Three US troops reported killed in Tuesday morning Resistance bombing in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in al-Fallujah on Tuesday morning. The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road went off by a US patrol in the ash-Shari‘ al-Jadid area near the al-Fallujah Municipality building. The witnesses reported that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding a fourth.

As Resistance attacks increase, US troops in al-Fallujah vent their rage by vandalizing cars in local parking lot.

In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that following a rise in Resistance attacks on US forces, American troops vented their frustrations by vandalizing local civilian cars in the streets of the city on Monday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that American troops stormed onto a parking lot in the 40 Street area in the middle of the city and smashed the glass of several cars and then set some of them on fire. The witnesses said that the Americans also set on fire two guard stations at the parking lot.

Resistance ambush in al-Fallujah leaves two US troops reported killed Monday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the an-Nazal neighborhood of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad on Monday evening.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons ambushed the US patrol near the ‘Abd al-‘Aziz as-Samarra’i Mosque, disabling one Humvee and killing two US troops and wounding three more of them. The witnesses indicated that the Americans, as usual responded to the attack by opening fire hysterically and indiscriminately around the area, setting on fire a civilian car that was parked nearby.

Resistance battles US troops in al-Fallujah for two hours, setting two Humvees ablaze.

In a dispatch posted at 11:11am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out a powerful attack on US troops in the middle of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad. The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men armed with rocket-propelled grenades ambushed a patrol of several US Humvees in the al-Mu‘tasim neighborhood near Madinat al-Al‘ab “Sport City” in the middle of al-Fallujah. They set fire to two Humvees in the course of the fighting that lasted more than two hours.

Some of the witnesses said tat the US troops were unable even to approach one of the burning vehicles, making it probable that four American troops had been killed inside or at least severely injured. Then in addition, there were US soldiers killed or wounded inside the second Humvee that was hit. The Americans did call in the al-Fallujah Fire Department, however which sent a fire truck to extinguish the blaze in the US vehicles but when the truck arrived, the Americans asked the firemen not to carry out those orders.

The witnesses said that the American troops killed two of the firemen and wounded a third in revenge for the long time it took them to show up on the scene of the burning vehicles. That severe reaction, the witnesses believed, indicated that the American side must have suffered severe injuries if not deaths in the course of the battle.

Ar-Ramadi.

US aircraft destroy four vacant houses in ar-Ramadi Monday night.

In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US warplanes carried out air raids in which they destroyed four houses in the middle of ar-Ramadi late on Monday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US fighter-bombers struck one house in the al-Andalus neighborhood and three in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood. No one was killed or injured in the raids because all the houses were vacant at the time.

Resistance mortars blast US base west of Hit Monday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 10:54am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US base in western Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad, on Monday evening. The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the shells struck the building used by the occupation forces as a base, what formerly was the Teachers

Training Institute next to the Indusstrial Zone of the city on the road that runs west from Hit towards al-Hadithah ﾐ a road that has been closed for more than a year. Witnesses said that the barrage set a fire raging inside the US base and sent plumes of smoke rising over the facility.

Baghdad.

Iraqi Resistance car bomb blasts passing American column in western Baghdad midday Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:08pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had blown up by a US military column in western Baghdad. The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosives-laden car had been parked by the side of the highway in the adh-Dhi’b al-Abyad area of western Baghdad.

The witnesses, motorists who were stuck on the road after the Americans shut it down following the attack, said that a Mercedes car had been parked by the side of the road with the hood raised. A damaged tire was placed next to the car, suggesting that it was simply a case of a flat tire. But when the American column drove past, the car bomb exploded, destroying one Humvee and disabling a second. At least eight US troops were killed or wounded in the blast, witnesses reported.

Ba‘qubah.

Puppet police major killed in Ba‘qubah Monday.

In a dispatch posted at 11:33am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed an officer in the Iraqi puppet police in Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad, on Monday.

The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns shot and killed Major ‘Ali Ahmad of the General Immigration and Travel section of the puppet police forces in Ba‘qubah. The attack took place in the al-Aswad district on the main road near the city and the puppet police said that while the major was killed instantly and that one of his bodyguards was also wounded.

Kirkuk.

Resistance bombs target puppet police and army in Kirkuk Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out a series of coordinated attacks on Iraqi puppet army and police forces in the northern city of Kirkuk on Tuesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol in the middle of Kirkuk, killing one puppet soldier and wounding a second and damaging a patrol vehicle.

Then a second bomb exploded before noon Tuesday, the source said, by the motorcade in which the puppet police chief in Kirkuk was riding ﾐ Major General Turhan Muhammad ﾐ near the al-Qawriyah puppet police station. The puppet police chief survived the attack but one of his guards was wounded. Then a third Resistance bomb blasted a puppet police patrol that headed out from the al-Qawriyah station to the scene of the attack on the General’s motorcade. A patrol vehicle and two puppet policemen were wounded in that blast.
