Families of al-Hadithah massacre victims vow to leave Iraq following threats made by occupation troops that they will suffer “consequences” if soldiers on trial for the murders are executed.
In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the families of the Iraqis murdered by US troops in al-Hadithah ミ a total of 24 victims including women and children ミ have rejected requests by US occupation authorities to dig up the bodies of their loved ones and transport them to America for tests as a part of the US investigation of the massacre.
The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Dr. Walid al-Hadithi as saying that the families of the victims refused to allow the exhumation of the bodies as requested by the American investigating committee saying that digging up the graves of the martyrs and shipping their bodies to the United States for testing would be like killing them a second time.
Dr. al-Hadithi also said that the families had refused to take the money compensation offered to them by the American occupation forces. Dr al-Hadithi noted, however, that the families are all now determined to leave Iraq because US troops have threatened them with “consequences” if the American soldiers on trial for their relatives’ deaths are executed.
Resistance blasts US headquarters in al-Hadithah with heavy mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 11:42am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters set up in the Educational Administration building in the middle of al-Hadithah, about 220km northwest of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hadithah as saying that the shells set off explosions and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Resistance fighters ambush puppet army patrol near al-Khalidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked an Iraqi puppet army column on the main road in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area north of al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Jazirat al-Khalidiyah as saying that the attack began when a Resistance bomb exploded by the main road in the area as a puppet army column was driving past. The explosion destroyed a Humvee, and then Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers attacked the trops, disabling a second Humvee and killing three Iraqi puppet troops and severely wounding three more of them.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb rips through US vehicle in al-Fallujah Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 8:05pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the an-Nazal neighborhood of southeastern al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted in the midst of the Abu ad-Dahn shops selling car tires blew up by a column of five US armored vehicles, destroying one Humvee and killing or wounding the American troops who were aboard it. Fire could still be seen blazing in the wreckage of the vehicle after electricity in the area was cut off. The correspondent reported that after the attack, US troops surrounded the area, where they still were at the time of reporting.
Nighttime attacks batter US, Iraqi puppet army forces in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:52am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out several fierce attacks on US occupation forces and their Iraqi puppet allies in al-Fallujah on Sunday evening. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light and medium arms and rocket launchers attacked a puppet “National Guard” patrol in the Nuwwab ad-Dubbat neighborhood of the city at 8pm Sunday night, setting fire to a Humvee and killing or wounding five puppet “Guards” who were aboard it.
In a second attack, Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers ambushed a US patrol on Martyrs Cemetery Street in the market area, disabling a Humvee. No information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available. At 9:30pm local time Sunday night, Resistance men opened fire with rocket launchers and machine guns on an Iraqi puppet army military encampment on the new bridge in western al-Fallujah, but no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available due to the curfew that was in force during the nighttime hours.
Then at midnight, Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and pipe rockets attacked a US military column made up of several armored vehicles and Humvees on the new street in al-Fallujah. The attack lasted more than 15 minutes but again no information on casualties was available because of the curfew that was in force. On Monday morning the city was the scene of a deployment of a large force of US and Iraqi puppet army troops throughout al-Fallujah.
Resistance car bomb blasts puppet “Iraqi National Guards.”
In a dispatch posted at 10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol on the main road to the ar-Rasalah area of western al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that an explosives-laden car that was parked by the side of the New Street to the west of the city blew up as a patrol of puppet “Guards” drove past. The blast completely destroyed a Humvee, killing five Iraqi puppet “Guards” who were aboard the vehicle.

Resistance car bombers hit two puppet army checkpoints in Abu Ghurayb simultaneously on Sunday night.
In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance car bombs exploded simultaneously by two Iraqi puppet army checkpoints in Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police in Abu Ghurayb as saying that two Resistance fida’i fighters drove two explosives-laden cars into two checkpoints on the road to al-Fallujah that were manned by Iraqi puppet army troops on Sunday evening. The explosions totally destroyed the two checkpoints, killed seven puppet troops, and completely destroyed two Iraqi puppet military vehicles.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guard” patrol in Abu Ghurayb.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb went off near an area of residential buildings by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol, destroying a Humvee and killing two puppet “Guards” and wounding two more.

Bodies of 33 Sunni torture victims delivered to hospital in Baghdad Sunday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:30pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 33 bodies of Sunnis murdered by Shi‘i sectarian gangs had been found Monday in Baghdad, according to a medical source. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source in the Forensic Medicine Hospital as saying that they received one batch of Sunnis who had all been tortured and then shot to death. These murders were in addition to those killed in the Jaysh al-Mahdi shooting sprees in various neighborhoods of Baghdad that left another 40 Iraqis dead.
Resistance bomb in ad-Durah leaves two US troops reported killed.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet police in ad-Durah as saying that a high-explosive bomb went off by a US patrol in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood, killing two US troops and severely wounding two more of them. The source said that US troops immediately surrounded the area and launched raids and searches of nearby houses, arresting three local residents.
Resistance car bomb targets puppet police patrol in al-Karadah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:05pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the al-Karadah district of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Karadah as saying that an explosives-packed car that had been parked by Salman Fa’iq Road in al-Karadah was detonated by remote control as a puppet police patrol was driving past. The explosion destroyed a patrol vehicle and a civilian vehicle that was parked near the car bomb. Four puppet policemen and three civilians were wounded.
Resistance men kill three pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen.
In a dispatch posted at 1:59pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed three members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militia in the southeastern Baghdad area of ar-Ridwaniyah. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ridwaniyah as saying hat Resistance men equipped with light arms attacked a car carrying three pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen. Two of them were also puppet policemen. The attack took place on the main road in the ash-Shurtah al-Khamisah district of ar-Ridwaniyah.
The correspondent reported that the Resistance men killed the three pro-American sectarians and then left the area immediately. At least 40 Sunnis killed as Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen loyal to sectarian cleric Muqtada as-Sadr drive around Baghdad gunning down local Sunnis. In a dispatch posted at 12:55pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier more than 14 Iraqi Sunnis had been executed by Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in the al-‘Amil area of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that BMW cars plastered with pictures of Muqtada ad-Sadr and full of machinegun-toting Jaysh al-Mahdi sectarian militiamen drove into the area where Sunni Iraqis have garages for car washing and repair in the al-‘Amil district and gunned down at least 14 local Sunnis. The precise number of victims in the area was unknown at the time of reporting as the Shi‘i gunmen were still driving around the area shooting people.
Then in a dispatch posted at 1:58pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a total of 40 Sunnis had been killed by the Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarians in a killing spree that began on Sunday night. The Shi‘i sectarian murders were said to be “in revenge” for the killing of a Jaysh al-Mahdi sectarian commander known as Abu Muqtada. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in addition to their shooting spree in the al-‘Amil garage area,
Shi‘i sectarian gunmen loyal to Muqtada as-Sadr drove down 20 Street in Baghdad’s al-Bayya‘ district shooting Sunnis and drove through the area of the car repair garage on the Fifth Street killing Sunni Iraqis there too.

Resistance rockets hit joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four medium-range rockets into the camp jointly occupied by US troops and puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the al-Buhayrah Hotel in southern Samarra’. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Jubayriyah area of the city as saying that the hotel, which serves as the joint headquarters took direct hits sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

In a dispatch posted at 8:55pm Makkah time Mondaynight, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men abducted Dr. ‘Ala’ Jasim al-‘Atabi, the Vice President of Diyala University. The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the so called “FBS” a puppet police service for protecting puppet state officials as saying that armed men in civilian cars blindfolded and bound al-‘Atabi and forced him to go with them.

Puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops” round up 122 local residents in nighttime raids in al-Hillah, breaking the noses of each prisoner with their rifle butts.
In a dispatch posted at 6pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” carried out the largest raids and mass arrests in Babil province for months on Sunday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that during the hours of darkness the puppet regime troops raided predominantly Sunni areas in the western part of the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad.
A local source told the correspondent that more than 122 local people, ranging in age from 15 to 60, were rounded up in the sweep. Witnesses said that the puppet troops also robbed the houses they were raiding and committed provocations, such as forcing women to uncover their faces and searching through their personal things. The largely Shi‘i sectarian “Interior Ministry Shock Troops” also broke the noses of all the 122 prisoners, bashing each one in the face with the butts of their rifles. The puppet “Shock Troops” then put bags over the heads of their prisoners and took them off to unknown destinations.

US soldier reported killed in Resistance ambush in al-Mawsil mid-morning Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a US patrol in the al-Wahdah neighborhood of southern al-Mawsil in northern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Wahdah as saying that Resistance men equipped with light arms and rocket launchers attacked the US patrol at 10am local time Monday morning.
The witnesses said that a Humvee was disabled and one US soldier killed and three more of them wounded. American troops were still surrounding the area at the time of reporting. In a separate attack, a Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the al-Ma‘arid area of al-Mawsil on Sunday evening. Witnesses reported that the blast destroyed a “Monica” (Toyota Land Cruiser), killing two puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the Palestine neighborhood of southern al-Mawsil in northern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Palestine neighborhood as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the main road in the neighborhood went off as a US patrol was passing by. The blast destroyed a Humvee, severely wounding four US troops.

British authorities admit two British troops killed in Resistance bomb attack in al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Makkah time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the British occupation authorities had announced that two of its soldiers were killed in the ad-Dayr area of northern al-Basrah in southern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the announcement followed the explosion of a Resistance bomb by a British patrol that severely wounded two British troops. Both later died. In another attack, Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the British base in the at-Tuwaysah area of al-Basrah with a powerful barrage, sending clouds of smoke rising from the facility.
