Iraqi Resistance Group the Brigades of the Triumphant Salah ad-Din rejects calls to negotiate with US or puppet regime, promises end to US occupation.
The Iraqi Resistance group Brigades of the Triumphant Salah ad-Din issued a statement in which it rejected negotiations with the Americans, now or in the future, and reiterated its rejection of the new Iraqi puppet regime and of any puppet regime formed in the shadow of the occupation.
In a statement, a copy of which was obtained by Quds Press, the Brigades of Salah ad-Din said: everytime the blows of the Resistance on the occupation and its stooges intensify talk surfaces about negotiations between the US forces and the [puppet] government on one side and the Resistance on the other. The statement went on to say, however, that the Brigades of Salah ad-Din have not and will not negotiate with any government formed under the protection of the occupation.
The statement laid out a number of preconditions for any dialogue, first among them, a time table for a withdrawal of the occupation that has been ratified by the United Nations and guaranteed by a UN resolution. It also stipulated that an end must be put to everything that results from the occupation, including all decrees, laws and bodies that have been formed under the occupation.
The Brigades of Salah ad-Din also declared their rejection of the new puppet parliament and the puppet government formed on its basis, saying that they are two of the occupations institutions set up on Iraqi soil and everything that applies to the occupation applies to them as well, in terms of [Resistance] activity.
Everything that has been set up under the shadow of the occupation is totally rejected and enjoys no legitimacy. These are nothing but the occupations attempts to experiment and save whatever it can save of its prestige and program, which have been dragged through the mud of defeat and frustrated by the zealous sons of Iraq.
The Brigades statement denounced the puppet parliament or Council of Deputies calling it a Council of Disasters saying that it had been formed in order to impose sectarianism on a country composed of various religious and ethnic groups that had lived for many long centuries as one people in peace and security.
Iraq has never known sectarian war, killing, evictions, and forced migrations except at the hands of the occupation and the government it imposed in order to fix sectarianism and ethnic hostility in the country as preliminary step towards the partition of Iraq, the creation of impotent little entities. This the occupation would follow up by moving on ot other countries of the [Arab] Nation, the statement said.
In conclusion the statement of the Salah ad-Din Brigades promised that the hated occupation in Iraq would be coming to an end and would fail in its attempt to impose the Zionist and Persian presence direct and indirect on the soil of the country.
