Resistance pounds US base in al-Hadithah with rockets and mortars Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 9:40pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired more than 15 mortar rounds and rockets in a violent barrage on the American base located in the city of al-Hadithah near the al-Hadithah dam, about 220km northwest of Bagdhad. The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that as of the time of reporting the Resistance had fired more than 15 rockets and mortar shells setting fires raging inside the American occupied base and sending smoke rising into the sky as helicopters prowled the skies above at a high altitude.

Massive bomb east of Hit leaves six US troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 2:19pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-laden car into a US military column in the al-Muhammadi area east of Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Hit puppet police as saying that the car bomb went off by a US column as it passed near shops selling greens. The source said that the bomb destroyed one American vehicle and disabled a second. Six American troops were killed and five more wounded in the massive blast.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 1:48pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in ar-Ramadi 110km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the road, blew up by a US patrol in the at-Ta’mim neighborhood of ar-Ramadi, disabling a Humvee and wounding the four American troops who were aboard it.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance fighters battle massive US force in al-Fallujah Saturday night.
In a dispatch posted at 9:45pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces were engaged in a fierce battle with a large US force to the south of al-Fallujah. The battle had begun about an hour earlier and was still underway at the time of reporting.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 30 Resistance men were battling with a US force near the al-Anbiya’ Mosque in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood.
The sounds of massive explosions and intense gunfire echoed around the area as fires burned in the battle zone. No details about casualties on either side were available because of the difficulty of getting near the area.
Resistance blasts joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters in al-Karmah Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by US and Iraqi puppet troops located in al-Karmah, north of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance barrage targeted the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters set up in what formerly was a food storage facility. Plumes of smoke could be seen rising over the headquarters after the attack.
US troops then immediately surrounded the as-Subayhat area east of al-Karmah, claiming that was where the rockets were launched. They conducted raids and arrests of many local residents.

Bodies of 53 more victims of pro-American security forces and Shi‘i sectarian gangs found tortured and murdered in 24 hour period in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:19pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi puppet police had found 53 bodies of tortured and murdered victims of the Shi‘i sectarian gangs that serve the US occupation and the puppet regime installed by the Americans. The gruesome discoveries have all been made within the previous 24 hours, the correspondent reported, adding that the bodies were found in three districts of Baghdad where they had been shot en masse.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police in the as-Salihiyah district who asked that his name not be used as saying that five of the victims were shot to death in the puppet police station in the Baghdad district of Madinat Saddam, nicknamed Madinat as-Sadr after the American invasion. Their bodies were then thrown down at the intersection with the Canal in Baghdad. The source said that all the bodies bore clear signs of torture, including beatings, broken bones, and burns.
Earlier, in a dispatch posted at 5pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet police discovered the tortured and mangled body of Shaykh ‘Umar al-‘Isawi, the Imam of the Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Mosque in southern Baghdad who had been arrested by the American-backed puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) two days earlier.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the al-Kifah puppet police as saying that the body was found by accident as it had been dumped in a basin of discarded oil and grease. The police only noticed the body when they saw dogs trying to drag the hand of the corpse out of the grease pit. After the puppet police retrieved the body it was determined that the tongue of the Shaykh had been cut out and he had been sexually assaulted. He was also otherwise subjected to savage torture.
Resistance bomb targets US patrol in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 3:11pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the northern Baghdad district of al-A‘zamiyah.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb, which was detonated by remote control, exploded by a US patrol on al-Maghrib Street in the district. The Americans sealed off the entire area after the blast and no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

US locks down ad-Dulu‘iyah after Resistance bomb reportedly kills two American troops.
In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported US forces had imposed a curfew on the city of ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad, on Saturday morning. In addition, the Americans sealed off the city, closing all four of its entrances. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a resident of the al-Mishkan area near ad-Dulu‘iyah as saying that the Americans locked down the city because a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb had gone off near US troops in the area. Two US troops were killed in the explosion and six US and Iraqi puppet army soldiers were wounded.

Resistance fighters assault puppet army checkpoint in al-Ishaqi Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet army troops south of al-Ishaqi, about 85km north of Baghdad on Friday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Resistance men attacked the checkpoint, sparking a firefight that lasted for about half an hour. The source said that one Resistance fighter was killed and four Iraqi puppet troops were wounded. The remainder of the Resistance men then withdrew from the area. In an unrelated incident, troops of the 3rd Battalion of the Iraqi puppet army shot and seriously wounded a woman when they raided her house in the city of Balad, about 70km north of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by US and puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad at dawn on Friday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that he sound of explosions was heard from inside the facility and plumes of smoke billowed up from it following the barrage.

Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet reportedly kills US soldier in Ba‘qubah Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the city of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad, at 10am local time Saturday morning. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US foot patrol was in the at-Tahrir neighborhood of Ba‘qubah when one a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet struck one of the US soldiers directly in the head, killing him instantly.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guard” patrol near al-Hillah Friday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol on the main road northwest of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the al-Hillah puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road to Imam Ways in the al-Musayyib area went off on Friday afternoon, destroying a patrol vehicle and killing one puppet “National Guard” and wounding a second who were aboard it.

US launches campaign of mass raids, arrests near Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 11pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops accompanied by the Iraqi puppet army allies launched a new campaign of raids and arrests of residents of the northern Iraqi city of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk and in nearby towns and villages.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans were calling their new wave of raids and arrests “Operation Key of Security” and that as of the time of reporting 155 local citizens had been abducted by the Americans. The prisoners range in age from 17 to 50 years and all were arrested in the areas of al-Hawijah, at-Ta’mim and the villages of al-‘Ubayd and al-Jabbur.
The correspondent reported that the Americans were targeting merchants, teachers, peasants and regular Mosque worshippers in the mass arrests, but people were being rounded up indiscriminately, without reference to any list of names and without relying on any intelligence information, as sometimes is the case.

Resistance car bomber blasts puppet army patrol in Tall ‘Afar.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a puppet army patrol near a checkpoint in the Tall ‘Afar area, about 55km west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a Resistance car bomber blasted into a puppet army patrol near their checkpoint in the as-Salam neighborhood. The explosion killed four Iraqi puppet army troops and wounded four more of them.
