25 US Puppets Slain in Afghanistan

Taliban attacked a check post in Sokai district of Kunar province last night (October 4) which turned into a gun battle. Eight puppet soldiers were killed during the clash and Taliban seized two kalashinkovs, two rockets and one machinegun according to AIP.

Last night Taliban attacked Yahkhchal and Band Barak posts post in Gereshk district of Helmand province, killing and wounding 17 soldiers while Taliban did receive any damage.
�
Meanwhile, NATO took over control of eastern Afghanistan from the U.S.-led occupation Thursday according to IRIB.
�
The U.S., with 13,250 troops, will remain the biggest occupation troops to the 33,000-strong force.
�
Of the 41,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan, only 8,000 U.S. troops will function outside NATO control.
