In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in as-Saqlawiyah, just northwest of al-Fallujah (which is about 60km west of Baghdad). The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Saqlawiyah as saying that the shells scored direct the US-occupied facility, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance rockets pound US base west of Rawah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:13pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three medium-range rockets at a US military headquarters in the area near the banks of the Euphrates to the west of Rawah, about315km northwest of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Rawah as saying that the rockets set off explosions inside the US-occupied base and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

In a dispatch posted at 12:44pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US military column in the middle of ar-Ramadi. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that Resistance fighters armed with rocket launchers attacked a US column in the city, completely destroying an American tank and killing or wounding the five American troops aboard it.

In a dispatch posted at 12:33pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol on a farm road in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb killed one American soldier and wounded three more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 12:33pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the middle of al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Khalidiyah as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the main street in the middle of the city blew up by a US column, completely destroying an American tank and killing of wounding the five men aboard it.

Resistance bomb blasts US armored vehicle in southwestern Abu Ghurayb area.
In a dispatch posted at 1:18pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of several American Humvees and Bradley armored vehicles on a farm road linking the az-Zaydan area with the a-‘Annaz area of southwestern Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in az-Zaydan as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the farm road blew up, disabling one armored vehicle and wounding four American troops who were aboard it.

Bodies of 27 tortured, murdered Sunnis discovered in various parts of Baghdad on Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 6:15pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a medical source in the Forenseic Medicine Hospital in Baghdad had said that from 8am until 6pm on Monday a total of 27 bodies of Sunnis who had been murdered by Shi‘i sectarian death squads were found in Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the medical source, who asked not to be identified, as saying that the details regarding the bodies are as follows:
Three of the bodies belonged to Sunni students who were abducted by Shi‘i sectarian militiamen as they were coming out of al-Mustansiriyah University on Palestine Street in Baghdad.
Fifteen bodies arrived at the hospital at 11am local time. They belonged to Sunni employees who were abducted by Jaysh al-Mahdi Shi‘i sectarian militiamen in the al-‘Amil neighborhood as they were on their way to receive their pay from the ar-Rusafah branch of the ar-Rafidayn Bank. Their bodies were found at the gas works in that area.
Four bodies arrived at the hospital at 1pm local time Monday. They belonged to Sunni Iraqis who worked in an office on Beirut square where foreign money was exchanged. Their bodies were found near the former al-Bakr University.
Five bodies belonged to Sunni boys, the oldest only 17. They were found in the al-Ma‘alif area of southeastern Baghdad.
The source said that the bodies had been “extremely savagely tortured” the source said. The three students found on Palestine street, for example, were found with a kind of gum jammed into their nostrils and their mouths covered with tape, causing them to suffocate.
Resistance fighters gun down three pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen, concurrently puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops” in ambush in Baghdad’s az-Za‘faraniyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 1:15pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a civilian car carrying three members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militia in southeastern Baghdad’s az-Za‘faraniyah district. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in az-Za‘faraniyah as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked the car and killed all the Badr Brigade gunmen inside. The Resistance men then withdrew from the area. A check of the identities of the three dead gunmen established that in addition to being members in the Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militia, they were concurrently members of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir).”

In a dispatch posted at 12:29pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the Iraqi puppet army headquarters in the western Baghdad al-‘Amiriyah neighborhood. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-‘Amiriyah as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the headquarters, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
Resistance bombards headquarters of Shi‘ sectarian militias in Baghdad’s ash-Shu‘lah district.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets and four 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the Shi‘i sectarian militias in the ash-Shu‘lah neighborhood of western Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the barrage scored direct hits on the headquarters, causing material damage to the facility and killing or wounding a number of Shi‘i sectarian militiamen.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 3pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the al-Miqdadiyah area, 85km northeast of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Miqdadiyah as saying that a Resistance bomb planted by the side of the al-Harwinah public road in western al-Miqdadiyah blew up, disabling one American armored vehicle. US forces quickly imposed a security cordon for themselves around the attack zone, making information on the nature or extent of American casualties unobtainable.

Resistance car bomb targets puppet police patrol in eastern al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet police in the popular market in the al-Jaza’ir section of the eastern part of the northern city of al-Mawsil. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Jaza’ir as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the main road in the market blew up when a puppet police patrol drove past. The witnesses said that the explosion destroyed a patrol vehicle and killed one puppet policeman and wounded four more of them. In addition, three civilians were killed and 18 more wounded in the attack.
Resistance bomb rips through American supply convoy south of al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 1:49pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a convoy of trucks loaded with materiel for US bases as it drove along the road to Baghdad south of the city of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq. The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb, which had been planted near the al-Badush area, completely destroyed one of the trucks in the convoy, killing its driver who was working for the US occupation troops.

Puppet regime security forces storm into house in al-Basrah, murder resident, son.
In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet government agents burst into the home of a local Sunni resident and shot and killed him together with his son, in the first such open sectarian assassination by regime agents yet heard of. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses al-Basrah as saying that 10 official cars with no license plates in which were men in puppet police uniform and plain clothes raided the area of as-Sankar and stormed into the house of Muhammad Falih, a local resident. The attackers killed Falih and his son Karrar in front of other family members inside their home. The attackers then kidnapped five residents of the area, some of them relatives of Falih and drove off with them to an unknown destination. This was the first known incident where puppet security forces stormed into a house to kill their victim. Hitherto, sectarian murders had been carried out on people who had been observed on the street or abducted from the streets by sectarian militias.
Resistance bomb blasts British supply convoy north of al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a convoy loaded with supplies for British occupation troops on the main road between al-‘Amarah and al-Basrah in southern Iraq. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police in al-‘Amarah as saying that the bomb completely destroyed one of the trucks in the convoy, severely wounding its driver.
