Resistance fighter wearing explosive belt blows up amidst US soldiers, reportedly killing two Americans.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter wearing an explosive belt blew himself up by a US foot patrol in the al-‘Ubaydi area near the city of al-Qa’im, not far from the Syrian border in far western Iraq.
The al-Qa’im correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-‘Ubaydi as saying that the man suddenly appeared in the midst of American soldiers who were on a foot patrol and blew himself up, killing two Americans and wounding six more.
After the attack, US troops surrounded the area and were still encircling the attack zone when the correspondent filed his report.

Resistance ambush leaves US soldier reported dead in al-Fallujah Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:05am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting broke out Monday night between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US occupation troops in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons ambushed a US patrol on 40 Street in the eastern part of the city, damaging two patrol vehicles and killing one US soldier and wounding four more of them.
In another engagement, Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol in the an-Nazal neighborhood of central al-Fallujah, destroying a patrol vehicle and killing three of the puppet “Guards” and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 4:15pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the ‘Arab Jabbur area of southern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Arab Jabbur as saying that the bomb, which went off on the road to the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah, destroyed a Humvee, killing two American troops who were aboard it and wounding two more.
Resistance fighters ambush, kill Badr Brigade commander.
In a dispatch posted at 8:40pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed a commander in the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades Tuesday afternoon.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters set up a false roadblock on the two-story bridge and forced the Badr Brigade commander Abu al-Hasan to get out of his car. They then shot him and his five companions.
Witnesses said that Iraqi puppet troops closed down the bridge while other forces pursued the Resistance fighters, but failed to capture them.

Resistance fighters assault puppet police station in Ba‘qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:35am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted a puppet police station in the at-Tahrir neighborhood of southern Ba‘qubah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Tahrir as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the station, killing an officer in the puppet police and wounding four more puppet police, including another officer. One of the Resistance fighters was killed and another wounded in the attack, but the Resistance men were able to with draw from the area.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in al-Hawijah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hawijah as saying that a bomb that had been planted on the main road opposite the city car park blew up as a puppet police patrol went by. The blast destroyed one patrol vehicle, killing four puppet policemen and wounding a fifth.

Resistance bomb explodes by puppet “National Guard” patrol southwest of Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the village of al-Khirbah on the road to ar-Riyad, southweset of the city, as saying that the bomb destroyed a patrol vehicle, killing one puppet “Guard” and wounding three more of them.

High-explosive bomb rips through US armored vehicle in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb went off by a US military column on the main road in the Rabi‘ah area of northwest al-Mawsil.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb completely destroyed a US armored vehicle, killing or wounding the five American soldiers aboard.
US soldier reported killed by Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an American soldier in the at-Tahrir neighborhood of eastern al-Mawsil.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an American patrol was making its way through at-Tahrir when one of the Americans was struck and killed by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet.

In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a patrol of Iraqi puppet police in the al-Muthanna neighborhood of western al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Muthanna as saying that Resistance fighters ambushed th patrol at the al-Hudaba’ intersection, killing one puppet policeman and wounding two more of them.

American-backed Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militia arrest more than 50 people for lacking footwear after crowds pelt pro-American Shi‘i sectarian leader ‘Ammar al-Hakim with shoes.
In a dispatch posted at 1:42pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-American Kurdish separatist security forces arrested more than 50 Iraqi Kurds after an incident in which crowds of Kurds beat ‘Ammar al-Hakim, the son of the chief of the pro-American Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hakim, with their shoes.
The Irbil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that ‘Ammar al-Hakim attended a celebration to open a street in the middle of the northern Iraqi city of Irbil. Local American-backed Kurdish separatist leaders had named the street Muhsin al-Hakim after a leader of the Badr Brigade militia, the armed wing of SCIRI whose nearly 30,000 members took part together with US forces in the invasion of Iraq and have since been the backbone of the puppet security forces protecting the US occupation soldiers.
‘Ammar al-Hakim showed up with a large contingent of SCIRI leaders and the puppet “President” of the separatist “Kurdistan” enclave in which Irbil is located.
Witnesses said that despite the high security and heavy deployment of pro-American Kurdish-separatist Peshmergah militiamen, local Kurdish people began pelting al-Hakim and his entourage with their shoes. Angered at the attitude of the Kurdish masses, al-Hakim decided to leave the area, but the pro-American Kurdish officials persuaded him to stay for the opening ceremony, promising to arrest all the attackers.
Witnesses said that the puppet Peshmergah militia proceeded to arrest more than 50 people, picking up anyone who was wearing one shoe or who was barefoot. The Peshmergah gunmen had to surround the crowd and then examine them one by one to pick out those who lacked footwear.
Most of Iraq’s Kurdish population, though not of Arab origin, is Sunni Muslim. They, just like Sunni Arabs, have been outraged by the murderous sectarian abuses carried out by the American-backed SCIRI and its Badr Brigade militia.

Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani urges support for Lebanon and Hizballah against Zionist aggression.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Shi‘i religious authority Ayatallah ‘Ali as-Sistani issued a statement denouncing the Zionist military operations against Lebanon and calling on the world to take action to stop the aggression.
The an-Najaf correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that as-Sistani issued his statement following an appeal by Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, the General Secretary of Hizballah in Lebanon that he make a statement stressing the obligation of everyone to stand with Hizballah against the Zionist onslaught.

Bus bomb in al-Kufah kills 53 construction workers.
In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded in the midst of a crowd of construction workers in al-Kufah, about 160km southwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an explosives laden minibus drove onto al-Mastar Square. One man got out and invited men looking for construction work to get aboard. Once they had crowded onto the bus, the vehicle exploded, killing or wounding more than 150 people according to a medical source in al-Kufah Hospital. The source cautioned that the number was expected to rise.
An American Associated Press (AP) report quoted Iraqi puppet regime officials as saying that 53 had died and 105 were wounded in the bombing, which occurred at 7:30am Tuesday morning.
