Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier east of ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 4:35pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the al-Bu ‘Ubayd area east of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Bu ‘Ubayd as saying that the bomb destroyed an American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier who was in the turret and wounded three more of them.
US air forces shelled the neighborhood of al-‘Aziziyah in ar-Ramadi on Monday evening, killing five Iraqi civilians and wounding two more of them.
Dr. Diya’ Ahmad, a doctor in ar-Ramadi General Hospital told Quds Press that when the victims arrived at the hospital some of them had already died. Two were still alive but were in critical condition. Among the five who were killed by the American barrage were a woman and a child.
Witnesses told Quds Press that US artillery opened fire on the neighborhood on Mondy afternoon, striking and destroying three houses and inflicting civilian casualties. Residents said that the Americans have been shelling the al-‘Aziziyah neighborhood and a number of other neighborhoods near the center of the city every day now, forcing many people to take to the road. A large-scale US offensive is expected to be launched in the near future.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb north of al-Fallujah leaves four US troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of US troops on the main road north of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the as-Sajar area north of al-Fallujah as saying that a bomb planted next to the main road from their area into town blew up by a passing American patrol. The blast completely destroyed a Humvee, killing four US troops who were aboard it.
After the explosion, American troops surrounded the area and closed off all roads in the area. A number of US armored vehicles then deployed around the scene.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Resistance bomb blasts US column near al-Khalidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road from al-Khalidiyah east to al-Habbaniyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Khalidiyah, about 80km west of Baghdad, as saying that the bomb exploded by a passing column of US Humvees and armored vehicles, disabling one armored vehicle. US troops surrounded the area quickly, making it impossible to obtain information on the nature or extent of casualties.
Al-Qa’im.
Resistance bomb wounds US troops in al-Qa’im area.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a passing foot patrol of US occupation troops and Iraqi puppet army soldiers in the ar-Rummanah area of southeastern al-Qa’im, located near the Syrian border in western Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Rummanah as saying that the bomb, which had been planted on a side street, blew up by a passing foot patrol, killing one Iraqi puppet army soldier and wounding two US troops and one other Iraqi puppet soldier.
The US and puppet troops responded to the explosion by opening fire indiscriminately in all directions, afraid that they might be ambushed. But their shooting only succeeded in wounding two civilians who were in the area.
Abu Ghurayb.
Resistance bomb targets puppet army column in Abu Ghurayb.
In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column on the road to Khan Darri in western Abu Ghurayb, about 30km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Abu Ghurayb as saying that the bomb destroyed a pickup belonging to the puppet forces and killed three Iraqi puppet soldiers and wounded two more of them.
After the attack, Iraqi puppet forces closed the road to Khan Darri for an hour and a half during which time they hauled away the wreckage and the casualties.
Baghdad.
Pro-American Shi‘i sectarian militias try to storm Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district after dark Tuesday night, sparking fierce fighting as local residents rally to beat them back.
In a dispatch posted at 11pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the time of reporting the fierce fighting was raging in the predominantly Sunni al-A‘zamiyah district of Baghdad, as dozens of pro-American Shi‘i sectarian militia wearing the uniforms of the puppet police and puppet “Iraqi army” tried to storm into the district, but were intercepted by local armed residents.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the pro-American gunmen had been trying for hours to break into the city but local men put up a ferocious resistance to the attackers.
Bullets from the guns of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarians ripped into local houses overlooking the Tigris River near the historic Mosque of Abu Hanifah an-Nu‘man. The correspondent reported that the pro-American Shi‘i sectarians were equipped with all sorts of modern, powerful weapons, but the local residents armed only with Kalashnikov assault rifles were holding them back.
Association of Muslim Scholars denounces aggression against al-A ‘zamiyah and ad-Dulu‘iyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10am Makkah time just after midnight Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a member of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, the highest Sunni religious authority in the occupied country confirmed that there was fighting going on in al-A‘zamiyah in Baghdad between local residents and Shi‘i sectarian gunmen
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a member of the Association as saying that Shi‘i sectarian gunmen dressed in black assaulted the city two hours earlierand local residents took up whatever arms they could find to defend themselves and prevent the gunmen from breaking into their district.
The scholar said that the fighting had killed “no small number” of Sunni defenders of the district. He condemned the silence with which the world was responding to the aggression on al-A‘zamiyah and the city of ad-Dulu‘iyah (see story below) where US forces launched the first round of their assault on the city, having threatened Tuesday to rape the female population there.
Puppet police bring suspicious decapitated bodies to hospital claiming they were victims of bombing.
Sources in an-Nu‘man Hospital in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district told Quds Press that Iraqi puppet police had brought in 10 decapitated bodies of unknown persons, claiming that they had been killed in the mysterious explosions that took place in the district Monday.
A source in the hospital told Quds Press that the bodies showed no signs of having been in an explosion; there heads having been severed by some other means. Staff at the hospital suspect that the bodies belong to the many secret prisoners held by the pro-American security forces, who used the chaos at the time of the explosions as a cover for handing over the bodies.
Earlier, local residents of al-A‘zamiyah accused the puppet government of being behind the afternoon bombings in their district. They said that at the time, puppet “National Guard” forces were deployed in large numbers throughout the neighborhoods of the district on the pretext that they were expecting Resistance fighters to mount an attack on a government building in al-A‘zamiyah. Two car bombs exploded and a third was discovered and disarmed near he historic Abu Hanifah an-Nu‘man Mosque in the district. A member of the puppet municipal council of al-A‘zamiyah told Quds Press that there was no truth to the claims that the car bombs went off near puppet army patrols.
Resistance bomb blasts US column in as-Sayyidiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:30pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the highway near as-Sayyidiyah in southern Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Sayyidiyah as saying that the bomb destroyed a Humvee, wounding four American troops who were aboard it, one of them severely.
United Arab Emirates diplomat released after two weeks as a hostage.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the United Arab Emirates officially confirmed that the UAE diplomat Naji an-Nu‘aymi who had been held hostage for two weeks was released on Tuesday.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported the UAE news agency as saying that the country’s Foreign Minister ‘Abdallah ibn Zayid Al Nahayan had announced, “Tonight the Emirates’ diplomat Naji an-Nu‘aymi who was abducted in Baghdad on 16 May was released.”
Resistance sharpshooter kills puppet “Shock Troop” soldier.
In a dispatch posted at 1:15pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troop (Maghawir)” soldier in the al-Jami‘ah neighborhood of western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Jami‘ah as saying that the puppet “Shock Troop” soldier was manning a temporary checkpoint when he took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.
Iraqi puppet troops surrounded the area and began searching for the sharpshooter but found no sign of him.
Resistance bombards puppet “Shock Troop” headquarters in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Durah as saying that the barrage set off violent explosions inside the compound and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
After the attack, dozens of vehicles of the puppet troops and the Americans were seen deploying in areas near the headquarters. All roads to the headquarters were closed but ambulances were allowed in.
US announces recovery of bodies of two Marine helicopter pilots shot down by Iraqi Resistance Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:25pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military announced on Tuesday that the bodies of two Marine helicopter pilots lost after their aircraft was shot down on Saturday, 27 May, have been found.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US had admitted that its EH 1 Cobrah helicopter had been shot down over al-Anbar Province but listed the crew as “missing.”
Mysterious bomb strikes Shi‘i target near Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 7:45pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported al-Jazeera satellite TV as saying that five people had been killed and 30 others wounded in a car bomb explosion near al-Husayniyah near Baghdad. Later reports carried by the American AP reported the puppet “Interior Ministry” as saying that 25 were killed and 65 others wounded in the attack that took place at about 7:30pm local time Tuesday evening.
In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets ミ occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime ミ this attack appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.
Such mysterious bombings are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.

Ad-Dulu ‘iyah.
Women of ad-Dulu‘iyah don explosive belts after US commander threatens to order his men to “rape all the women in the city” if Resistance fighters aren’t handed over by Wednesday. Resistance uses Tuesday night to prepare for the next day’s battle.
In a dispatch posted at 9:35pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that that the US Marine commander in ad-Dulu‘iyah, known as “Captain Phil”announced that he would order his soldier to rape every woman in the city if the people fail to turn over or reveal the whereabouts of all the Resistance fighters in ad-Dulu‘iyah.
The Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Shaykh Jasim al-‘Azzawi of nearby ad-Dulu‘iyah as saying that the shaykhs in the city had gone to confer with the occupation forces in an attempt to get them to raise the siege on the city and allow food and medicine ミ cut off from ad-Dulu‘iyah for the last 10 days ミ to come in.
The American commander in the town addressed the tribal leaders, telling them: “we’re giving you Arab savages one day to turn in whoever it was that killed our soldiers. If you don’t do that I’m going to order my troops to rape all the women in the city, starting with your wives.”
Shaykh al-‘Azzawi said that the 10-man delegation of tribal shaykhs told the American: “Then we’ll dress our women in explosive belts and they’ll be waiting for your soldiers tomorrow.”
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported Shaykh al-‘Azzawi as saying that “Captain Phil,” who, he says, is a Jew, allowed them to leave without arresting them. “I’m letting you go now,” the American told them, “just so you can give my message to the people of the city.”
The correspondent reported that dozens of Resistance fighters were now converging on the city as the people prepare for a difficult day on Wednesday. Sources in the Iraqi Resistance told Mafkarat al-Islam that more than 18 local women had volunteered to be martyrdom fighters if the Americans try to storm the city on Wednesday to carry out their threat.
Resistance urges evacuation of women and children, calls for anyone with medical training to gather in mosques. . .
In a dispatch posted at 10:35pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance had called on local citizens to prepare for an evidently impending US assault by sending women and children out of ad-Dulu‘iyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance members and religious leaders in the districts of al-Mashru‘ and al-Kabidah and in the al-Bashkan area and the regions of al-Bu Jayli, and al-Bu Hishmah called on the people of the city to prepare the women and children to be taken out of the city via one of the roads.
The Resistance also asked residents to turn off or extinguish all forms of lighting in their homes and streets, and to turn off their home electric generators during this (Tuesday-Wednesday night).
The Resistance called on everyone with some medical skill, be they doctors or nurses or people who can dress wounds or specialists in traditional Islamic Medicine of the Prophet ミ which is common now in the city ミ to gather Tuesday night in specific mosques named by the Resistance.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a large number of women in ad-Dulu‘iyah have refused to leave, even if their trip on Tuesday night out to nearby towns and villages were guaranteed. They insisted on staying with their husbands.
Americans launch late-night air strikes, setting fire to citrus, date palm groves, burning boats that people might have tried to use to escape. . .
In a bulletin posted at 11:59pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US warplanes had bombed more than 15 fishing and transport boats tied up by the banks of the Tigris River near ad-Dulu‘iyah.
The ad-Dulu‘iyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the American fighter-bombers dropped incendiary explosives on citrus and date palm groves in the city, completely burning them out. They also fired flares into the skies above the city in what appeared to be the first round of an impending American offensive.
The correspondent reported that the marauding American warplanes flew over residential areas and broke the sound barrier, as US ground forces remained poised outside the boundaries of the city.
Collaborationist politician warns US occupation that it will pay a heavy price if it attacks ad-Dulu‘iyah. . .
In a dispatch posted at 11:55pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the collaborationist Sunni politician Salih al-Mutlak, head of the so-called “Irqi National Dialogue Front” warned of “painful consequences if US terrorism against the city of ad-Dulu‘iyah continues.”
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that al-Mutlak issued a statement a short while earlier saying, “the killing of Sunnis, destruction, and organized terrorism that is taking place in ad-Dulu‘iyah now will lead to real disasters throughout the whole of Iraq. The price that the occupation will pay for it will be great.”
Al-Mutlak, who takes part in the American-installed political system, called on the puppet leaders of the country and the puppet parliament to “take action with the US occupation forces consistent with the extent of the problem there.”
Samarra’.
US troops kill pregnant woman and her mother on their way to hospital in Samarra’ Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 7:40pm Makkah time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces shot and killed two women and their taxi driver as they tried to get to the Samarra’ General Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops opened fire on a taxi cab in which a pregnant woman who was in labor and her mother were riding to the hospital along a road on which US forces had taken up positions.
A medical source told Mafkarat al-Islam that the pregnant woman was killed but that in last seconds her son had been saved. The woman’s 60-year-old mother and the 52-year-old taxi cab driver were both killed by the American gunfire.
Residents of the city told the correspondent that the pregnant woman’s husband, a member of the Iraqi Resistance, had been killed in February in a battle with the US occupation forces.
Yathrib.
Resistance bomb rips through US patrol near Yathrib.
In a dispatch posted at 5:05pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road to the village of al-Bu Hishmah near Yathrib, about 75km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Yathrib as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of a farm road running to al-Bu Hishmah Village, exploded by a patrol of several American Humvees. The blast disabled one of the vehicles, killing or wounding the four US troops aboard it.
At-Tarimiyah.
US storms houses throughout at-Tarimiyah. Man and 10-year-old girl killed in savage American assaults.
In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops launched a campaign of raids and searches in all the neighborhoods of the city of at-Tarimiyah, about 30km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Tarimiyah as saying that US troops backed up with helicopter gun ships and warplanes surrounded all of at-Tarimiyah, closing all approaches to the city. They then carried out an airborne landing in all parts of the city, savagely and violently storming into houses, throwing localized explosives and percussion grenades to blast open doors.
One civilian and his 10-year old daughter were killed in the violent American assault on their home.
Witnesses said that the Americans had arrested more than 35 local men during their raids and gave no indication why.

Al-Yusufiyah.
Resistance mortars hit US camp in al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a US military camp in the an-Nazim area near the water purification station in al-Yusufiyah, about 30km southwest of Baghdad.
The al-Yusufiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that three 82mm mortar rounds were fired and two of them scored direct hits on the American camp, sending plumes of smoke rising from a stricken vehicle that was parked in the camp.
Al-Hillah.
Mysterious bomb kills 12 in al-Hillah.
In a dispatch posted at 7:45pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that sources in the puppet police said that at least 12 people had been killed in a blast in the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad.
Mafkarat al-Islam quoted Reuters as saying that 36 people were wounded in the bombing that took place near an agency for car sales in al-Hillah.
In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets ミ occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime ミ this attack appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.

In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet “National Guard” soldier in the middle of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hawijah as saying that a patrol of puppet “National Guards” was proceeding down the road opposite the al-Hawijah mill when one of the puppet “Guards” took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.
Kirkuk.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guards” southwest of Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the road to ar-Riyad, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ar-Riyad area as saying that the bomb, which had been planted on the road to the al-‘Abbasiyah area, blew up by a passing puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol, destroying one patrol vehicle and wounding two puppet soldiers.

US admits soldier killed in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 9:20pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military occupation in Iraq had admitted that one of its soldiers had been killed in a battle with lightly armed Iraqi Resistance fighters in the northern city of al-Mawsil.
Resistance bomb targets puppet troops in northwestern al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 1:45pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet army forces on the main road in the al-Kafa’at neighborhood of northwestern al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Kafa’at as saying that the bomb, which was planted near the al-Kafa’at Bridge, destroyed a patrol vehicle, wounding four Iraqi puppet troops. At the time of reporting, the puppet forces were still surrounding the area and keeping roads closed.
Resistance bombards puppet police headquarters in eastern al-Mawsil Monday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the al-Karamah puppet police headquarters in the northern city of al-Mawsil with seven 82mm mortar rounds on Monday evening.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Karamah neighborhood in eastern al-Mawsil as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the puppet police headquarters, inflicting material damage on the building and some puppet police vehicles. The correspondent reported that there were no casualties in the ranks of the puppet police, however.
