Residents of locked-down city of al-Hadithah appeal to world to break US blockade.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that for the third straight day, US forces kept the city of al-Hadithah, about 220km northwest of Iraq under lockdown on the pretext of searching for Resistance fighters. The residents of the beleaguered city appealed for help in breaking the “Crusader blockade” particularly now as Muslims observe the Ramadan month of fasting.
The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reporteda source in the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” assaying that for the third day all the city’s entrances and exits remaining sealed. The curfew, imposed three days ago is still in force, confining people to their homes and prohibiting all traffic ミ vehicle and pedestrian.
The US troops are in fact tightening their “security measures” in the city as they search every neighborhood for “suspected gunmen” meaning Iraqi Resistance fighters. The American lockdown of al-Hadithah followed a rise in Resistance attacks on US occupation troops in the area. For their part, the residents of al-Hadithah appealed to people of good will to intervene to break the “Crusader blockade” particularly now in the month of Ramadan. Local residents face numerous difficulties in obtaining basic necessities and in celebrating the holy month.
Ar-Ramadi.
US troops gun down elderly Iraqi woman as she rummages through garbage dump looking for food in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US troops killed a 60-year-old Iraqi woman who was rummaging through a garbage dump near where she lived looking for something with which to feed her refugee family.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US patrol shot and killed the elderly woman who was a Sunni refugee from Shi‘i sectarian militia violence that is taking place to the south and east of al-Anbar province under the watchful eyes of the American occupation. The American troops spotted the woman searching through the garbage dump near where she lived. They apparently believed she was planting a bomb in their path so they pointed their guns at her head and killed her immediately with four bullets.
The correspondent reported that the woman lived with three other members of her family in an abandoned school building not far from where she was killed. She is survived by a husband who is blind, a daughter who was divorced from her Shi‘i husband a year earlier, and the daughter’s child, Ahmad. Ahmad said that his grandmother, “Umm Ghayib,” had gone to search through the garbage dump for something with which to feed the family. In a dispatch posted at 12:24pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops evicted residents from two villages located near al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad. The US troops gave the villagers no warning, summarily throwing them into the street.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that for the second day in a row, US troops evicted residents of houses in the villages of al-Bu ‘Ubayd and al-Bu Bali on the road to the village of al-Malahimah in an effort to stop repeated Resistance attacks on US columns that have to pass through the two villages.
The correspondent reported that all the houses commandeered by the Americans with no prior warning are relatively tall buildings, whose rooftops are suitable for use by US observers and snipers. Similar operations are reportedly underway in numerous areas of western Iraq’s al-Anbar Province as the month of Ramadan gets underway.

Then at about 10am local time, the Americans took their captives and left, opening up the area once again.
Katyusha rockets blast US base in al-Fallujah Tuesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six Katyusha rockets into the US military base in the middle of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad, at 7pm local time Tuesday evening.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that violent explosions shook the US “as-Simak” base, after which plumes of thick smoke could be seen rising over the facility. The source said that in response to the bombardment, the American snipers perched atop buildings in the base opened fire intensively and indiscriminately but inflicted no casualties. The base is a regular target of such attacks, the correspondent noted.

Four American troops were wounded in the explosion, one of them severely and their Humvee was disabled. Afterwards, American forces surrounded the area and closed the one street leading to the neighborhood. They arrested four local shopkeepers but gave no explanation as to why they were taken away.

The source said that an hour after the discovery of the 13 bodies, puppet police in the as-Salikh district found three bodies of Sunni religious men who had been abducted Tuesday night from the Mosque of the Martyr Sabri by the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia. Meanwhile seven bodies of Sunnis ミ some of them students and others government employees, all of them shot to death by Shi‘i sectarian gunmen ミ were brought in to the Forensic Medicine Hospital in the city.
Diyala Province.
Ba‘qubah.
American troops reportedly murder family of eight near Ba‘qubah before dawn Wednesday, contrary to media claims.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops murdered a family of eight persons in the city of Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad at dawn on Wednesday, contrary to what reports in western media claimed.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at 4:15am local time Wednesday, as people were busy preparing the last meal before the daytime fast began, US occupation forces burst into a home where a family of eight ミ five men and three women ミ lived in the al-Katun section of the village of Bani Zayd. The Americans executed all eight family members, killing the women in the kitchen and the men in the yard of the house.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam refuted claims that appeared in report by Reuters and other western and Arab news agencies saying that a mortar shell landed on the house. He said that the eight were killed in a US raid that took place some 15 minutes after a Resistance attack on the Americans’ patrol. That attack prompted the US troops to raid the house and kill everyone inside.
The correspondent noted that there was no damage to the building nor any sign of the explosion of a mortar shell in the yard or neighboring areas. The correspondent said that the reporter for Reuters, who is a Shi‘i, falsified the facts to absolve the Americans of guilt, and issued story blaming the deaths on a Resistance mortar shell.

Kirkuk.
Concern grows in Kirkuk over activity of “Israeli” organizations operating under the protection of Kurdish separatist authorities.
There is growing alarm in the northern city of Kirkuk at the nature and extent of “Israeli” activity in the city under the umbrella of protection afforded by pro-American Kurdish separatist authorities.
Quds Press reported from Kirkuk on Wednesday that Iraqi sources close to the Resistance organizations have observed that there that there are nearly 40 organizations operating for various purposes in the city and that “some of those organizations are ‘Israeli’.” The Iraqi Resistance groups note that the organizations carry on various types of field work including espionage, promotion of pornography and promiscuity, and interfering with the demographic makeup of the city.
In an exclusive interview, the sources told Quds Press that they have “documented information that those organizations are attempting to stir up ethnic and religious sectarian chauvinisms in Kirkuk, by supporting and financing certain organized gangs.”
The sources said that some time ago those organizations, with the backing of the pro-American Kurdish separatist officials, attempted to seize control of most departments and institutions in Kirkuk. They worked to drive ethnic Arabs and Turkomans out of the oil-rich city, which has not been officially included in the American-backed “Kurdistan” region, but which Kurdish separatists insist they must annexed.
Besides providing support to Kurds who want to move into Kirkuk in order to change the demography of the city and swell the Kurdish ethnic component, the Zionist organizations have also been making tempting offers to Arabs and Turkomans in an effort to encourage them to leave the city. The sources told Quds Press that the Resistance organizations have been observing the Zionist organizations and their activity over the past several months and are planning to take action against them in the future.
