Resistance bomb destroys US four-wheel-drive vehicle killing five suspected American intelligence officers near al-Qa’im, Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 9:25pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a four-wheel drive vehicle on the main road linking Kubaysah with the city of al-Qa’im in western Iraq, near the Syrian border on Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses coming from Kubaysah as saying an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by the side of the Kubaysah - al-Qa’im Road (the “Strategic Road”) as an American armor-plated four-wheel drive vehicle carrying five US civilians, believed to be American intelligence officers, drove past. The blast caused the vehicle to burst into flames, destroying it with all the US personnel still inside. Witnesses noted that the other American vehicles that were accompanying the four-wheel drive car fled rather than stay on the scene to render aid to the stricken vehicle.
Eyewitnesses told the Mafarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Qa’im that afterwards, US troops arrived on the scene and called in Black Hawk helicopters that took away the bodies of the dead from the middle of the road.
Ar-Ramadi.
Fighting erupts in ar-Ramadi following a series of explosions Monday night.
In a bulletin posted at 11:20pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that powerful explosions had just rocked the area around 17 Street in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that following the blasts, fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance men and US troops. That combat was still under way at the time of reporting and the sound of US helicopters and warplanes flying into the area could be heard above the gunfire.
Resistance bomb leaves four US troops reported dead in ar-Ramadi Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:35pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of ar-Ramadi.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi’s ad-Dubbat neighborhood as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road went off by an American patrol at 8am local time Monday morning.
The blast totally destroyed an American Humvee, killing four US troops who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb near ‘Anah blasts US Humvee, leaving four American troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US Humvee in ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad at 5pm local time Monday afternoon.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb that had been planted by a dirt road in the Wadi al-Fuhaymi area to the south of ‘Anah went off, completely destroying the Humvee an killing the four American troops inside.

US troops make mass arrests at mosques in Hit at dawn Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:38pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces launched a new wave of mass arrests among religious people in the city of Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Americans raided and searched four mosques in the city of Hit during dawn prayers on Monday, arresting some 50 worshippers who ranged in age from 20 to 50 years.
The witnesses said that the US occupation forces gave no reason for why they were abducting the worshippers nor did they say how long they would be imprisoned.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance mortars pound US base east of al-Fallujah Sunday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 2:35pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six heavy 120mm mortar rounds at the US base located near the city of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Sunday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance barrage targeted the US base known as al-Mazra‘ah (“the Farm”) east of al-Fallujah. The mortar rounds were fired from three different positions ﾐ al-Jubayl, south of al-Fallujah; the al-Jumhuriyah neighborhood in the city, and the 40 Street district in the middle of the city. Two mortar shells were fired from each locations.
The witnesses said that plumes of smoke could be seen rising from inside the American-occupied base. As usual, the Americans made no disclosures regarding the nature or extent of casualties. On Monday morning, however, large numbers of US occupation troops appeared in al-Fallujah.
Three Resistance bombs blast US forces in as-Saqlawiyah Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:45pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by US troops in as-Saqlawiyah on Sunday, about 15km northwest of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the first bomb went off by a US foot patrol in the az-Zagharid area to the north of as-Saqlawiyah. American troops quickly sealed off the area, making information on the nature or extent of casualties unavailable.
American reinforcements rode into the area on several vehicles after the first explosion, whereupon the second bomb went off, disabling one of the Humvees bringing those reinforcements.
The source said that the third bomb went off by a US supply convoy near the Japanese Bridge north of as-Saqlawiyah on Sunday evening. That blast set one of the trucks in the convoy ablaze, destroying it.

In a dispatch posted at 3:15pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance fighters stormed the headquarters of the puppet security administration’s “Major Crimes” department in the western Baghdad district of al-‘Amiriyah.
The al-‘Amiriyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the sounds of combat, including violent gunfire could be heard coming from the headquarters as US military helicopter gun ships swarmed in overhead.
Residents on al-Munazzamah Street who were witnessing the fighting said that the puppet police fled from the headquarters building by clambering over the back wall around the facility. Some were wearing pajamas
Resistance mortars blast US “Green Zone” midday Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:52pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar rounds into the high security headquarters area set up by the Americans around the Republican Palace in Baghdad and dubbed by them the “Green Zone.”
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that three plumes of smoke close to one another could be seen rising over the facility.
Resistance sharpshooter kills Iraqi puppet “National Guardsman” Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:58pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet “National Guardsman” in Baghdad on Sunday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an Iraqi puppet “National Guard” unit was on patrol on Hayfa Street in Baghdad when one of the puppet “Guards” was struck and killed by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet. The puppet troops were unable to pinpoint where the shot had come from.

US soldier wounded by Resistance sharpshooter in al-Khalis.
In a dispatch posted at 3:18pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter seriously wounded a US soldier in al-Khalis, about 60km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US soldier was standing at a checkpoint in the al-Karamah neighborhood of al-Khalis when he was struck by a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet in the chest. The shot did not kill the soldier, who was quickly evacuated to a US base in the area. The witnesses said that in response to the marksman’s shot, the American troops opened fire indiscriminately around the area but no civilians were injured.

Members of US Marine Special Forces accused of sexual assault on three Iraqi puppet troops.
In a dispatch posted at 5:35pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported an Iraqi medical source as saying that US Special Forces troops operating in the area of an-Najaf sexually assaulted three Iraqi puppet soldiers there.
The an-Najaf correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the medical source, who asked that his name not be used, as saying that a number of US Marines in a Special Tasks Unit sexually assaulted three Iraqi puppet troops when they were in the joint US-Iraqi puppet army base in the Bahr an-Najaf area on Sunday night.
The source said that the three Iraqi puppet troops were taken secretly and under cover secretly after the Americans’ attack because one of them was in unstable condition.
The Director of the Mafkarat al-Islam bureau in Baghdad observed that rape by American soldiers of Iraqi troops is widespread in all the bases that are jointly shared by US and Iraqi puppet troops. The Mafkarat al-Islam bureau chief observed that hardly a week goes by without American troops being proved guilty of such assaults. The US-installed puppet regime, however, blacks out all reports of such incidents.

Resistance car bomb explodes in al-Mawsil, leaving three US troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a joint column of US occupation troops and their Kurdish separatist Peshmergah allies in the al-Ba‘‘aj district near al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the car bomb killed or wounded 12 troops in the joint column. Of those three of the dead were US troops and in addition there were several Peshmergah gunmen killed and wounded.
Captain Ibrahim ‘Ali told the correspondent that because the column was moving slowly, the number of casualties in the blast was higher than it would have been if the column were moving more rapidly. The puppet Captain said that one US Humvee and two Peshmergah vehicles were destroyed in the attack.
Tall ‘Afar.
Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier on patrol in Tall ‘Afar Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:55pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the Tall ‘Afar area, about 55km west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was moving through the shops of cotton carders in the as-Saray neighborhood at about 9am local time Monday morning when one of the American troops took a direct hit in the head from an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly. The witnesses said that the US troops immediately closed off the area and began searching the area where they arrested five local civilians.
Resistance car bomb kills puppet policeman in Tall ‘Afar Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:29am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into an Iraqi puppet security roadblock in Tall ‘Afar, west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq Monday morning.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the carbomb exploded by a barricade near the puppet police directorate in the al-Qadisiyah neighborhood of Tall ‘Afar, killing one puppet policeman and wounding two more of them.
The source said that one of the puppet policemen at the checkpoint opened fire at the car as it rushed towards the roadblock. The result was that the car exploded early but killed the puppet policeman who had opened fire.
