US soldier reported killed in traffic accident in ar-Rutbah near the Jordanian border Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:18pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a US military vehicle was involved in a traffic accident in the ar-Rutbah area near the Jordanian border in western Iraq’s al-Anbar Province.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US vehicle flipped over in the course of the accident, killing one US soldier who was aboard and wounding two others. Local eyewitnesses said that the Humvee fell from an elevated position in the area of al-Khadami Street to the west of the city. The Americans brought in a crane to haul the vehicle away after the accident.

American soldier reported killed in Resistance ambush near al-Hadithah at dawn Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers attacked a US patrol on as-Subhani Road east of al-Hadithah, about 220km northwest of Baghdad at dawn Tuesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hadithah as saying that Resistance men ambushed the US patrol, disabling a Humvee and killing one American soldier and wounding four more of them. Two Iraqi Resistance fighters were also wounded but withdrew with the other Resistance men.

US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter in Hit.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Hit as saying that the attack took place in the al-Jam‘iyah area of eastern Hit. Witnesses said that a US patrol had halted at the entrance to the neighborhood when one of the soldiers took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance mortar barrage pounds US headquarters in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired eight 60mm mortar rounds into the US occupation headquarters set up in the provincial government building in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that plumes of smoke rose from various parts of the compound.
US troops arrest more than 78 local residents in ar-Ramadi, Hit, al-Hadithah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:15pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US military forces carried out a wave of indiscriminate arrests in various parts of ar-Ramadi, Hit, and al-Hadithah in western Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces arrested more than 78 local residents in house-to-house raids in the three cities late on Monday night.

Resistance fighters attack US column in al-Fallujah Monday night. US admits three Americans killed by Resistance bomb Monday night.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a column of US troops on the main road in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of eastern al-Fallujah Monday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dubbat as saying that the attack began with the explosion of a bomb by a US column that was driving past the Industrial Zone at 9:30pm Monday night.
The blast destroyed a Humvee, and then after US reinforcements arrived Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons fell on the column damaging another vehicle. The Resistance men then withdrew without having suffered any casualties of their own. No information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available because of the nighttime curfew that was in force at the time.
In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported al-Jazeera satellite TV as saying that the US military had admitted that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on Monday evening, killing three US troops near al-Fallujah.

Resistance hits joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Abu Ghurayb with mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly occupied by US troops and Iraqi puppet army forces in he Khan Darri area of Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad. The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Khan Darri as saying that plumes of smoke rose from the joint headquarters.

In a dispatch posted at 8pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a source in the puppet “Iraqi Ministry of Health” declared that 50 bodies of torture-murder victims had been found at different times and in various parts of Baghdad on Tuesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the victims had all been kidnapped by Shi‘i sectarian militias. All the victims were tortured and then shot, the source said. Among the 50 murder victims were Palestinians resident in Baghdad. Two boys, one of them only 14 were also among the dead. The source asked not to be identified since the US-controlled Iraqi regime has ordered that no information on the numbers of sectarian murder victims be released until the regime has had a chance to approve and issue its official version.
Resistance ambush leaves eight puppet policemen dead in Baghdad’s al-Yarmuk district Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 5:35pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with rocket launchers and machine guns attacked an Iraqi puppet police column in Baghdad’s al-Yarmuk section, blasting it with intensive gun and rocket fire. Most of the column fled from the attackers to Qahtan Square, but the last two vehicles fell into the hands of the Iraqi Resistance.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance, unable to keep the vehicles, set them both ablaze. Eight Iraqi puppet policemen were killed in the ambush and one puppet police officer was taken prisoner by the Resistance men, who easily withdrew without any one of them being injured. At the time of reporting, US troops were surrounding the entire area, which is near the Mosque of the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah.

Ad-Dulu‘iyah still under blockade following Resistance attack that killed five American Marines.
In a dispatch posted at 2:55pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces imposed a total blockade on ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad, following an attack that left five US Marines dead.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that the blockade involves closing all approaches to the city to prevent anyone from entering or leaving. In addition, the US forces have cut off electricity and running water from local residents and imposed a curfew from 6pm to 6am. The measure follows an Iraqi Resistance ambush on a US patrol in the middle of the city that destroyed one vehicle and disabled a second and left five Americans dead last Saturday.

Resistance bomb wounds US troops in al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in al-Miqdadiyah, about 85km northeast of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Miqdadiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted on the main road near western entrance to the city went off by a passing American column, destroying a Humvee and severely wounding four US troops.

Resistance bomb disables Bradley armored vehicle in southern al-Mawsil at dawn Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road linking the al-Wahdah neighborhood with the al-Karamah neighborhood in al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Wahdah in the southern part of the city as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road to al-Karamah went off by a US military column at dawn. The explosion disabled a Bradley armored vehicle. No information on the nature or extent of US casualties was known because the nighttime curfew was still in force at the time of the attack.

Resistance mortar shell blasts US intelligence headquarters in an-Najaf.
In a bulletin posted at 6:55pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces a short while earlier had fired a mortar round into the headquarters of US occupation forces in the southern Iraqi city of Karbala’. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the mortar shell landed on what is known as the headquarters of US intelligence near the Technical Institute in an-Najaf. No details regarding the nature or extent of American casualties were available.
