Taliban Destroyed 4 ISAF Vehicles

Taliban attacked a patrol of occupation forces near Gardez, capital of Paktia province last night (September 24). Four vehicles were destroyed in the attack and all the coalition troops onboard were killed.
Taliban killed five puppet soldiers during an attack on the post of Afghan troops in Kajal Burj area of Khugyani district in eastern Ningarhar province last night (Sept. 23).
Taliban on Sunday (Sept. 24) dismissed ISAF claim of killing over 30 fighters in southern Helmand province as false. The ISAF's claim of killing over 30 Taliban in different districts of Helmand is false, spokesman of Taliban fighters, Qari Muhammad Yousaf told Afghan Islamic Press by phone from an undisclosed location. He stated that only to Taliban were wounded during the last 24 hours in Helmand. These two Taliban were in a gun battle with foreign troops after Taliban attacked them Gereshk district of Helmand province, he said, adding that except this incident, no other clash or incident was happened in Gereshk, Sangin, and Garmser districts.
When Afghan Islamic Press contacted residents of Sangin, they expressed ignorance about any such incident. However, a resident told AIP that foreign troops opened firing on a local vehicle crossing Sangin Manda Bridge near Sangin bazaar yesterday afternoon (Sept. 23), wounding two labourers. He said the injured were the sons of Noor Ali Aqa and Abdul Ahad Aqa. The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and a provincial official in separate statements said that over 30 fighters were killed in Gereshk, Garmser and Sangin districts of Helmand province on Sept. 22 and 23.
