Resistance bomb leaves US soldier reported dead northwest of ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 11:17am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the Jazirah area of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Jazirat ar-Ramadi, located northwest of the city, as saying that the bomb went off on a farm road that runs from their area to the International Highway. The blast disabled a US Humvee, killing one American soldier and severely wounding three more of them.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb rips through US patrol in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on a farm road in the south of the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, about 7km southwest of al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah as saying that the bomb went off by an American patrol that was moving along al-Bu Yusuf Road. The blast disabled an American vehicle, killing or wounding the four US soldiers who were aboard it.
Two Resistance attacks target US, Iraqi puppet “National Guards” in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 9:57am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out two attacks in al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad, striking a US patrol and Iraqi puppet army soldiers in the previous 24 hours.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers ambushed a patrol of US forces by the new bridge in the western part of the city, completely destroying a Humvee and killing or wounding the four American troops aboard it.
In the other incident, an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol on the main road in the al-Jumhuriyah neighborhood in the middle of al-Fallujah, destroying a patrol vehicle. After the attack, the puppet “National Guards” opened fire indiscriminately, killing one civilian passerby and wounding two more of them.

Resistance car bomber kills seven Iraqi puppet army troops as command post in western Baghdad Wednesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 7:50pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove a car bomb into a command post of the Iraqi puppet army in the western Baghdad district of al-‘Amiriyah.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fighter drove an explosives-laden car into an Iraqi puppet army command post near the al-Jihad neighborhood bridge in the al-‘Amiriyah section of Baghdad. Eyewitnesses reported that the car, an Opel drove into the check point manned by Iraqi puppet army troops. The Resistance fighter spoke to the puppet army soldiers and then when a number of them had gathered around him, he detonated the charges packed in his car.
Owners of nearby shops said that more than seven Iraqi puppet army troops were killed and a number more wounded in the blast. US occupation troops and Iraqi puppet forces then surrounded the area where they also imposed a curfew.
Russian President Putin orders Russian special services to track down and kill the murderers of Russian diplomats.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Russia’s special services to do everything necessary to find and eliminate the killers of the Russian diplomats in Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 3pm Moscow time Wednesday afternoon, the official Kremlin news service said that the Russian President made the statement during a meeting with Saudi prince Salman bin ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Al Su‘ud. Putin told the prince that Russia would be grateful to its friends for any information about the killers.
The Russian President had a short meeting on Wednesday with Saudi Prince Salman who was on a visit to Moscow at the invitation of the city’s mayor Yuri Luzhkov.
In a dispatch posted at 5:32pm Moscow time, RIA-Novosti reported Nikolai Patrushev, the head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) as telling journalists that his service had received the instructions. “We will work to ensure that not one of the terrorists who committed the crime escapes just punishment,” he said.
Patrushev told journalists: “We will of course work along these lines however much time and effort it takes. We must work so that not one terrorist who committed this crime can escape responsibility for it.”
The Russian Security chief emphasized that the task of finding the killers of the Russian diplomats had come from the Russian President. Patrushev noted, “this is not a task chosen at random, it is consistent with the logic of what we are doing.”
Meanwhile, Sergei Mironov, the speaker of Russia’s upper chamber of parliament, the Federation Council, said he hoped for assistance from foreign special services to locate the killers.
“I would also like to recall the opinion that Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov voiced several months ago on the possibility of delivering preventive strikes against [overseas] terrorist bases that threaten Russia’s security,” Mironov told a news conference in the French city of Strasbourg, where he is currently on a visit.
For its part the lower house of Russia’s parliament, the State Duma held a plenary meeting in which the murder of the Russian diplomats was discussed on Wednesday. The Duma issued a statement deploring the deaths of the diplomats, which it called a “heinous crime.”
The Russian Duma also assigned responsibility for the killings to the American occupation. The Duma statement noted that the murder had become possible “because of the deepening crisis in Iraq, while the occupying countries are losing control over the situation and terror and violence are becoming the order of the day in that country,” according to the Russian news agency Itar-TASS.

Resistance bomb wounds US troops north of al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:23am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the highway near the ad-Dayirah area of northern al-Yusufiyah, about 30km southwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dayirah as saying that the bomb disabled a vehicle hat was transporting American military equipment, wounding two US troops who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb southwest of Kirkuk reportedly kills four US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column near ar-Riyad, about 25km southwest of Kirkuk, on the road to Bayji.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Riyad as saying that the bomb completely destroyed a US Humvee, killing four American troops who were aboard it.

Massive bomb tears through US column in al-Mawsil Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 9:20pm Makkah time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a massive Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column near the bridge in the middle of al-Mawsil at about 9am Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces closed off the entire area after the explosion for several hours and imposed a kind of curfew, making it impossible to ascertain the nature or extent of US casualties in the attack.
Eyewitnesses confirmed, however, that the blast was the result of a massive high-explosive bomb that went off by a US forces.
Double Resistance bombing leaves four US troops reported killed west of al-Mawsil midday Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 8:50pm Makkah time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by the side of the road between al-Mawsil and Tall ‘Afar at midday Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the command of the al-Mawsil puppet police as saying that two bombs, made of old Austrian artillery shells of the type used at the end of the war with Iran in the 1980s, bundled together and planted in line separated by 20 meters.
The two bombs went off by a convoy of several American Humvees at about 12 noon, destroying one of the Humvees ans disabling a second. Four US soldiers were killed and five more wounded in the double bombing.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that American forces closed the road for more than four hours during which time three US helicopters evacuated the dead and wounded from the area.
The deadly attack was the second Resistance bombing to target US forces on the road to Tall ‘Afar Wednesday morning.
US troops wounded in Resistance bombing west of al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road between al-Mawsil and Tall ‘Afar to the west on Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb went off by a passing column of several American Humvees and armored vehicles, disabling one armored vehicle and wounding four US troops.
