Resistance mortars pound US al-Habbaniyah base Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 9:30pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a mortar barrage on the US base located 25km west of the city of al-Fallujah on Monday afternoon. The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the village of al-Bu Mar‘i, which is located close to the American base, as saying that seven mortar rounds and one rocket blasted into the main American base at al-Habbaniyah during the late afternoon on Monday. The witnesses said that four pillars of black smoke could be seen rising from the American-occupied facility after the barrage, but in keeping with their usual secrecy, the Americans released no information on the nature or extent of their casualties.

High-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb explodes under American Humvee in al-Fallujah, reportedly killing three US troops, mortally wounding fourth.
In a dispatch posted at 8:55pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up by a US patrol in the al-Jawlan neighborhood of northwestern al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that at 12 noon local time Monday, a high-yield bomb went off directly under a Humvee in an American patrol in the al-Jawlan neighborhood.
The blast killed three soldiers immediately and left a fourth mortally wounded, according to witnesses who added that the Humvee was destroyed. US forces quickly threw down a security cordon around the area and imposed a curfew there that lasted for one and a half hours until the Americans were finished clearing away the wreckage and the bodies. One vehicle arrived to evacuate the mortally wounded soldier to the US military hospital located west of al-Fallujah, witnesses reported.

Resistance ambush leaves four puppet “National Guards” in Jazirat al-Khalidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:22pm Makkah time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a column of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” at the entrance to the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Jazirat al-Khalidiyah as saying that the attack began when a Resistance bomb exploded by the column, destroying a Humvee. After that, Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket propelled grenades pounced on the column destroying a second Humvee and killing four of the Iraqi puppet “National Guards” and seriously wounding five more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 3pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a medical source in Baghdad’s al-Yarmuk Hospital had received the body of Mahir Misbah al-Madi, a Palestinian who was kidnapped by Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia gunmen last week.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the source as saying that the body bore signs of torture, as is frequently the case with victims of the Shi‘i sectarian militia operating under the American occupation’s umbrella in Iraq. Al-Madi was finally “executed” by a gunshot to the head.
Resistance bomb blasts US column in ar-Ridwaniyah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:28pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in southwestern Baghdad’s ar-Ridwaniyah district.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by a farm road leading to Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad, went off by a passing American column, completely destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding the five US troops aboard.
Mysterious bomb kills civilians in Baghdad’s al-Karadah district early Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 1:17pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious car bomb exploded in Baghdad’s al-Karadah district after noon on Monday.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Karadah as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of Salman Fa’iq Road in the middle of al-Karadah blew up, killing thre civilians and wounding four more of them.
Australia admits four soldiers wounded in Resistance rocket attack on “Green Zone.”
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that that Australian military had admitted that four of its troops had been wounded when an Iraqi Resistance rocket landed in the area of the Republican Palace in Baghdad ミ the high security area dubbed the “Green Zone” by the occupation forces. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Marshal Angus Houston of the Australian military occupation forces as saying that the rocket injured one of the Australian troops seriously in the head ミ a wound complicated by internal bleeding. The other three were reported to be in less serious condition.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet “Shock Troops” in ad-Durah Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet “Shock Troop” patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb went off by a patrol of puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” on the main road between the al-Mikani neighborhood and the as-Sihhah neighborhood in ad-Durah. The witnesses said that the blast destroyed a pickup belonging to the “Shock Troops” and killing two of them and wounding two more.
Eleven Sunni youths disappear at checkpoint run by puppet forces in western Baghdad Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at about 10am local time Monday morning 11 Sunni youths disappeared as they were passing through an Iraqi puppet police checkpoint by the al-Ghazaliyah control point in western Baghdad on the highway that runs west to al-Fallujah.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the 11 disappeared after arriving at the checkpoint on their way to al-Fallujah and being told to get out of their Kia salon car.
No further information about their fate was known after that point, but their vehicle was still parked by the side of the road at the checkpoint. More than 20 youths disappeared under similar circumstances in the last week at the puppet forces control point near the Biskulatah factory in western Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district, a point under the control of the puppet “Order Protection” forces.
Car bomb explodes by Passport Department in Baghdad’s Zuyunah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:19am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded by the Passport Department in the Zuyunah section of southern Baghdad.The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Zuyunah who witnessed the attack as saying that the explosives-laden car, which had been parked in the area blew up Monday morning, destroying two civilian cars and killing four civilians and wounding eight others.
Resistance rockets blast US-occupied Saddam International Airport in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:11am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces had fired at least three rockets into Saddam International Airport outside of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Furat neighborhood near the airport as saying that at least three rockets slammed into the northern part of the airport producing thick plumes of smoke. Witnesses reported that swarms of US helicopters flew in over the airport and adjacent areas and were still prowling the skies there at the time the correspondent filed his report.
Resistance rockets, bombs target Shi‘i sectarian militia gunmen in “Suq Maryam” in Baghdad’s az-Za‘faraniyah district Sunday night.
In a dispatch posted at 1:07pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that seven 82mm mortar rounds, a booby-trapped motorcycle, and a car bomb all exploded in a popular market know as Suq Maryam in the az-Za‘faraniyah area of Baghdad Sunday night, killing 48 people and wounding another 150 more, most of them members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades and the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia ミ groups collectively known for “preparing the way for the state of the Expected Mahdi” ミ according to Shi‘i eschatology.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortar shells landed in the market, a jump off point for raids by the sectarian militias on Sunni mosques.
After the mortar rounds hit, an explosives-laden motorcycle blew up and then an explosives-packed car that had been parked in the area blew up. A source in the puppet police in az-Za‘faraniyah who asked not to be identified told Mafkarat al-Islam that most of the casualties were members of the Badr Brigades and Jaysh al-Mahdi and denied reports that most victims were women and children. The puppet “Iraqi Ministry of Health,” which is controlled by the Jaysh al-Mahdi reported that the total number of dead and wounded was 196 persons, and that most of the wounded were in serious condition.

Fighting rages Monday night between pro-American troops and militias and local residents of al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting erupted between local men and Iraqi puppet army troops backed by pro-American Shi‘i sectarian militias in the al-Miqdadiyah area, about 85km northeast of Baghdad, on Sunday evening. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Iraqi puppet army, backed by sectarian militiamen attacked the villages of Jabbur and al-Jaff and killed two villagers and arrested five more. The attackers carried out a campaign of raids in the al-Miqdadiyah district for no apparent reason.
Witnesses said that the Iraqi puppet army and the sectarian militia forces attacked homes of men who guarded the local Sunni mosques and attempted to arrest them on charges of possession of weapons, even though they knew full well that the weapons they had were licensed by the local puppet governing council for protecting local Sunni mosques. The puppet forces nevertheless attacked their houses, opening fire on the buildings and then violently beating the men. A tense atmosphere prevailed in al-Miqdadiyah following the raids as fear that Shi‘i sectarian militias who are concurrently members of the puppet army and police will resume.

Armed men assassinate Chairman of tribal council in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Makkah time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men attacked and killed the Chairman of the tribal council in the northern city of Kirkuk at 10:30am local time Monday morning. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that unknown men armed with machine guns attacked the car carrying Shaykh Badr Hashim and his son ‘Ali Badr Hashim in the al-Baruk Khan area in central Kirkuk. The correspondent reported that the attack left Shaykh Badr Hashim dead and his son severely wounded.

Resistance fighters ambush US patrol in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 12:29pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US patrol in the northern city of al-Mawsil. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light and medium arms attacked a US patrol on the main road in the al-Intisar neighborhood of southwestern al-Mawsil. Three US troops were wounded in the attack, one of them severely. The Resistance fighters left the area having suffered no casualties of their own.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into an puppet “Iraqi National Guard” check point in Tall ‘Afar west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Tall ‘Afar as saying that the blast, on the outskirts of the city, disabled one puppet “Guard” vehicle and killed two puppet “National Guards” and wounded seven more of them.

Resistance bombards British headquarters in al-Basrah before dawn Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds and four medium-range Katyusha rockets into the headquarters of British occupation forces in the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah at 3am local time Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Barradi‘iyah district of al-Basrah as saying that the British forces that have set themselves up in the former presidential palaces in the city took direct hits from the rockets and shells and that violent explosions went off inside the British headquarters, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

In a dispatch posted at 7:50pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier a US warplane struck a house in ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad. The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source as saying that the American air raid killed four civilians: a man, his wife and their two children, both under five years of age. The source said that victims were a Sunni family that had fled from the rampant sectarian kidnappings and murders in the southern city of al-Basrah.
Four US troops reported killed in Resistance rocket attack on Humvee in ar-Ramadi midday Tuesday.
In a dispatch posted at 4pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fighter fired an S-5K rocket at a US Humvee in the al-Mal‘ab section of ar-Ramadi at midday Tuesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that the Resistance fighter scored a direct hit on the Humvee, blowing it into small pieces.
The force of the explosion blew the door of the Humvee, into a house in the area near where the attack took place. The homeowner said the explosion threw the Humvee door into the doorway of his kitchen. Residents of al-Mal‘ab told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Americans later put the remains of four dead US soldiers in plastic bags and evacuated them to the base they have set up in the former Agricultural College located east of the city.
Resistance fighters assault US-occupied Immigration Building in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the Immigration building in downtown ar-Ramadi, a facility that the US military have taken over and turned into one of their local headquarters in the city. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, pipe rockets, and mortars attacked the American-occupied facility, disabling a US military vehicle and inflicting material damage on the camp.
A number of US troops who were in the building were killed or wounded, the correspondent reported. No details on the nature or extent of US casualties were available, the correspondent reported, because the fighting itself was intense and because afterwards, US troops opened fire indiscriminately around the area to keep anyone from approaching.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in ar-Ramadi.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dubbat as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the neighborhood went off by a patrol of six American Humvees. The blast destroyed one Humvee, killing or wounding the five American troops aboard it.

US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter amidst spate of Resistance attacks in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance had carried out several attacks on US and Iraqi puppet forces in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad in the previous 24 hours. The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-‘Annaz area of eastern al-Fallujah as saying that Iraqi Resistance fighters had abducted and killed four puppet “Iraqi National Guards” on the main road in the area as they were headed towards the puppet “Guard” base in az-Zaydan.
The witnesses said that the bodies of the four were found on a farm road in al-‘Annaz. In a separate incident an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the as-Sajar area of northeastern al-Fallujah. A US patrol was moving down a farm road in the area when one of the Americans took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly. Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US military camp in the as-Sajar area of al-Fallujah with four 60mm mortar rounds, striking the camp directly and sending smoke billowing up from the facility.
On Tuesday morning, Resistance fighters equipped with light arms ambushed a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the ath-Tharthar road north of the city, damaging vehicles in the patrol and wounding three soldiers, one of them an American. Two civilians who were nearby when the battle broke out were also wounded.

In a dispatch posted at 4:18pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that for the second day in a row US troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies have kept the Baghdad districts of al-‘Amiriyah and al-Ghazaliyah sealed off as they continue raiding house after house and arresting residents round the clock. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that US forces deployed sniper atop buildings all along al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street and al-Munazzamah Street and set up fixed observation posts around the mosques in al-‘Amiriyah.
The witnesses reported that dozens of local people had been arrested and that the soldiers of the Iraqi puppet army were robbing the homes they searched, taking money and gold jewelry from the mainly Sunni residents of the area. Because the Americans have shut off the area, local residents have no running water, no electricity, and no cooking gas in their homes. Many local people have been seen sharing their supplies of bread, water, and medicine to treat the effects of heat for their children, since water and electricity are no longer available. Many children are said to be ill as a result.
Local residents were also banned from holding early morning and late night prayers in local mosques. During the remainder of the day, mosques are largely empty with only people living nearby venturing out to pray.
Resistance car bomb targets puppet police patrol near Baghdad’s Diyala Bridge.
In a dispatch posted at 9:52am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded on the main road near the Diyala Bridge in southeastern Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the explosives-laden car had been parked by the side of the road and that it blew up as a puppet police patrol was driving past. The source said that the explosion killed one puppet policeman and three civilians who happened to be nearby at the time. One puppet policeman and two civilians were also wounded.

In a dispatch posted at 7:55pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces fired six rockets at Kirkuk Airport, a facility that the US forces have occupied and turned into a headquarters for themselves. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the rockets sent a pillar of thick smoke rising into the sky. The source said that swarms of US helicopters prowled the skies over the area after the attack looking for the Resistance fighters who fired off the barrage.

In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet forces went out raiding homes and arresting local residents in the area of Kirkuk in northern Iraq at dawn on Tuesday. The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that the puppet forces raided the villages of al-Burayj, al-Qassamiyah, as-Silahijah and ash-Shajarah, arresting 27 villages and stealing their possessions. The correspondent reported that the sweep ended at 11am local time Tuesday morning and the 27 captive villagers were taken away to an unknown destination.

In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the al-Karamah area southeast of al-Mawsil. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Karamah neighborhood as saying that a bomb planted on the main street blew up by a passing puppet police patrol, disabling a Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to the puppet police and killing one of the puppet policemen, and seriously wounding three more of them.

Followers of Shi‘i cleric clash with puppet police in Karbala’.
In a dispatch posted at 11:37am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed clashes had broken out between the Iraqi puppet police and supporters of Shi‘i religious authority Mahmud al-Husayni in the southern city of Karbala’. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the fighting erupted when puppet police surrounded the home of Mahmud al-Husayni, the fourth highest religious authority in the Shi‘i religious hierarchy in Iraq.
Witnesses said that six people were wounded in the fighting: two puppet policemen and four of al-Husayni’s followers. The correspondent reported that the situation in Karbala’ was tense after the puppet police had imposed a curfew in the city following clashes. Shaykh al-Husayni was reported abducted from his office in Baghdad on Sunday, while on a visit to his followers there.
