Resistance bomb in al-Fallujah reportedly kills two US troops Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:02pm Makkah time midday Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded one after the other by a US patrol in the an-Nu‘aymiyah area of eastern al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in an-Nu‘aymiyah as saying that two bombs that had been planted by a dirt road linking the “Four Houses” area with the Highway blew up in succession by a patrol of three US Humvees on Thursday morning.
The explosions went off by the third Humvee in the American patrol, totally destroying it and killing two US troops and wounding others.
After the attack, US troops closed the highway and the road to the “Four Houses” area and it was still sealed off at the time of reporting.
Resistance bomb kills puppet “National Guards” in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:45am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet “National Guard” patrol in al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb placed in a garbage container in the ash-Shuhada’ section in southern al-Fallujah went off by a foot patrol of puppet “National Guards.” The blast killed two of the puppet “Guards” and severely wounded a third. Afterwards, the puppet “National Guards” surrounded the area and arrested two construction workers from a home site adjacent to where the bomb went off.
Unknown armed men kill Colonel in pre-invasion Iraqi Air Force in al-Fallujah Wednesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men killed a former officer in the Iraqi Army from before the US invasion in an attack in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that masked men armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles opened fire on former Air Force Colonel Karji Ibrahim as-Subayhi in front of his home in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of al-Fallujah at about 6:30pm Wednesday afternoon, about a half hour before sunset, killing him instantly.

Resistance bomb kills four US troops in western Baghdad Thursday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:42pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US patrol opposite the ash-Sharif wa-al-‘Isa Commercial Complex in Baghdad on Thursday afternoon.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an explosives-packed car that had bee left by the side of the road went off as a US patrol passed by in the middle of the street. The explosion destroyed a Humvee, killing four US troops who were aboard it. Witnesses said they saw the four bodies burning inside the wreckage of the American vehicle.
A source in the Iraqi puppet army acknowledged that four US troops were killed in the Thursday afternoon bomb attack and added that American soldiers surrounded al-‘Amiriyah and closed the entire length of al-‘Amal ash-Sha ‘bi Street where they arrested a number of shopkeepers and interrogated others.
Bodies of 61 torture murder victims found in various parts of Baghdad as US-Zionist-backed effort to split Iraq along religious and ethnic lines continues.
In a dispatch posted at 4:36pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier the puppet “Iraqi Ministry of Health” issued a statement saying that the number of bodies that had been discovered in the preceding 24-hour period was 61, but made no mention of further details such as their identities or backgrounds.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the statement, a copy of which he had obtained, said that the victims had all bee severely tortured before being murdered. The bodies were found in various districts of the occupied Iraqi capital.
An Iraqi medical source said earlier on Thursday afternoon that Baghdad hospitals had receive dozens of bodies of Sunni Iraqis who had been murdered by Shi‘i sectarian militias.
US troops greet new school year by abducting elementary school children of Resistance fighters.
In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that on Thursday morning, US troops raided a large number of elementary schools in parts of Baghdad where Resistance activity is particularly pronounced and abducted school children whose relatives are believed to be involved in the Iraqi Resistance.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam, who was covering the start of the school year, reported that according to the puppet “Iraqi Ministry of Education” about 51 percent of the children who showed up for school were Sunni.
US troops for their part, greeted the new school year in their own way, raiding more than 15 elementary schools in Baghdad. The director of one of the primary schools told the correspondent that the Americans stormed into the schools located in the Sunni areas where the Resistance is particularly active. He said that US troops brought with them presents and stationery made in the USA and “Israel.”
The school director, who asked to remain anonymous, said that US officers who were with the force went among the ranks of the students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades giving them gifts and asking each one of them their names and what their father and brothers, if any, did for a living. The school director said that the American officer would ask the students, “which one of you likes the Mujahideen?” and “who has a father, brother, or uncle who is a Mujahid, so that we can make him an example for his class?”
The director said that one of the teachers objected to the questioning and told the children, “Don’t any one answer those questions!” The Americans then took the teacher to the schoolyard where they beat him unconscious.
The director said that the US troops abducted one 1st grade student after he innocently told them that his father is a commander of a jihadi detachment. The director said he had no knowledge of what became of the child after the Americans took him away.
US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in Baghdads al-A‘zamiyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 12:52pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the al-A‘zamiyah district of northern Baghdad on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter who was hidden in the area shot and killed a US soldier who was standing at a regular checkpoint on ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Street in the middle of al-A‘zamiyah. The witnesses said that the soldier took a direct hit in the head, killing him instantly. US forces then completely closed off the area.
Four US troops wounded in Resistance bombing in al-Yarmuk Thursday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the Baghdad area of al-Yarmuk on Thursday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb exploded by the side of the road in front of the Ibn Taymiyah Mosque in al-Yarmuk as an American column was driving past at 9am local time Thursday morning.
The explosion heavily damaged one of the patrol vehicles, wounding the four troops aboard.
Resistance bomb targets puppet police in downtown Baghdad midday Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:35pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol on as-Sa‘dun Street in central Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet security forces quickly cordoned off the area preventing any details on the nature of the blast leaking out to the media.
Sunnis take back mosque occupied by Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen two days earlier.
In a dispatch posted at 12:21pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Sunnis in the al-‘Amil district of western Baghdad retook the Mosque of the al-‘Asharah al-Mubashsharin bi-al-Jannah after it had been occupied by Shi‘i sectarian gunmen of the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia on Tuesday, 26 September.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that local Sunnis attacked the mosque in the early hours of dawn Thursday. They clashed with the Shi‘i sectarian occupiers and drove them off, killing two of them.
The Sunnis then tore down the portraits of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian leaders Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani and Muqtada as-Sadr and gave the call to the dawn prayer. Local Sunni residents have now taken up position atop the roof of the mosque so as to defend it against possible new assaults by the Shi‘i sectarian gangs.
Resistance car bomber blasts into puppet army camp in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 12:08pm Makkah time midday Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into an Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Resistance car bomber blasted into the entrance of a camp belonging to the Iraqi puppet army in the ash-Sha‘b district in northeastern Baghdad. The source said that the blast killed four Iraqi puppet troops and wounded 11 more, some of them severely.
Unknown armed men gun down head of Sunni school in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:48am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men shot and killed the director of a Sunni school in the western al-‘Amiriyah section of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that masked men killed Dr. Bakr Hashim on Thursday morning, one of the first days in the current new academic year. The witnesses said that Dr Hashim was struck by four bullets in his head and chest at the door of the school, filling the students in the al-Andalus School with fear.

Resistance bombs rip through US supply convoy near Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a convoy hauling supplies to US occupation forces near the city of Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the two bombs, which were planted by the side of the road, blew up by a large US supply convoy at the al-Fallujah crossroads near Samarra’.
The correspondent reported the source as saying that the explosions completely burned up two fuel tankers. No information on the drivers was available.

Bomb targets puppet police in Tikrit late Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol on the road to the al-Bu Hayazi‘ area of Tikrit, about 180km north of Baghdad, late on Wednesday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosion killed two puppet policemen and wounded two more of them, one of those severely.

Resistance blasts US-occupied al-Bakr Air Base with mortars Wednesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US-occupied al-Bakr Air Base near Yathrib, about 70km north of Baghdad on Wednesday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the base, which the Americans have dubbed “Camp Anaconda,” sending plumes of smoke billowing up from the facility. American helicopters were seen hovering over the area immediately after the attack.

Resistance car bomber kills four Kurdish mercenaries in attack on US base in Kirkuk Thursday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 9:44pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into the main gate of Kirkuk airport, a facility that US forces have turned into their local base. The attack took place at 6:30pm local time, about half an hour before sunset Thursday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance attacker destroyed the gate and killed four Kurdish mercenaries working for the American occupation and wounded five more of them. All were part of a detail guarding the base along with American troops.

British, Iraqi puppet forces launch sweep to retake control of al-Basrah from Shi‘i sectarian militias.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a British military spokesman announced in al-Basrah that British troops would be carrying out an operation to reassert “security” over the city.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Tony Dunlop, a British officer, disclosed that the operation was being carried out by British troops together with their Iraqi puppet army allies under the code name “as-Sindibad” and that its aim was to, as he put it, “construct the city and return to the natural state of security.”
Dunlop said that 1,000 British troops and 2,000 Iraqi puppet soldiers were carrying out the operation, adding that they were pursuing Shi‘i militias ﾐ whom he called “terrorists.” Those pro-Iranian militias had been controlling “security” in the city since the start of the year.
Iraqi puppet officials and also western occupation officials have made frequent references to violations of “security” by the puppet police in al-Basrah, a force dominated by the Shi‘i sectarian militias that support the occupation as a step towards expanding Shi‘i sectarian rule and Iranian domination over southern and eastern Iraq. Operation “as-Sindibad” follows numerous smaller British operations in which commanders of the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia were arrested and large quantities of arms and ammunition supplied to them by Iran were confiscated.
