US rounds up 27 local people in raids following Resistance attack on US facility in al-Habbaniyah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:54pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces carried out mass raids and arrests of Iraqi civilians in al-Habbaniyah, 69km west of Baghdad at noon Saturday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that 27 local people civilians were arrested following an attack by the Iraqi Resistance at dawn in which a barrage was fried at the US military headquarters set up in a primary school in the city.In their searches, US troops used police dogs that terrified children and women I the houses they raided. The correspondent said that this time the Americans did not steal anything in contrast to their usual practice.

Ar-Ramadi.

Puppet regime reports ambush in western Iraq of minibus that supposedly left dead 14 South Asian visitors to Shi‘i shrines.

In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an ambush killed a group of South Asians supposedly on their way to visit Shi‘i shrines in the southern city of Karbala’. Medical sources and sources in the Iraqi puppet police announced that 14 died in the attack.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported an official in the al-Husayn Hospital in Karbala’ ﾐ the facility to which the bodies of the dead were taken ﾐ as saying that five women and nine men, all of them Pakistani, were killed as a result of gunfire. Reuters, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, reported the hospital source as saying that the visitors had all been killed three days before their bodies were reportedly found on Friday.

There was no explanation as to why the bodies were taken from western Iraq to a hospital in the predominantly Shi‘i southern city of Karbala’. The puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” announced that three of the dead were citizens of India. Puppet police and medical sources said that the group had been ambushed while riding in a minibus from Syria into western Iraq. The ambush occurred near a well-known rest stop on the highway west of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance attacks US, Iraqi puppet facilities in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:58am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a checkpoint jointly manned by US and Iraqi puppet forces to the west of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Halabisah area as saying that the Resistance fired four 60mm mortar rounds scoring direct hits on the checkpoint and sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky. Previously, during Friday night, Iraqi Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked the US military headquarters in the middle of the city, known as “as-Simak,” as an American patrol was entering the facility. Since a curfew was in force at the time of the attack, no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

Al-Khalidiyah.

Resistance bomb targets puppet “National Guards” near al-Khalidiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:13am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in the al-Midiq area west of al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Khalidiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the main road to al-Madiq went off by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards,” destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding the five Iraqi puppet “Guards” aboard it.

Baghdad.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police in Baghdad’s al-Waziriyah neighborhood.

In a dispatch posted at 12:05pm Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol on the main road in the al-Waziriyah neighborhood of eastern Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb destroyed a puppet police vehicle and a civilian car, killing one puppet policeman and wounding three more puppet police and six civilians who were nearby.

Resistance blasts US camp in northern suburb of Baghdad with Katyusha rockets.

In a dispatch posted at 10:03kkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US military camp in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Taji as saying that the rockets set off explosions and sent plumes of smoke rising from within the camp.

Resistance uncovers, foils US plot to incite fighting among Resistance organizations.

In a dispatch posted at 5:33pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces had resorted to trickery in an effort to turn different Iraqi Resistance organizations against each other after direct confrontation on the battlefield had failed to yield them any success.

The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Saturday that in accordance with their plan, US occupation forces had recruited a number of Shi ‘ sectarian members of the pro-American Badr Brigades, the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir),” and troops from the so-called “Joint Coordination Center” or JCC ﾐ the American-run center for cooperation between US occupation forces and Iraqi puppet forces. These special recruits were organized and trained to carry out assassinations of Iraqi civilians and Resistance fighters in a way intended to spread conflict among them.

The American-recruited under-cover death squads drive around in Opels or BMW2s ﾐ cars frequently used by Iraqi Resistance fighters because there are many of them in the country. The death squads are led by Fayiz al-‘Amiri the cousin of Hadi al-‘Amiri, the official in charge of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades in the city. Fayiz al-‘Amiri is also called by the English nickname Fayiz Tiger. In recent days Fayiz and his hit men have killed a number of Resistance fighters when they were unarmed and at rest.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that among those killed by Fayiz Tiger’s death squads was a commander of the Iraqi Resistance group al-Jaysh al-Islami “The Islamic Army” and five innocent civilians. The death squads killed the member of al-Jaysh al-Islami in Maryam Market in the middle of Samarra’. Then the next day, US troops used the members of the Shi‘i death squad to distribute a fake leaflet, ostensibly issued by al-Qa‘idah in the Land of the Two Rivers, saying that it had killed the al-Jaysh al-Islami commander.

This was an effort to turn the two Resistance organizations against each other and to spark combat between them. That situation led to the intervention of a third Resistance group, the Jaysh ar-Rashideen. The Jaysh ar-Rashideen distributed leaflets around mosques in the city telling everyone that the parties responsible for the killing of the al-Jaysh al-Islami commander were members of a Shi‘i sectarian gang who had been recruited by the Americans with the aim of sparking conflict in the ranks of the Resistance.

Meanwhile, al-Qa‘idah issued a declaration of its own saying that it had nothing to do with the killing of the al-Jaysh al-Islami commander or with any operation that targets innocent civilians in Samarra’. It pledged that it would apprehend the killers.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam added that members of the Jaysh ar-Rashideen and a number of other Resistance members traced the movements of the cars used in the deadly attacks by men who purported to be “Resistance fighters.” The men in the cars disguised themselves with the long beards and short dishdashas often favored by Islamist Resistance fighters. Armed with machine guns, the fake “Resistance men” carried tooth-sticks in their mouths, as fundamentalists are wont to do, and mounted copies of the Qur’an on their car dashboards. Altogether, they gave the clear impression that they were Islamist Resistance fighters.

But while following their movements, the Jaysh ar-Rashideen Resistance men observed that at night the long-bearded “Resistance fighters” would drive their cars into the American “Joint Coordination Center” and then the next morning they would be seen driving out of the same JCC. Resistance men learned that the commander of the death squad unit was Fayiz al-‘Amiri, the cousin of the local head of the Badr Brigades.

In further confirmation of the American plan, the puppet regime spokesman Muwaffaq ar-Rubay‘i, the US-installed Iraqi puppet regime’s “National Security Adviser” has been making public statements about a supposed “mutiny” that supposedly was underway among Iraqi Resistance groups against al-Qa‘idah ﾐ precisely the sort of infighting that the Americans were trying to provoke with their fake “Resistance fighter” death squads.

Resistance men and residents of Samarra’ have now been able to expose and foil the American plot to incite fighting among different Resistance groups. On Saturday morning, the Iraqi Resistance responded to the American tricks with a coordinated assault by representatives of most of the Resistance organizations on the US base and the JCC in Samarra’.

As to the basis for the clandestine US effort, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that certain mistakes had in fact been made by Resistance groups in the past when some fighters made unauthorized interpretations of their missions or acted against the orders of their commanders. Such mistakes had greatly diminished in recent months. The errors that had been committed and the attacks that had taken civilian lives had become far fewer in recent months and the various Resistance organizations have never been so close to each other as they are at the present time, the correspondent noted.

It was this gradual strengthening of the Resistance that increasingly worried the Americans and their Shi‘i sectarian friends, the correspondent reported, impelling them to try to use tricks to split the groups apart. They therefore resorted to recruiting their agents who tried to make use of old mistakes and errors that had taken place in the past to split the groups apart now.

The correspondent noted that in addition to the Americans and their Shi‘i sectarian death squad agents, it was also apparent that agents of Arab secret services had also infiltrated the ranks of the Resistance on the pretext of coming to Iraq to fight the occupation. Those agents also worked to incite internecine fighting among the Resistance groups.

Ad-Dulu‘iyah.

Four Resistance bombs rip through US convoy near ad-Dulu‘iyah at dawn Saturday.

In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that four Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a US military column in tha al-Bu Hishmah area near the city of ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad at about 5:45am local time Saturday morning. The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bombs went off by a US column on its way to the al-Bakr Air Base ﾐ occupied by the Americans and dubbed by them “Camp Anaconda.” Witnesses said that the bombs destroyed two Humvees which they saw on fire, burning from the inside. A number of US troops were killed or wounded in the attack.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Resistance fighters kill puppet colonel notorious as serial rapist of Sunni women.

In a dispatch posted at 5:14pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces on Friday night killed Staff Colonel Salah Hasan, the Commander of the puppet “Rapid-Deployment Force” who was blamed for the rape of numerous Iraqi Sunni women. The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance fighters ambushed Colonel Salah Hasan while he was on the main road in the Habhab area, about 25km north of Ba‘qubah. Two brothers and an uncle of the notorious puppet colonel were also killed in the attack. All of them also worked for the puppet police forces.

Ba‘qubah General Hospital announced the death of the commander in the city, refuting claims by the puppet regime that he had died in the hospital of adverse reaction to medication. The hospital reported that the puppet colonel had died instantly in his car and that when the ambulance arrived on the scene, the colonel and three others were already dead and the vehicle in which they had been driving was on fire. The hospital report noted that the corpses were extracted from the flaming vehicle with difficulty.

Resistance fighters kill puppet police, pro-American sectarian militiamen in Ba‘qubah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed four puppet policemen and three pro-American Shi‘i sectarian militiamen in the middle of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad.

The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns shot four puppet policemen near the Ba‘qubah car park. One of those killed was a puppet police major. In a separate attack, Resistance fighters armed with machine guns shot and killed two Shi‘i sectarian militiamen in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood in western Ba‘qubah. Both sectarian gunmen were killed and the Resistance fighters left the area having suffered no losses of their own.

Babil Province.

Mysterious bomb blasts market in al-Hillah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:15m Makkah time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded in the al-Mashru‘ district of northern al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad at 11:30am local time Saturday morning. The al-Hillah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Mashru‘ as saying that the explosives-laden car had been parked by the side of he main street in the popular market area. The explosion killed four civilians and wounded nine more, in addition to inflicting damage on commercial shops and civilian cars that were nearby.

Ninwa Province.

Resistance fighters ambush puppet police in al-Mawsil.

In a dispatch posted at 10:32am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked an Iraqi puppet police patrol near the Industrial Zone of southeastern al-Mawsil.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Mawsil as saying that Resistance fighters damaged patrol vehicles and killed one puppet policeman and wounded two more of them in the ambush.

Al-Basrah Province.

Resistance bombards British occupation headquarters in al-Basrah Saturday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 6:44pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired 11 mortar rounds into the British base in the Shatt al-‘Arab Complex in al-Basrah. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the time of reporting mortar shells were still pounding the British base intermittently, and the British were unable to halt the barrage despite their helicopter patrols of the area searching for the Resistance fighters.
