Hit.
US troops burst into Hit General Hospital, arrest hospital director, four doctors on Monday night, accusing them of giving medical treatment to Resistance fighters.
In a dispatch posted at 2:34pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces stormed into Hit General Hospital on Monday night and arrested the hospital director and a number of doctors.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported hospital workers as saying that American troops broke down the doors and burst into the hospital during the night. The barbarically smashed windows and then arrested Dr. Yasin Hammudi ‘Assaf, the Dircetor of Hit General Hospital and four other doctors.
The witnesses said that the Americans’ excuse for the abductions was that Iraqi Ressitnce men had been given treatment at the hospital, though a search by the Americans turned up no Resistance fighters nor any evidence that any had ever received treatment.
Mafkarat al-Islam noted that Dr. ‘Assaf is the only surgeon left at the hospital and has been the only surgeon there for more than one year.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance pounds US base in ar-Ramadi with mortars Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:47pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage into the US occupation headquarters in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the headquarters that the Americans had set up in the former an-Nasr Sports Club took direct hits from a number of mortar shells. One round blasted into a Humvee parked in the compound, totally destroying it.
Al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 8:04pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked one of several US military columns in eastern al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Nuwwab ad-Dubbat ath-Thaniyah neighborhood as saying that more than 15 Iraqi Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons including rocket-propelled grenades and RPK machineguns, assaulted the US column on ath-Tharthar Street immediately after the call to the afternoon prayer was broadcast from mosques.
The attack set one American Humvee ablaze and killed two US troops according to one of the worshippers in the al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah Mosque. The Americans responded to the attack with random shooting at civilian cars in the area. They then closed the main ath-Tharthar street.
Initially the Americans withdrew, but then they came back to the same area with heavy reinforcements. These troops for the first time occupied the building of the al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah Islamic School, since it is a large and tall building that overlooks four streets. It is also the largest Islamic school in the city. The Americans posted snipers atop the school building who then began indiscriminately shooting at pedestrians on the street below. One local person was killed and three more wounded in the random American shooting spree, including a woman. The shooting also effectively closed the road there.
As a result of the American sniper position residents of the neighborhoods of al-Jaghifi and ash-Shurtah are now having a hard time getting home.
Hundreds of demonstrators in al-Fallujah continue to protest US death sentence for Saddam Husayn.
In a dispatch posted at 2:24pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that demonstrations filled the streets of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad again on Tuesday as protestors continued to denounce the American death sentence issued on Sunday for the Iraqi President Saddam Husayn and two other imprisoned Iraqi officials.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that hundreds of angry and outraged protestors in the al-Jaffah rallied against the “verdict.” The correspondent reported that the protestors said that the sentence came from the desks of the occupation and its puppet regime, despite the pretence that it was a ruling by a legal “court.” Most residents of the al-Jaffah area are members of the al-Fallahat and al-Bu ‘Isa tribes.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in western al-Fallujah early Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:51am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in western al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad, at about 7am local time Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb was planted by the side of the main road in al-Fallujah near the new bridge. The blast damaged a US vehicle. No further details on the nature or extent of casualties or damage were available because US troops closed off the area immediately after the attack, as is their habit.
Bomb kills civilians in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:44am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted near the al-Fallujah secondary school for girls in the al-Andalus neighborhood of the city went off at about 9am local time Tuesday morning.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb, though apparently intended for American patrols that pass through the area killed only two local civilians and wounded others.
Abu Ghurayb.
US carries out mass raids, searches, and arrests in Abu Ghurayb Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:41am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a massive force of US occupation troops were at the time of reporting surrounding the Khan Darri and as-Samilat areas of Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad.
All of Abu Ghurayb is under curfew and all streets linking the area with Baghdad to the east and al-Fallujah to the west have been closed.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops were carrying out house-to-house raids and searchers in the area and had so far arrested dozens of innocent local residents.

Resistance fighters battle US occupation troops in Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district Tuesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance men and US occupation soldiers in the al-‘Amiriyah area of western Baghdad.
The al-‘Amiriyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the fighting was centered around al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street and al-‘Asl Street in the district and that violent explosions were going off and gunfire could be heard. Mosques in the area have begun broadcasting chants of Allahu akbar! “God is greatest!” and prayers to encourage the Resistance men.

Al-Latifiyah.
Resistance bombards US base in al-Latifiyah Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 12:36pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of 82mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters in the city of al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad on Monday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bombardment produced powerful explosions inside the base and sent flames and plumes of smoke risin over the facility.
Al-Mahawil.
Resistance attacks puppet police station in al-Mahawil Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:05am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a puppet police station in al-Mahawil, about 65km south of Baghdad on Monday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Resistance men attacked the puppet police station 15km north of al-Hillah sparking a gun battle that lasted more than 20 minutes. The source gave no details regarding the nature or extent of casualties or damage.

Kirkuk.
Resistance fighters kill Iraqi puppet policeman in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 3:25pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance men shot and killed an Iraqi puppet policeman.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police assaying that fighters shot and killed a puppet policeman who worked out of the puppet police station in ‘Arafah in northern Kirkuk. The attack occurred near his home in the city’s ‘Arafah district.
Meanwhile unknown armed men abducted a teacher, Muhammad Subhi as he was heading to work in a village in the ar-Rashad district, 35km west of Kirkuk. His fate was unknown at the time of writing.

Al-Mawsil.
Curfew lifted in Ninwa Province.
In a dispatch posted at 11:08am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a puppet security source announced that the curfew that had been imposed on Ninwa Province Sunday in anticipation of trouble following the announcement of the US death sentence on Iraqi President Saddam Husayn had been lifted.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the source as saying that the puppet governor Muhammad Durayd Kashmulah declared late on Monday night that the curfew was being lifted as of Tuesday morning.
Three Resistance fighters reported killed while planting bomb in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 10:51am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three Iraqi Resistance fighters were killed while trying to plant a bomb in the northern Iraqi city of al-Mawsil.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the bomb went off while the three men were trying to plant it in the al-Muthanna area in northerastern al-Mawsil.
