army checkpoints as well as the largest US base in the al-Fallujah area.
The witnesses reported hearing the sound of tanks and American tanks and armored vehicles driving toward the battle zone as helicopters and warplanes prowled the skies above at low altitude.
Al-Qa’im.
Resistance car bomber blasts puppet police in al-Qa’im.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a group of Iraqi puppet police and troops in al-Qa’im, near the Syrian border in western Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance fighter drove an explosives-laden car into the gathering of puppet police and troops near the football playing field in the city of al-Qa’im. The blast killed 12 puppet policemen and wounded six more as well.
Resistance bomb wounds US troops in al-Qa’im.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of al-Qa’im, near the Syrian border in western Iraq at 8am local time Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up, destroying a Humvee and wounding four US troops who were aboard it. Afterwards, the Americans surrounded the area.

Resistance bomb blasts US vehicle in Hit Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:14pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance land mine exploded by a US military vehicle in Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad at about 7pm local time Saturday evening.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb went off by a US vehicle on the main road to the citadel in the city. The blast disabled the vehicle, wounding four American troops. US soldiers then sealed off the area and hauled away the wreckage and evacuated the bodies. The area was still closed at the time the report was filed.
Resistance attack destroys American armored vehicle Friday night.
In a dispatch posted at 2:59pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the city of Hit, about 165km northwest of Baghdad.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Itfa’ neighborhood of eastern Hit as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up on Friday night as a US armored column was driving past. After the explosion, Resistance men armed fired a rocket at the same vehicle, completely destroying it.
The witnesses reported that several US troops were killed or wounded in the attack, due to the extent of damage. But an exact reckoning of the US looses was impossible because another US armored vehicle began firing indiscriminately and intensely around the area as American troops sealed off the zone.

“Dozens” of Americans reported killed in devastating Resistance attack on Falcon Forward Base Tuesday, 10 October; Americans accuse translators of leaking coordinates to Resistance.
US forces have begun accusing Iraqi translators working for the American occupation of leaking information to the Iraqi Resistance that facilitated the devastating Resistance attack on the Falcon Forward Base arsenal late on Tuesday night, 10 October.
A source in the Iraqi puppet army told Quds Press that US authorities have opened an investigation into the attack to try to determine how the Resistance obtained detailed information on the location of the arms and ammunition in the arsenal, which allowed them to carry out a strike with such precision.
The source told Quds Press: “the [American] forces are sure that two of the Iraqi translators who were working for them leaked information and gave particulars to the insurgents [meaning, to the Iraqi Resistance]. They [the Americans] have suspicions regarding a third translator who left the base one day before the attack and never joined up again.”
Quds Press noted that although the American authorities reported no casualties in the attack, the Iraqi source, who asked not to be identified, said that “dozens” of American soldiers were killed in the explosions that rocked the arsenal for hours Tuesday-Wednesday night. The source said that the US military have in their custody the bodies of six Iraqi translators who were killed in the blasts, and the Americans were refusing to release those remains to their families for reasons that remain unknown.
Resistance mortars target home of puppet “National Security Adviser.”
In a dispatch posted at 11:58pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar shells at the house of Muwaffaq ar-Rabi‘i, the US-installed “Iraqi National Security Adviser in Baghdad’s al-Kazimiyah district.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that two shells blasted into the house but the third missed its target and landed in a square where construction materials are sold some 300 meters away. It was not immediately known whether ar-Rabi‘i was at home during the attack.
Tortured bodies of 49 more victims of US-backed Shi‘i sectarian death squads found in Baghdad Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:08pm Makkah time Saturday night, (updating an earlier distpatch posted at 5:47pm Saturday afternoon), Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bodies of 49 Sunnis who had been tortured and murdered by US-backed Shi‘i sectarian death squads had been found on Saturday, according to a source in the Iraqi center for forensic medicine. Earlier on Saturday morning, Iraqi puppet police found the bodies of 25 Iraqi Sunnis who had been tortured and then shot to death.
In its earlier report the Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source as saying that the bodies of these latest victims of US-backed Shi‘i sectarian death squads were found in the districts of ash-Shu‘lah, at-Talibiyah, and Madinat Saddam ミ a district nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the American invasion of Iraq in spring 2003.
The source told Mafkarat al-Islam that one of the victims was the Imam of a mosque. As is now customary for the Shi ‘ sectarian death squads, they cut out the Imam’s tongue as a part of his torture.
Then Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source at the forensic medicine center, who asked not to be named, as saying that another 24 bodies were found at the heavy water treatment plant in Baghdad. These bodies showed signs of torture such as the cutting off of limbs, beating of the head with large hammers, scalding with boiling water. Some were killed by having a skewer hammered from their right ears through to their left.

In a dispatch posted at 2:45pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in Baghdad Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet security services who asked that his name not be used as saying that a bomb went off near a puppet police parol on al-Maghrib Street in the al-A‘zamiyah district of northern Baghdad. The source said that the bomb inflicted no material damage or casualties on the patrol. Afterwards puppet forces sealed off the area.
US transfers about 50 prisoners from Hit to Baghdad for interrogation and “trial.”
In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that during the last few days, US occupation authorities have transferred dozens of prisoners from the western Iraqi city of Hit to the American prison camp set up at Saddam International Airport outside Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces have transferred about 50 Iraqi prisoners who had been taken by the Americans in Hit and confined in the US ‘Ayn al-Asad Base ミ known before the US occupation as the al-Qadisiyah Air Base of the Iraqi military forces, located near al-Baghdadi, about 200km northwest of Baghdad.
All the prisoners were taken to the American prison camp at Saddam International Airport, where they are to be interrogated further and then put on “trial,” for opposing te American invasion and occupation of their country.
For about a month, the city of Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad, has witnessed a continuous campaign of US raids, searches, and arrests in the neighborhoods of al-Qal‘ah al-Jadidah, al-Mu‘allimin, al-Jabal, al-‘Ummal, and al-Qadisiyah. About 15 days ago, US forces raided the al-Khidr Mosque in al-Jabal and arrested dozens of worshippers whom they took away to a temporary prison at the train station west of Hit on the Baghdad ミ al-Qa’im line.
US technology companies help US military dispense with Arabic translators.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a Zionist website had reported that US occupation forces in Iraq were trying to minimize their use of Arabs as translators by introducing various new types of technological translating devices.
The Zionist Hebrew-language website “News First Class” as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam reported Saturday that informed military sources said that the US military would be receiving new technological systems to help them dispense with the need for Arab translators.
The US Special Forces are the first slated to receive the devices with will then be distributed to other American troops in Iraq. The devices are intended to provide immediate translation from Arabic to English and vice versa.
The Zionist website reported that the US military has been using one type of this device in Afghanistan known as the Phraselator and a new version called the IraqComm was being developed by the SRI International company. In addition another system called Mastor that performs a similar function is under development by IBM.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “Shock Troops” in Balad.
In a dispatch posted at 2:08pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in Balad, 80km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road went off by a vehicle belonging to the puppet “Shock Troops,” destroying it entirely and killing all the puppet troops who were aboard it ミ three or four men. Immediately after the blast the puppet “Shock Troops” closed off the area, making a more precise casualty count impossible.

Resistance bomb in ad-Dibis near Kirkuk leaves three US troops, Vietnamese translator reported dead Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:55pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol near Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported source in the puppet police in ad-Dibis who asked to remain anonymous as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road exploded by a US column in the area of ad-Dibis, 30km northwest of Kirkuk at precisely 10am local time Saturday morning.
The source said that the blast destroyed a US Humvee and killed three American troops an their Vietnamese translator.

Tall ‘Afar.
US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in Tall ‘Afar.
In a dispatch posted at 1:25pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot and killed a US soldier in Tall ‘Afar, about 55km west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was near the Tall ‘Afar santitation water treatment plant at 10am local time Saturday morning when one US soldier took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s gun, killing him instantly. Witnesses said that the Americans then carried out a widespread search but found no sign of the sharpshooter.
Al-Mawsil.
US occupation lifts curfew in al-Mawsil following fighting on Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces lifted the curfew that they had imposed after a series of Resistance attacks in the northern city of al-Mawsil. The US occupation forces and their Iraqi puppet “authorities” also announced the death of a lieutenant in the puppet police as a result of wounds received in the armed battles Friday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the curfew was lifted after relative calm returned to the city.

Resistance blasts puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops” with rockets and mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 10:47pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired mortar shells and rockets into the headquarters of the al-Karar Regiment of the puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in an-Nafaj al-Qadim.
The an-Najaf correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet so-called “Federal National Police” as saying that the barrage set fire to the facility. Fire fighters working to put out the blaze confirmed that there were dead and wounded in the attack.
