Al-Habbaniyah.
Resistance blasts US al-Habbaniyah base with 11 Grad and Katyusha rockets.
In a dispatch posted at 5:59pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired more than 11 Grad and Katyusha rockets into the US base in al-Habbaniyah, about 70km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the al-Hadbah military airfield ﾐ as it was known before the American invasion ﾐ took hits from more than 11 rockets, sending plumes of smoke into the sky. The US forces responded to the rocket barrage by firing heavy artillery, killing two civilians and wounding three more of them.
Ar-Ramadi.
Storm of mortar shells rains down on US ar-Ramadi base in massive dawn bombardment by Iraqi Resistance.
In a dispatch posted at 11:13am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a massive bombardment of the main US base in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad at dawn on Friday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Iraqi Resistance blasted the American al-Warrar base located to the west of ar-Ramadi with more than 30 heavy 120mm mortar shells.
Witnesses in the neighborhoods of at-Ta’mim and as-Siramik told Mafkarat al-Islam that they could see fire and tongues of flame rising over the base as soon as the intense Resistance barrage began. American helicopters and warplanes flew in over the area where sirens wailed in the early morning sky.
Al-Fallujah.
Puppet “Iraqi National Guards” shoot and kill nine boys following Resistance bomb attack in al-Fallujah Thursday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:02am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet “National Guard” killed nine boys and wounded eight others who were playing on Thursday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by puppet “National Guards” near the as-Su’dud School in central al-Fallujah, destroying a military pickup and killing four puppet “Guards.” The puppet troops then opened fire indiscriminately, around the area cutting down the boys who were playing ball nearby, the oldest of whom was 16. Seven boys died on the scene, two passed away later as a result of their wounds and another eight were injured by the puppet “Guards” gunplay, according to a medical source in al-Fallujah.

US warplane destroys bridge over Euphrates River Thursday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US warplane rocketed a bridge over the Euphrates River that links the city of al-Baghdadi, about 200km northwest of Baghdad, with the village of Jiyyah. The attack took place on Thursday evening.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US fighter-bomber fired two rockets at the old pontoon bridge ﾐ the only one in the area, linking the two sides of the River, known as the al-Jazirah and the ash-Shamiyah side.
The correspondent reported that the air raid destroyed parts of the bridge, rendering it unusable.
Abu Ghurayb.
Massive US military force drives west into al-Anbar Province late Friday morning.
In a bulletin posted at 11:15am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that massive American military columns were spotted in Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad, heading west into al-Anbar Province under air cover from squadrons of US fighter-bombers and Apache helicopter gunships.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that more than 122 Humvees, armored Humvees, personnel carriers, and Abrams tanks had rolling past into al-Anbar Province along the International Highway just minutes before his report was filed. As the column of military vehicles drove through the area, US helicopters flew at low altitude over the convoy and American troops closed the road to traffic while they passed through the area. US forces were, in fact, imposing temporary curfews on every city and town through which the American convoy was passing on its way into the western Iraqi province.
In a dispatch posted at 8:14pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Staff Brigadier Genral Ahmad ‘Abd as-Salam at-Tamimi, the puppet army commander for the western region of occupied Iraq, told journalists that the boost of US troop strength in al-Anbar consisted merely of reinforcements who were coming to provide back-up and support for US forces in such places in the province as ar-Ramadi, al-Fallujah, and al-Qa’im.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the puppet general as saying at a press conference that the local population had no reason to fear a major American offensive.
Baghdad.
Resistance men battle US troops in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 11:33am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the time of reporting, fighting was underway between Iraqi Resistance men and US occupation troops accompanied by Iraqi puppet policemen in the Baghdad district of al-A‘zamiyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the fighting was raging around the Abu Hanifah an-Nu‘man Mosque in the district. No further details were immediately available.
Bodies of 51 more victims of sectarian murder found in Baghdad as effort continues to break up Iraq on sectarian lines.
A total of 51 bodies of Iraqis tortured and murdered in sectarian killings carried out by pro-American Shi‘isectarian militias had been found in various parts of Baghdad as of 1pm local time Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:19am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet police discovered the bodies of 32 Iraqi Sunnis who had been murdered and then dumped in various parts of occupied Baghdad. Twenty-five of the bodies were found in the Madinat Saddam section of Baghdad ﾐ an area with a large Shi‘i population that was nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the American occupation of the country and is now a stronghold of the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source as saying that other bodies were found in the Madinat ash-Shu‘lah district of Baghdad.
Three of the dead were men who collected electricity fees. They were murdered in “Madinat as-Sadr” after local sectarians realized that they were Sunnis.
Then in a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the number of bodies of Sunnis found killed in the latest sectarian murders had risen to 51 as of 1pm local time Friday, as a result of more corpses that were discovered in the morning hours. All the victims had been tortured and then killed.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source in the Forensic Medical hospital said that about 20 more bodies had been brought in after the earlier arrival of 32. Some of the bodies belonged to youths.
The puppet “Health Ministry” over which a member of the Jaysh al-Mahdi movement loyal to Shi‘i sectarian religious leader Muqtada as-Sadr presides, claimed that only 23 bodies had been found. The medical source reported, however, that their freezers now contained the bodies of 51 Sunnis, tortured and murdered by the Jaysh al-Mahdi and Badr Brigades Shi‘i sectarian militias, all of which are loyal to the US-installed puppet “Government.”
Efforts to stir up religious sectarian strife and split Iraq along religious and ethnic lines ﾐ which often are masked under language about forming an Iraqi “federation” ﾐ are consistent with plans hatched by US and Zionist politicians and reflected recently by Leslie Gelb (President Emeritus of the US Council on Foreign Relations) in “The Three-State Solution” published in The New York Times on 25 November 2003, in the article by Gelb and US Democratic Senator Joseph Biden in “Unity through Autonomy in Iraq,” in The New York Times on 1 May 2006. Banking on splitting the Shi‘ah in Iraq from the rest of the country was a cornerstone of the neo-Conservative strategy laid out in “A Clean Break” a paper drawn up by American Zionist government officials Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser, and Paul Wolfowitz in 200 for the then Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
But before the recent period, the idea of “the dissolution of Iraq into a Shi‘ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” was voiced by veternan Zionist military correspondent Ze’ev Schiff in Ha'aretz on 2 June 1982 and was a part of the divide-and-rule strategy laid out by Zionist writer Oded Yinon in his “Strategy for Israel in the 1980s,” published in Kivunim (Directions), A Journal for Judaism and Zionism, published by the World Zionist Organization in occupied Jerusalem in February 1982. (It was translated by the late anti-Zionist writer and activist Israel Shahak and is widely available.)
Resistance bombs blast US patrol in Baghad’s al-‘Amiriyah district Thursday night.
In a dispatch posted at 11:17am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a patrol of several US Humvees in the western Baghdad district of al-‘Amiriyah late on Thursday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the explosions went off on al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street near the at-Tara‘‘ah Coffee House in al-‘Amiriyah, inflicting severe damage on one of the vehicles which was engulfed in flames.
Witnesses said that they saw one American vehicle ablaze and another disabled but did not have information about the nature or extent of US casualties because the attack took place late at night when the nighttime curfew was in force.

Bayji.
US forces launch new offensive just north of Bayji.
In a dispatch posted at 4:39pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops accompanied by their puppet army allies launched a new campaign in the Makhul area 10km north of the city of Bayji, which is located about 200km north of Baghdad, in an attempt to crack down on the Resistance in that area.
The Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army’s 4th Divison as saying that more than 500 US troops and 1,200 Iraqi puppet soldiers launched a new military offensive on the area at dawn on Friday. He source said that the offensive is to be carried out in two stages, the first involving the arrest and interrogation of “suspects,” and the second a comprehensive land survey in the search for weapons caches in the mountainous areas.

Resistance captures, executes two Jaysh al-Mahdi death squad members found with hit lists in their possession.
In a dispatch posted at 11:09am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces arrested two Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in tha Khan Bani Sa‘d area, about 40km northeast of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men found what were apparently hit lists of Sunni Iraqis in the possession of the Shi‘i sectarian gunmen whose task was evidently to find and murder those individuals in accordance with plans to carry out sectarian murder in keeping with efforts to split up Iraq along religious and ethnic lines.
The two gunmen were executed publicly in the city after confessing to their crimes, the correspondent reported.

Resistance bomb blasts motorcade of puppet governor of Babil Province Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under the car in which the puppet governor of Babil Province, Salim Salih, as he was returning from Baghdad to al-Hillah, about 100km to the south, on Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the al-Hillah puppet police as saying that the puppet governor survived the attack, which took place near Bridge 20. The source said that the puppet governor sustained minor injuries but that two of his companions were killed in the explosion.

Tall Kayf.
Resistance fighters kill puppet police chief in Tall Kayf north of al-Mawsil Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4:33pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed Lieutenant Colonel ‘Abd ar-Rahman Ahmad, the puppet police chief in the Tall Kayf area north of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq as he and three of his guards were coming out of a market Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Tall Kayf puppet police as saying that more than the puppet police chief was cut down by more than 40 bullets, killing him instantly.
The puppet police command of Ninwa Province admitted the death of the chief in Tall Tayf, confirming that a new chief would have to be appointed.
Al-Mawsil.
Resistance car bomber blasts US column in al-Mawsil early Friday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a US military column that was driving along the main road in the middle of the Yarinjah district of southern al-Mawsil at precisely 1pm local time Friday afternoon.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the car bomb exploded in the midst of the American column destroying two US vehicles. American forces surrounded the area, making it impossible to ascertain further details on the nature or extent of US casualties.
