Al-Anbar Province.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance downs unmanned US spy plane east of ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 5pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot down an unmanned US spy plane east of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the village of al-Bu Fahd as saying that Resistance fighters fired light weapons at an unmanned American reconnaissance airplane used to spy on the movements of the Iraqi Resistance.� The gunfire brought the aircraft crashing to the ground immediately.

Al-Habbaniyah.

Heavy Resistance mortars blast US al-Habbaniyah base.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US occupation headquarters in the al-Habbaniyah base, 69km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Habbaniyah as saying that the bombardment of the US headquarters sent plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.� Helicopters were observed hovering over the American-occupied facility after the blast.

Al-Fallujah.

US troops raid middle school in Amiriyat al-Fallujah, arrest 21 students.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops arrested 21 students in the Ammar ibn Yasir Middle School in the Amiriyat al-Fallujah suburb, some 7km southwest of al-Fallujah on Sunday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported relatives of the arrested students as saying that American troops surrounded the school and then stormed in, arresting 21 students for no apparent reason.� The students in the school range in age from 13 to 17 years.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance ambush in Amiriyat al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US military patrol on a farm road in the western part of the Amiriyat al-Fallujah suburb, some 7km southwest of al-Fallujah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Amiriyat al-Fallujah as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets attacked the US patrol damaging two Humvees and killing two US troops.� Four more American soldiers were wounded in the assault.

Resistance sharpshooter kills puppet Iraqi National Guardsman.

In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet National Guardsman in the al-Halabisah area of western al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Halabisah as saying that the puppet soldier was killed when he was manning an observation tower at the western entrance to the city.� Witnesses said that the soldier took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooters bullet, killing him instantly.

Baghdad.

Resistance bomb wounds US troops on road to Saddam International Airport.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah on the road to Saddam International Airport.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the southwestern Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah reported local eyewitneses as saying that a bomb went off by the US patrol on a farm road that leads to Saddam International Airport.� The blast disabled an American armored vehicle, wounding three US troops who were aboard it, one of thm severely.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in Arab Jabbur.

In a dispatch posted at 2pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column driving on a farm road in the Arab Jabbur area of southwestern Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Arab Jabbur as saying that a bomb in their village had destroyed a Humvee, killing or wounding the five American troops who were aboard it.

Mysterious bomb kills civilians in Madinat as-Sadr area of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb exploded before noon Sunday in a minibus in the predominantly Shii as-Sadr section of eastern Baghdad a stronghold of Shii religious leader Muqtada as-Sadr, a frequent critic of the US occupation.

The correspondent for QudsPress reported eyewitnesses in Madinat as-Sadr as saying that the bomb was placed in briefcase in a Kia minibus that was carrying passengers near a fuel station.� The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two civilians aboard the minibus were killed and six more wounded in the mysterious attack.

�In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime this attack appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.

Such mysterious attacks are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.

Resistance bomb on farm road near al-Mushahadah leaves two US troops reported dead.

In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol on a farm road in the area of al-Mushahadah, about 25km north of Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported owners of farm fields in al-Mushahadah who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of an unpaved rural road blew up under an American foot patrol, killing two US troops and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bomb in Tikrit reportedly kills two US troops.

In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Makkah time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of Tikrit, about 180km north of Baghdad.

The Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of 40 Street exploded by a patrol of several American Humvees, destroying one and killing two US troops and wounding three more of them.

Resistance bomb destroys Iraqi puppet army tank, killing four Iraqi puppet troops.

In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column on the main road south of at-Tarimiyah, about 30km north of Baghdad.

The at-Tarimiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb had been planted on the road south to the Baghdad suburb of at-Taji and that it exploded by a column of five puppet army troop carriers and two tanks.� The witnesses said that the blast completely destroyed one Iraqi puppet army tank, killing the four Iraqi puppet army troops who were aboard it.

Yathrib.

Resistance fires rockets into US-occupied al-Bakr Airbase

In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two medium-range rockets into the US-occupied al-Bakr Airbase near Yathrib, about 75km north of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Yathrib district as saying that two medium-range rockets blasted directly into the US-occupied headquarters, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Ad-Duluiyah.

Resistance mortars bombard joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in ad-Duluiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters jointly used by US and Iraqi puppet troops in ad-Duluiyah on Saturday evening.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Duluiyah as saying that the barrage set off explosions an sent plumes of smoke rising over the facility.

Baqubah.

Resistance bomb kills four Iraqi puppet policemen in Baqubah.

In a dispatch posted at 4pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol across the road from the Diyala Club playing field in the city of Baqubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Baqubah as saying that the bomb exploded as the puppet policemen were setting up a temporary checkpoint opposite the playing field.� The witnesses said that the blast disabled one patrol vehicle, killing four puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

Al-Latifiyah.

Resistance bomb leaves three US troops reported dead north of al-Latifiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road north of al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.

The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb had been planted by the side of the road to farming villages north of the city.� The blast destroyed one American personnel carrier, killing three US troops and wounding four more of the.

Ninwa Province.

Al-Mawsil.

US troops capture hostile photographers.

The US military announced on Sunday that its forces in the northern city of al-Mawsil captured two suspicious and hostile cameramen.� The American military statement as monitored by Quds Press reported that the 127th Stryker combat group arrested two photographers from forces hostile to the puppet regime on 28 April in al-Mawsil.� The American statement said that US troops noticed two photographers filming their patrol and when they set out to confront them, the men with the camera ran.� The Americans caught the men, however and arrested them.

The American statement claimed that explosives were found on the cameramen and they were determined to have handled explosive materials.� The cameramen were therefor sent to a US military prison camp.

Wasit Province.

As-Suwayrah.

Three combatants in British column killed in Resistance bomb attack in as-Suwayrah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of armor-plated vehicles of the sort driven by mercenary security contractors and members of the British intelligence services northwest of al-Kut near as-Suwayrah, about 40km southeast of Baghdad on the road to the occupied Iraqi capital.

The al-Kut correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police in as-Suwayrah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to Baghdad blew up by a passing column of civilian armor plated vehicles used by British Intelligence and mercenaries.� The source said that the blast destroyed one of the armor-plated vehicles and killed three members of the column and wounded three more of them.
