Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing east of ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol as it drove along the main road in the al-Bu Fahd area east of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.

�

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Bu Fahd as saying that the bomb went off on a farm road leading to the eastern entrance to ar-Ramadi as a patrol of five American Humvees was driving past.� The blast completely destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.

Mysterious bombs target civilians in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious bomb exploded in a popular market in Baghdads al-Bayya district at midday Friday.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast killed three civilians and wounded 15 more of them.

�

Earlier, In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious car bomb exploded in the district of an-Nahdah in eastern Baghdad.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in an-Nahdah as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been left by the side of the road in the popular market blew up killing six civilians and wounding 12 more of them according to preliminary figures supplied by a member of the puppet police who surrounded the area after the blast.

�

In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime these attacks� on Friday appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.

�

Such mysterious bombings are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.

Despite buildup of US forces in Baghdad, Resistance rockets Green Zone.

In a dispatch posted at 10:26am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three medium-range rockets into the high-security district around the Republican Palace in downtown Baghdad, the area dubbed the Green Zone by the Americans where they have occupation headquarters in their embassy an that of Britain.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Salihiyah, which is adjacent to the Green Zone as saying that the rockets slammed into the middle of the Green Zone sending up plumes of smoke.� US helicopters were then seen hovering at low altitude over the area.

Unprecedented US forces deploy in Baghdad at dawn Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 9:20am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces began deploying in large numbers in Baghdad at dawn on Friday.� The introduction of US troops in strengths not seen for a long time was aimed at implementing the plan of the puppet prime minister to pacify the occupied Iraqi capital.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that various types of US troop as well as Iraqi puppet army and police forces were to be seen in the main and sides streets of the city, and on the borders of the neighborhoods.

�

Witnesses said that at the time of reporting the US and puppet troops were putting the predominantly Sunni neighborhoods under intensive supervision.� US and puppet troops were carrying out searches and raids inside and outside those neighborhoods, searching cars and even pedestrians as they came and went.

�

The sharply heightened security measures have resulted in long lines of cars and heavy traffic jams as traffic backed up entering and leaving every neighborhood of the occupied Iraqi capital.� Adding to the tension was the presence of American snipers perched atop buildings throughout the city, providing cover for the checkpoints on the ground below.

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing south of Balad.

In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the main road south of Balad, about 85km north of Baghdad.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Balad as saying that the bomb destroyed a Humvee, killing three US soldiers and wounding two more of them.

Buhriz.

Five beheaded bodies found in Buhriz Friday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 6:25pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi puppet police found five beheaded bodies in the Buhriz area south of Baqubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad Friday morning.

�

The Baqubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Lieutenant Ali Abd as-Salam of the puppet police of Baqubah as saying that their men had found five beheaded bodies in a citrus grove in Buhriz.� He made no mention of their identity.� Four cars were also found in the same area, all had been totally burned up.

Resistance fighters attack checkpoint, killing seven Iraqi puppet army troops.

In a dispatch posted at12:30pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters assaulted a temporary checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet troops on the main road south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ar-Rashid on the way to al-Yusufiyah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ar-Rashid as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, pipe rockets, and 82mm mortars.� The attackers destroyed the checkpoint, set to Iraqi puppet army vehicles ablaze, and killed seven Iraqi puppet troops and wounded eight others.� The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.

Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq denounces US massacres in al-Yusufiyah on Wednesday, 24 May.

�

The Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, the highest Sunni Muslim religious authority in occupied Iraq, issued a statement on Thursday denouncing the massacres carried out by US troops and their puppet allies in the area of al-Yusufiyah, about 30km southwest of Baghdad.

�

US occupation forces, the [puppet] government National Guard, the repressive agencies of the [puppet] government, and the parties gathered under its umbrella have embarked on a dangerous escalation and a new link in the series of their slaughters and massacres of the innocent civilian population of our countr, the statement said.

�

These forces committed barbarous massacres in the area of Bazayiz al-Yusufiyah, south of Baghdad.� According to the final toll of their operation of Wednesday, 24 May they had executed 10 persons and arrested about 40 in that area, in addition to beating up women, children, and elderly persons and burning a number of homes, farms, and belongings of local citizens.� Even their livestock was not safe from their viciousness, for they too were killed, the statement went on.

�

The Association of Muslim Scholars statement concluded, The Association announces the news of these attacks and sharply condemns and denounces them, warning the occupation and the [puppet] government against continuing along this hateful sectarian course.� It holds them responsible for all that is going on.� It affirms to them that this approach will only yield them more vengeance from the Iraqi people who are tired of the vacuous excuses trumped up by those forces to justify their immoral acts.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet police south of Kirkuk.

�

In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of the Iraqi puppet policeon the road to Baghdad from Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Kirkuk puppet police as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road to Baghdad destroyed a patrol vehicle, killing one puppet policeman and wounding three more of them.

Resistance fighters kill officer in puppet police Thursday night.

�

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed an officer in the puppet police in Kirkuk in northern Iraq on Thursday night.

�

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns shot and killed the officer known as Naqib Salam on the road to his house late Thursday night.� The fighters then withdrew from the area.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in eastern al-Mawsil.

In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the as-Sihhah Tunnel area of eastern al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the as-Sihhah neighborhood as saing that the bomb, planted by the main road near the as-Sihhah Tunnel blew up as a patrol of six American armored vehicles drove past.

�

The blast destroyed one of the armored vehicles, killing two US troops and wounding three more of them.� After the explosion, US troops surrounded the area and prevented anyone from approaching.

�

Resistance bomb in al-Mawsil kills four puppet army troops in al-Mawsil.

�

In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Friday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in the al-Islah az-Zirai neighborhood of western al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.

The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Islah az-Zirai neighborhood as saying that� the bomb disabled a puppet army pickup, killing four puppet army troops and wounding two more of them.
