Resistance shoots down US helicopter near Rawah Wednesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 6:35pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot down a US Cobra helicopter over the village of Sarir, home of members of the ar-Rawiyin tribe.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported villagers as saying that the Cobra crashed to earth and they had no information about the crew. At the time of reporting, American troops had encircled the whole village. The American soldiers could be seen searching in the al-Hajj Najm and Kantarat ar-Rawiyin gardens for the crew of the helicopter.
This was the second helicopter that the Iraqi Resistance had shot down in 48 hours.

American sniper kills 6-year-old Iraqi girl on her way to school.
In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US sniper shot and killed a schoolgirl on Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the little girl, Wasan ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hiti, 6 years old, was on her way to her primary school to pick up text books for the new school year when an American sniper gunned her down.
The correspondent reported that the American sniper fired two shots into the little girl’s chest, killing her instantly, according to a medical source in Hit Hospital.

Resistance ambush of US patrol near al-Hadithah leaves two Americans reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US patrol in the Haqlaniyah area of eastern al-Hadithah, about 220km northwest of Baghdad.
The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Haqlaniyah as saying that Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons attacked the US patrol near the al-Haqlaniyah School. The attack disabled one Humvee and killed two US troops and wounded three more of them. Two Resistance fighters were also wounded but were able to withdraw from the scene.

US carries out mass raids and arrests in ar-Ramadi Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 3pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces had been carrying out a campaign of raids, searches, and mass arrests since dawn in the al-Bu ‘Ubayd, ad-Dubbat, and al-Mal‘ab areas of eastern and central ar-Ramadi Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the Americans used masked Iraqi agents in their raids to finger local residents and get them arrested.
Resistance fighters target Iraqi puppet troops in ar-Ramadi Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces carried out several attacks targeting Iraqi puppet police and army troops in ar-Ramadi Wednesday morning.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in the al-Muthanna neighborhood, eyewitnesses said that Resistance men equipped with light arms and pipe rockets attacked a puppet army patrol on the main road in the neighborhood, destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding four Iraqi puppet troops.
Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons also attacked tow patrols of the Iraqi puppet police in the al-Yarmuk and al-Intisar neighborhoods of the city, destroying two puppet police Toyota Landcruisers and killing five puppet policemen and wounding six more of them.
Resistance rockets pound two major US bases in ar-Ramadi simultaneously Wednesday afternoon.
In a bulletin posted at 2:09pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired rockets at the US bases al-Warrar and at the Agricultural College in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the moment of reporting both bases on opposite sides of the city were being blasted intermittently by Katyusha and Grad rockets. Plumes of smoke could be seen rising from both US-occupied facilities as sirens wailed inside.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US al-Warrar base in western ar-Ramadi.
Al-Fallujah.
US, Iraqi puppet forces raid, search neighborhoods in western al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops and their Iraqi puppet allies carried out a campaign of raids and searches in the western districts of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that the US and Iraqi puppet forces sealed off the western exits from the city and surrounded the neighborhoods of al-Andalus, al-Jumhuriyah, ar-Risalah, and al-Wahdah and raided and searched homes and shops in those areas.
Witnesses said that the Americans broke down the locked doors of stores and confiscated the merchandise they found inside. At the time of reporting the affected areas were still sealed off so no further details were available.

Four US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in ‘Anah in western Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 2pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the ash-Shishan neighborhood of ‘Anah, about 300km northwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Anah as saying that the bob went off by a patrol of several Humvees. The blast totally destroyed a Humvee, killing four US troops who were aboard it.

Resistance bombs target puppet police in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 11 people were killed, six of them members of the Iraqi puppet police, and 56 more wounded when a bomb and a car bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol near the ash-Sha‘b International stadium in eastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that one bomb went off as a puppet police patrol was driving along the main road opposite the stadium, destroying one patrol vehicle. Just minutes later after puppet policemen and local residents had crowded around the scene, a car bomb that had been parked near the area blew up as well. Six puppet police were killed and 16 more of them were wounded. Five civilians perished and another 50 civilians were injured in the bombings.
Resistance bomb kills three puppet police in eastern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 1:57pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the Zuyunah neighborhood of eastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosives-laden car that had been parked by the main road in the neighborhood blew up by a passing Iraqi puppet police patrol. The explosion destroyed one patrol vehicle, killing three puppet policemen and wounding four more of them.
Witnesses said that the blast also destroyed a civilian car, killing four civilians and wounding seven more of them.
Powerful Resistance bomb targets puppet army recruiting station at al-Muthanna Airport.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a massive Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by the puppet army recruiting station set up at al-Muthanna airport in occupied Baghdad. The bomb explosion was followed by three rocket hits on the facility, inflicting casualties among the volunteers.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from near the recruiting station that there were unconfirmed reports that the large explosion was from an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter detonating an explosive belt but others were saying that an explosives-laden car had blown up.
No official word on the source of the blast had been issued at the time of reporting.
Bodies of 60 victims of savage torture by Shi‘i sectarian death squads found in various parts of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the 60 bodies of torture, murder victims that were discovered in various parts of Baghdad on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning were all Sunnis from areas under the control of Shi‘i sectarian militias.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the al-Yarmuk Hospital as saying after the puppet “Interior Ministry” announced the discovery of the bodies of “unknown identity” as saying that all the 60 corpses belonged to Sunnis who had been murdered. Fourteen of the dead were middle school pupils who had been kidnapped in the ash-Shu‘lah district when they were taking the second round of final exams.
The source went on to say that the victims were tortured in ingenious and ugly ways, such as by yanking out their spinal chords, breaking their leg bones and twisting them around to face backwards, beating their heads with steel hammers until they were misshapen, or stuffing gum up their noses and mouths suffocating them.
The source said that five of the bodies were found near the notorious Buratha Shi‘i Mosque, a cite known to be a sectarian torture and murder center.
Resistance car bomb blasts puppet police patrol at eastern entrance to “Green Zone.”
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked the entrances to the high-security district around the Republican Palace in Baghdad, dubbed the “Green Zone” by the Americans
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that an explosives-laden car blew up by an Iraqi puppet police patrol at the eastern entrance to the “Green Zone,” destroying a patrol vehicle and killing three puppet policemen and wounding six more of them. Four civilians who were near the scene of the blast were also killed and 10 more of them wounded.
Resistance forces fired four medium-range rockets into the “Green Zone” sending plumes of smoke rising over the facility.
In another attack, the Resistance fired two 82mm mortar rounds into the motorcade of the puppet “Minister of Housing and Construction” in the US-installed “government.” The attack took place near the “Green Zone” but inflicted no casualties.

Resistance bomb targets Iraqi puppet “National Guards” in Balad.
In a dispatch posted at 2pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off by a patrol of Iraqi puppet “National Guards” on the main road south of Balad, about 80km north of Baghdad.
The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb went off by a puppet “National Guard” patrol in the southern part of the city, destroying a Humvee and killing four Iraqi puppet “Guards” who were aboard it.

Resistance fighters ambush motorcade of Iraqi puppet “Defense Minister.”
In a dispatch posted at 1:26pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters, equipped with light arms and rocket launchers, attacked the motorcade of the puppet “Iraqi Defense Adviser” ‘Aziz al-Yasari on the main road south of al-Latifiyah about 30km south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the attack took place in the al-Haswah area, south of al-Latifiyah on the road to Karbala’. The attack completely destroyed one vehicle in the motorcade, killing one of the guards and wounding two more.

Fierce fighting reported in al-Hawijah Wednesday night.
In a bulletin posted at 8pm Makkah time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting had broken out and was raging at that hour between Resistance men and US occupation troops in one of the neighborhoods of al-Hawijah in northern Iraq.
The al-Hawijah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance bomb and an RPG7 grenade had destroyed two US vehicles setting fires in the night sky of the city. The correspondent reported that the Resistance men and the US troops were no more than 30 meters from each other.
