Resistance rockets US checkpoint in Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:10pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces rocketed a US checkpoint in the suburb of Amiriyat al-Fallujah, about 7km southwest of al-Falujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local witnesses as saying that they could hear the sound of a powerful explosion coming from inside the checkpoint and saw clouds of smoke billowing up from the position after a rocket blasted into it.
Afterwards, US warplanes flew around over the area at extremely low altitutes for a period of time.
Resistance bomb rips through puppet army patrol in Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 8:10pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet army troops on the main road in the suburb of Amiriyat al-Fallujah, about 7km southwest of al-Fallujah.
The Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance bomb exploded by the Iraqi puppet army patrol, destroying a Nissan patrol vehicle and killing three Iraqi puppet army troops and wounding two more of them.
Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills two US troops on patrol in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the al-Muallimin neighborhood of central al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that a US foot patrol was moving along one of the side streets in the al-Muallimin neighborhood when two US soldiers, one after another, took direct hits from a Resistance sharpshooters bullets, killing them instantly.
Resistance bomb in al-Fallujah leaves two US troops reported dead late Friday night.
In a dispatch posted at 9:40am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in northeastern al-Fallujah, late Friday night.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance bomb planted on the road between the al-Askari neighborhood and 40 Street in the eastern part of the city blew up by a US patrol as it drove past. The explosion destroyed an American Humvee, killing two US troops and severely wounding three more of them.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bombards three major US headquarters in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the three main US occupation headquarters in the city of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that the Iraqi Resistance fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the Iraqi Armys Eighth Brigade prior to the American invasion, a facility now occupied by US military forces in the western part of ar-Ramadi
The Resistance also bombarded the US base in the agricultural area east of the city with five 82mm mortar rounds and struck the provincial government building in downtown ar-Ramadi a facility now occupied by American and Iraqi puppet forces and turned into a headquarters with six 60mm mortar shells.
The correspondent reported that plumes of smoke could be seen rising from all three of the American headquarters as swarms of helicopters and US warplanes flew into the area.
Baghdad.
US, puppet troops seal off large areas of Baghdad, make mass arrests Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:48pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army and puppet Interior Ministry Order Preservation Force allies completely surrounded predominantly Sunni neighborhoods of Baghdad at dawn on Saturday morning. The US troops and their puppet allies imposed a ban on vehicle traffic and blocked local residents from leaving their neighborhoods.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the districts of al-Amiriyah, al-Jihad, al-Khadraand the neighborhood of an-Nasij were still surroundedby large forces of American and Iraqi puppet troops at the time of reporting in early afternoon.
The Americans and their puppet allies began launching house-to-house raids and searches in the area of al-Amiriyah near the infamous bomb shelter blown up by American troops in the 1991 air assault on Baghdad in which hundreds of civilians were killed. The Saturday raids and searches there so far resulted in the arrest of about 70 local residents ranging in age from 20 to 60 years, eyewitnesses told the correspondent as of the time of reporting.
The siege of the areas and the raids, searches and arrests were still under way at the time the correspondent filed this story.
Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Bayya.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the al-Bayya area of western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Bayya as saying that the bomb went off by a US patrol on the road to al-Maalif. The witnesses said that the blast disabled a Humvee, wounding two US troops.
US-installed puppet regime immersed in corruption.
The puppet General Inspector in the puppet Iraqi Ministry of Petroleum, Ali Allaq, has issued a report accusing the US-installed Iraqi puppet government of being immersed in corruption and theft, drawing money from smuggling Iraqi oil resources out of the country.
The London-based newspaper al-Hayat reported that the General Inspector in his report estimated that between US$400 million and US$800 million of oil are illegally smuggled out of Iraqs southern ports annually. Allaq said that the black market in gasoline inside Iraq was worth about US$800 million more on an annual basis. In addition, the report stated, the American-installed puppet government subsidizes the import of petroleum products from neighboring countries and a considerable amount of that is also stolen before it reaches the Iraqi consumer.
Ali Allaq concluded that as a result of all this plundering and smuggling of the countrys oil resources, billions of US dollars worth of the countrys wealth have been siphoned off by the corrupt officials of the American backed regime in the last three years.

In a dispatch posted at 5:25pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US-imposed curfew remained in force in the city of Samarra, about 120km north of Baghdad on Saturday for the second straight day as US and puppet troops stormed into houses arresting local residents.
The Samarra correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the city was living through a humanitarian disaster as a result of the until further notice bockade and curfew which was first slapped on the city at 6am Friday morning local time and has continued until the time of writing.
US troops continue to block the citys entrances and exits as their house-to-house raids spread to all the neighborhoods of the city.
As of the time of reporting dozens of people were known to have been arrested in the ferocious campaign against the city. In one raid, puppet troops stormed into a house in the as-Sikak neighborhood of Samarra and killed four unarmed civilians, all members of one family, including a six-year-old girl and her mother. Two other family members were wounded in that raid for no known reason, the correspondent reported.
All forms of normal life have been shut down in Samarra, the correspondent reported, plunging the population into a tragic situation, where many people have no food, fuel or water and no end to the curfew is in sight.
Tikrit.
Resistance fighter wearing explosive belt kills two high-ranking officers in Iraqi puppet army.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fidai fighter blew himself up at the entrance to a camp of the Iraqi puppet army in the middle of Tikrit, about 180km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Tikrit as saying that a Resistance fighter wearing an explosive belt blew himself up by the entrance to the camp, killing two officers in the puppet army, one with the rank of lieutenant colonel and the other a full colonel. Two other puppet soldiers, one an officer, the other an enlisted man were wounded in the blast.
Ad-Duluiyah.
Resistance bombards Iraqi puppet National Guard base in ad-Duluiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage at the Iraqi puppet army camp in ad-Duluiyah, 97km north of Baghdad.
The ad-Duluiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the headquarters of the puppet Iraqi National Guard and pro-US Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militia in the city took direct hits from 10 mortar rounds. The barrage set off explosions inside the camp and sent plumes of smoke rising into the air.

Resistannce mortars blast US base in Kirkuk Airport.
In a dispatch posted at 6pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired seven mortar rounds at Kirkuk Airport, a facility that US forces have taken over and turned into a headquarters of theirs.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that heavy mortar shells began blasting into the airport at about 12:30pm local time Saturday afternoon. The barrage lasted about 10 minutes and sent flame and smoke rising from the northern part of the airport where the main gate is located.
American helicopters flew in and hovered over the base for about an hour following the attack.
Al-Hawijah.
Resistance bomb east of al-Hawijah leaves three US troops reported killed.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road east of al-Hawijah, to the southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hawijah as saying that the bomb exploded by a patrol of several American Humvees and Bradley armored vehicles near the eastern entrance to the city. The blast completely destroyed a Humvee and killed three US troops. Another two American soldiers were wounded in the attack.

Puppet Kurdish regime in northern Iraq declares separate holiday for Kurdish areas alone.
In a dispatch posted at 3:50pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the puppet Kurdish separatist government in the northern, predominantly Kurdish part of Iraq has declared Sunday, 7 May a holiday in their section of the country to honor the declaration of a separatist regional regime following the US occupation
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Irbil reported that Kurdish separatist security forces had significantly increased their security measures, such as closing off predominantly Kurdish areas to all Arabs coming from other parts of Iraq, as well as shutting down official departments in preparation for the holiday.
The gradual partition of Iraq into separate ethnic and religious mini-states in order to facilitate American control has been a feature of US policy since it occupied Iraq in the spring of 2003.
Al-Qadisiyah Province.
Ad-Diwaniyah.
Resistance bomb wounds Polish occupation troops in ad-Diwaniyah.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a Polish military patrol in front of the Agricultural Directorate in ad-Diwaniyah, about 120km south of Baghdad.
The Qatar News Agency, monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, reportedthat a bomb went off as a Polish military patrol was passing in front of the Agricultural Directorate in ad-Diwaniyah when a Resistance bomb exploded, setting fire to a Polish Humvee and wounding two Polish occupation troops.
The conservative Polish government and Polish President Lech Kaczynォski agreed to keep Polish occupation troops in Iraq helping facilitate US control of the country until the end of 2006. A number of opposition parties in the country oppose extending their stay past the end of 2006.

Iraqi Resistance shoots down British helicopter in al-Basrah, reportedly killing four British troops.
In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot down a British helicopter in the al-Jazair section of the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the aircraft was hit as it hovered over the area at low altitude. Witnesses said that after the helicopter was struck by gunfire, flames blazed up on the craft and in fell onto a house in a residential neighborhood in the as-Sai district of central al-Basrah.
The owner of the house told Mafkarat al-Islam that there were body parts of British soldiers strewn all over the roof of his home, which was itself damaged by the impact and then by the fire that followed. Ammunition could be seen exploding inside the wrecked aircraft after it had crashed onto the house.
After the downing, other British helicopters flew in and hovered over the area as the roads to the scene were closed.
The correspondent reported that supporters of Shii religious leader Muqtada as-Sadr were seen hysterical with delight around the scene of the crash.
The American Associated Press (AP) quoted a puppet police captain as saying that four British troops were killed in the crash, but British officials, in keeping with the Anglo-American practice of concealing casualty figures, said only that there had been casualties.
Fighting reportedly erupted between British troops trying to control exultant crowds and Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen loyal to Muqtada as-Sadr. The American AP reported that local residents set fire to two British armored vehicles and that the British troops fired into the air to disperse the local people and then exchanged gunfire with Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen. The puppet police source told the AP that at least four people, one of them an Iraqi child, were killed and 31 more were wounded. Two of the dead were adults whom the British shot to death as they drove their car past the area.
