Resistance mortars blast puppet police stations in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired Iraqi Resistance forces mounted mortar attacks on two puppet police stations in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, 7km southwest of al-Fallujah Wednesday morning.
The ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the al-Ikha’ puppet police station took direct hits from two mortar shells, prompting the puppet policemen to open fire indiscriminately around their station, even though the mortar shells came from “far away” local residents complained.
At about the same time, Resitance fighters fired five mortar rounds into another puppet police station in the area. No further details on that attack were available.
Ar-Ramadi.
US troops arrest more than 50 local residents in campaign of mass raids and searches.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops arrested more than 50 people in a campaign of mass raids, searches, and arrests that they launched in the as-Sufiyah neighborhood area in northern ar-Ramadi at dawn Wednesday.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Sufiyah as saying that American troops with helicopter gun ships providing air cover carried out a campaign lasting several hours against more than 30 specific houses. The US troops arrested more than 50 local residents of various ages.

Baath Party issues warning against sectarianism.
The Arab Baath Socialist Party of Iraq issued a Statement on Tuesday in which it denounced sectarianism and called on Iraqis to unite their ranks for the liberation of the country.
The statement, issued by the Culture and Information Department of the Baath Party noted that the US set out from the start of its occupation to destroy the institutions of the Republic of Iraq and to create a whole new system based on giving certain positions to representative of certain religious sects. This could only lead, the statement said, to the partition of the country.
The statement noted that regionally the United States found regional backing for this plan of sectarian division of the country in the government of Iran and in several Arab states, and internally among individuals who sold out the country for personal interests.
The statement sectarian atrocity had reached an unprecedented peak in the sectarian massacres in western Baghdad’s al-Jihad district and warned that this was clearly aimed at preventing the liberation of the country.
The Baath statement called “patriotic, Arab Nationalist and Islamic forces to unite their efforts, because the danger of ethnic particularism and sectarianism has grown rampant and is spreading, but it must be isolated. Its meaning and aims must be exposed, because ethnic particularism is a tool for carrying out what the occupation itself was unable to accomplish.” The statement called on Iraqis to “support all the forces for good with resistance and jihad” and not “to slip into the abyss of sectarianism themselves for this is what sectarian ethnic particularism seeks to draw the resistance forces into.”
“The national Resistance represents all of the people of all religious denominations and ethnic backgrounds,” the statement said, warning against the sectarian danger.
Twenty bodies of Sunnis tortured and murdered by Shi‘i sectarians brought in to medical facilities in Baghdad Wednesday, as suspicious effort to arouse division between Iraqi Sunnah and Shi‘ah escalates.
In a dispatch posted at 6:15pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a total of 63 bodies of Sunnis who had been tortured and murdered in apparent sectarian killings were found in various parts of Baghdad in the preceding 25 hour period.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 20 of the bodies were found in the center of Baghdad and 43 more were found in al-Mahmudiyah. (See related story under Babil Province; al-Mahmudiyah.)
A medical source told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Forensic Medicine Hospital said that in addition to the 43 bodies brought in from al-Mahmudiyah, 20 bodies were found in various parts of Baghdad in the midday and afternoon of Wednesday. The source said that all the bodies showed obvious signs of “barbaric” torture.
Saddam Husayn sends letter to the American people.
The patriotic Iraqi website at www.albasrah.net published an English translation of a handwritten letter from imprisoned Iraqi President Saddam Husayn on Wednesday.
In his letter, dated 7 July, the Iraqi President tells Americans that their president, George Bush, repeatedly lied to them and recounts specific instances in detail. Saddam Husayn writes that the US is heading for a more costly defeat in Iraq than that suffered by America in Viet Nam.
Saddam Husayn noted that the days when big organized armies could win wars by scattering the formations of the opposing army were gone. The Iraqi people are waging a new kind of warfare that is turning even technical superiority and high-tech gagetry into a burden. America therefore needs to withdraw from Iraq before it loses more than the war, Saddam Husayn explained.
“So will America trust the voice of rationality and logic that calls for the preservation of what still remains,” the Iraqi President asked, “or will Satan the deceiver and the hate-filled supporters of Zionism keep pushing the Americans until the waves swallow them and they sink to the depths of the raging sea?”

Resistance sharpshooter kills two puppet “Shock Troops” in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the south Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Sihhah as saying that two puppet “Shock Troops” were on guard duty at a temporary check point on the main road in the neighborhood when a Resistance sharpshooter shot and killed them, one after the other.
Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in southeastern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet police on as-Sina‘ah Street near the Technology University in southeastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that an explosives-packed car that had been parked on the street blew up as a puppet police patrol drove by. The blast destroyed a patrol vehicle, killing one puppet policeman and one civilian and wounding 18 more people, two of them puppet police.
Resistance fighters assassinate major general in puppet “Interior Ministry.”
In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier that three cars carrying Iraqi Resistance men opened fire on Major General Fakhri ‘Abd al-Husayn, the First Counselor for the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” in Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the carloads of Resistance fighters drove up to the home of General ‘Abd al-Husayn in central Baghdad’s ad-Dawudi neighborhood and unleashed a spray of machine gun fire, killing him, his personal driver, and four of his guards.
Resistance group reports bomb attack in Baghdad Sunday.
In a dispatch posted on the Internet Wednesday, the Iraqi Resistance group Jaysh ar-Rashideen announced that on at 11am local time Sunday, 16 July its fighters had detonated a bomb by a US Humvee near the al-Jadiriyah bridge, disabling the vehicle and killing or wounding all the US troops aboard it.

Resistance bomb targets fuel convoy on its way to US bases south of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a convoy of tankers hauling fuel o US bases on the highway north of al-Yusufiyah, about 30km southwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ar-Rashid region north of al-Yusufiyah as saying that the bomb completely destroyed on fuel truck, killing its driver who worked for the occupation forces.
Resistance group reports mortar bombardment, ambush on US forces in al-Yusufiyah Sunday.
In a dispatch posted on the Internet Wednesday, the Iraqi Resistance group Jaysh ar-Rashideen announced that on at 3pm Sunday, 16 July its fighters had fired four 60mm mortar rounds at US forces in the al-Yusufiyah ﾐ al-Qaraghul area.
The organization also said that a unit of its fighters armed with light and medium weapons and RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades attacked a US detachment in the al-Yusufiyah ﾐ al-Qaraghul area at 4pm Sunday afternoon, 16 July.
Al-Mahmudiyah.
In three days, puppet “Shock troops,” Shi‘i sectarian militias kill 43 Sunnis in sectarian murders in al-Mahmudiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the City Hospital of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad, had announced that 43 Sunnis were killed between Monday, 17 July and Wednesday, 19 July.
The al-Mahmudiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a physician in the City Hospital as saying that a “barbarous” spate of sectarian revenge killings was underway. Many of the victims were pulled from their homes and executed at their front doors with the help of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir).”
Local residents pleaded for the media to come to their area and film the killing an destruction that the puppet “Shock Troops” and sectarian militias were perpetrating.

Kirkuk.
Resistance carries out multiple attacks on US, Iraqi puppet forces in Kiruk.
In a dispatch posted at 1:25pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces mounted several attacks on US occupation troops and their Iraqi puppet regime allies in the southern and western parts of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Kirkuk puppet police as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the 1st of June Road in western Kirkuk. The blast disabled a Humvee and wounded three American troops.
A second Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by another US column in the village of ash-Shahiriyah on the road south to Bayji. That explosion disabled a Humvee and wounded the four American troops aboard it.
A third Iraqi Resistance bomb went off on the road to ar-Riyad, about 25km southweset of Kirkuk. That explosion disabled a US armored vehicle but US and Iraqi puppet army troops encircled the area before correspondents could find out anything about the nature or extent of casualties.
Resistance fighters also moutnted an ambush on Iraqi puppet forces at a check point in the al-Mashru‘ area of ar-Rashad in southwestern Kirkuk. Six Iraqi puppet soldiers were killed and seven more of them wounded, some of them severely.
At the time of reporting, Mafkarat al-Islam noted that US and Iraqi puppet regime forces were carrying out military operations in the southwestern areas of Kirkuk. The correspondent reported that those operations in response to the upsurge in Resistance attacks.
Mysterious car bomb explodes in central Kirkuk killing, wounding local civilians.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded in central Kirkuk on Wednesday morning, killing and wounding a number of civilians.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Kirkuk as saying that the car blew up in front of a popular coffee house near the Kirkuk Appeals Court in the middle of the city. Two civilians were killed and 12 more wounded.
Al-Qadisiyah Province.
Ad-Diwaniyah.
Badr Brigade commander in ad-Diwaniyah gunned down by Iraqi Resistance.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed the commander of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades in ad-Diwaniyah, 120km southeast of Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance men ambushed the civilian car carrying the Badr Brigade commander for ad-Diwaniyah, Abu ‘Ali al-‘Akrawi, and two of his body guards on Tuesday evening. Al-‘Akrawi died instantly and the Resistance fighters were able to leave the scene without suffering any losses in their ranks.
