Resistance bomb wounds four US troops in al-Qaim.

In a dispatch posted at 8:40pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military Humvee in the 12 Rabi ath-Thani neighborhood of central al-Qaim on the border with Syria in western Iraq.

The al-Qaim correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as the scene as saying that the bomb disabled a Humvee, wounding four American troops.� The witnesses said that none of the US soldiers was killed in the attack.

The witnesses said that the bomb ripped up the tires on the vehicle and its motor on fire.� Because the front of the vehicle took the force of the blast, the soldiers inside were able to escape alive.� The witnesses said, however, that when the soldiers came out of the Humvee, blood was flowing from their ears from the force of the blast.� Some of them also had body injuries.

Hit.

Two US Marines reported killed in Resistance attack near Hit before noon Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded near the Hit gas works, about 140km northwest of Baghdad on the International Highway running towards Syria shortly before noon on Wednesday.

Quds Press reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the explosion destroyed a US Humvee wounding a number of US Marines who were aboard it.� The American forces immediately surrounded the area of the blast and began working to haul away the wrecked vehicle.� But then a second Resistance bomb exploded in their midst, killing two US troops and wounding a number more, according to the witnesses.

As soon as the bomb went off, the Americans began shooting indiscriminately into the air around them and at parts of the gas works.� US troops then raided the plant and arrested a large number of the workers inside, accusing them of helping the Resistance.� Most of the workers were later released, but the Americans left a small security detachment in the plant nevertheless.

Plant workers later told Quds Press that the Americans in the factory then re-arrested a number of the workers as well as some of the customers who came by the plant later.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance rockets blast US camp east of ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two medium-range rockets into the US military headquarters in eastern ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad at dawn Wednesday.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that as the rockets blasted the US camp located in the farm area east of the city, they could hear violent explosions shake the US-occupied facility and surrounding area.� Quds Press reported witnesses as saying that the Americans responded by firing flares into the air trying to get a fix on the Resistance attackers position.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blasts US troops in eastern al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column in eastern al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the New Road opposite the al-Khulafa Mosque in the eastern part of the city blew up by a passing column of American troops.

The witnesses said that the blast completely destroyed a Humvee, killing or wounding the five American troops who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in eastern al-Fallujah at dawn Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 9:55am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in eastern al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Askari neighborhood as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road in the south of the neighborhood blew up by a patrol of five US Humvees at tdawn local time Wednesday morning.

The witnesses said that the blast damaged one of the Humvees, wounding three American soldiers.

Resistance bombards puppet Iraqi National Guard base in northern al-Fallujah Tuesday night.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 60mm mortar rounds at the headquarters of the puppet Iraqi National Guard in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood of northern al-Fallujah during Tuesday-Wednesday night.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Jaghifi as saying that after the attack they could see flames rising from inside the compound.� As the nighttime curfew was in force at the time of the bombardment, no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

Abu Ghurayb.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol west of Abu Ghurayb, reportedly killing two American troops.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the highway west of Abu Ghuaryb, about 30km west of Baghdad.

The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, on the main road to the al-Bu Munaysir area, disabled a Humvee, killing two US troops and wounding two more American soldiers.

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing near al-Jadiriyah Bridge in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 6:30pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by by a US military column on the highway near the al-Jadiriyah Bridge in southwestern Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb that was planted by the side of the road linking as-Sayyidiyah and al-Jadiriyah blew up by a passing American column, completely destroying a Humvee and killing three US troops.� Two more American soldiers were wounded in the blast.

Pro-American Badr Brigades kidnap, torture, murder four more civilians in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Makkah time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-American Shii sectarian Badr Brigade militiamen kidnapped four Iraqi Sunnis from the ash-Shulah district of northwest Baghdad and led them off to an unknown location. �Later their bodies were found, tortured and murdered.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported relatives of the four men as saying that Badr Brigade gunmen abducted Tahir Mahmud Jasim and his three sons Umar, Muhammad, and Sufyan on the main road between ash-Shulah and al-Ghazaliyah at gunpoint.� The pro-American gunmen led the man and his three sons away to an unknown destination.

The relatives told Mafkarat al-Islam that the next time they saw Tahir and his sons was today in the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Department in Baghdad.� All were clearly tortured and all of them had been shot in the head and chest.

Resistance fighters kill two members of pro-American Badr Brigades in west Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed two pro-American Badr Brigade Shii sectarian militiamen in western Baghdads al-Bayya district.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Bayya as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons assaulted two puppet policemen who were concurrently members of the pro-American Badr Brigades on al-Maalif Road.� The Resistance fighters killed the two militiamen and then immediately withdrew from the area.

Resistance ambush leaves eight puppet National Guards dead in ad-Durah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out a two-stage attack on a column of Iraqi puppet National Guards in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Durah as saying that the Resistance began its attack by detonating three bombs under the puppet National Guard column on the main road in the southern part of ad-Durah.� The Resistance fighters, armed with light and medium weapons, then attacked the column.� The witnesses reported that the attack left two puppet National Guard vehicles destroyed and eight puppet Guards dead and another six of them wounded.� The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the scene without having suffered any casualties in their own ranks, witnesses said.

Resistance bomb targeted puppet police.

In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb apparently intended for an Iraqi puppet police patrol exploded on the main road near the Baghdad International Expositioin fair grounds in the al-Mansur district in the west of the occupied Iraqi capital.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Mansur as saying that the bomb, though apparently intended for the puppet police, blew up late, after the patrol had passed, killing one civilian and wounding two more.

US forces in Iraq are equipped with electronic jamming devices that deflect bomb detonation signals from themselves, causing bombs to explode after they have left an area.

Yathrib.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol near Yathrib.

In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol near Yathrib, about 75km north of Baghdad.

The Yathrib correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to the city of ad-Dujayl blew up as a US patrol was driving past.� The explosion destroyed a Humvee, killing or wounding the four American troops who were aboard it.

Samarra.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier in Samarra.

In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the middle of Samarra, about 120km north of Baghadad.

The Samarra correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that an American foot patrol was walking near the al-Mutasim neighborhood of central Samarra when one of the US soldiers took a direct hit in the head from a Resistance sharpshooters bullet, killing him instantly.

Al-Mahmudiyah.

Resistance bombards US headquarters in al-Mahmudiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance force fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters set up in the former meat processing plant in the city of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.

The al-Mahmudiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage set off explosions inside the American occupied compound and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Al-Mawsil.

Resistance mortars pound puppet police station in western al-Mawsil Tuesday night.

In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the Sumar area puppet police station in western al-Mawsil with mortars on Tuesday night.

The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Sumar as saying that the barrage wounded four puppet policemen, one of them seriously.
