US troops storm into mosque, desecrate copies of the Quran, arrest nine worshippers Monday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation roops raided the al-Hamim mosques in the al-Jamiyah neighborhood of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad after midday prayers on Monday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Jamiyah neighborhood as saying that the Americans stormed violently into the mosque, detonating localized explosives and percussion grenades to break down the door. They then searched the mosque, tearing up and desecrating copies of the Quran and dumping them in the courtyard and then kicking them around with their feet. The Americans arrested nine worshippers who were in the mosque in the course of their rampage, which lasted over an hour.
Three US troops reported killed in Resistance attack in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a US military column on the street running from the al-Malab (playing field) section of ar-Ramadi to the center of town.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and explosives attacked the column, disabling a Humvee and completely destroying an armored vehicle. At least three US troops were killed and five more wounded in the Resistance assault.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance fighters blast puppet police station in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:37pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked the puppet police station in al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad at about 1:30pm local time Monday afternoon.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and pipe rockets caused material damage to the puppet police station but inflicted no casualties among the puppet policemen.

Resistance forces bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in Hit midday Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:55pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the joint American-Iraqi puppet army headquarters set up in the occupied Teachers Training Institute building in northern Hit, about 170km northwest of Baghdad, at 12 noon local time Monday.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage sent plumes of smoke rising into the midday sky.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Resistance blasts US al-Habbaniyah base with rockets and mortar shells at dawn Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces mounted an assault on the US-occupied al-Hadbah Airbase in al-Habbaniyah, 69km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in the as-Sisi neighborhood near the base as saying that 19 mortar rounds and six rockets blasted into the American base at dawn on Monday. The shells and rockets sent clouds of smoke rising over the facility and set off explosions inside as sirens wailed for about 15 minutes.
Swarms of US helicopters emblazoned with red crosses flew into the area after the attack, local witnesses said. US troops also deployed outside the base directly following the barrage and remained there, among the palm trees, groves, and empty buildings for three hours before going back to the base.

Resistance bomb destroys American armored vehicle in Anah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the far western Iraqi town of Anah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Anah as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of the road near the northern entrance to the city, destroyed an American armored vehicle and wounded four US troops who were aboard it.

Pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen murder Palestinian refugee in front of family in Baghdad Monday afternoon.
In a bulletin posted at 4:30pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier pro-American Shii sectarian Badr Brigade gunmen murdered a Palestinian refugee in front of his wife and children in the al-Baladiyat section of Baghdad where many Palestinian families reside.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Badr Brigade gunmen dressed in black and wearing green headbands emblazoned Ya Husayn attacked the home of their victim, the Palestinian Suud Muhammad, and sprayed him with a hail of bullets in front of his wife and children. The pro-American gunmen then coolly left the scene according to witnesses who live in the area.
The correspondent reported that despite numerous threats from the Badr Brigades directed against the Palestinians, neither the US-installed puppet government nor the Americans themselves have paid the matter any attention. At the time of reporting, local people were gathered at the door of Muhammads house while inside his widow and seven children were reduced to anguished cries and grief stricken tears.
Resistance car bomb blasts US column in Baghdads al-Karradah district, killing one US soldier, two CBS news crewmen.
In a dispatch posted at 8:50pm Mecca time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance explosive device in Baghdads al-Karradah district exploded by a US military patrol on Monday, killing one American soldier and two CBS News crewmembers of British nationality. CBS correspondent Kimberly Dosier and six American troops were wounded in the attack, CBS, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, reported.
Mafkarat al-Islam quoted the American CNN TV network as saying that the Resistance explosive was so powerful that it destroyed an armored Humvee in the American column that was on a drive through at-Tahariyat Square opposite the high-security Republican Palace area the district known to the Americans as the Green Zone where the headquarters of the US occupation is located.
According to CBS news, the US military described the attack as a curious incident, saying that the news team got out of the armored vehicle in which they were riding together with US occupation troops. It was then that an explosives-laden car exploded, killing two of the journalists and one US soldier, the US military said.
Resistance bomb targets joint US-Iraqi puppet Shock Troop patrol in southeastern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a patrol of US occupation troops and puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in the al-Misbah area of southeastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the predominalntly Shii al-Misbah area as saying that a car bomb exploded by the joint patrol on the road that runs from al-Misbah to the al-Arasat district. The blast destroyed two patrol vehicles.
Afterwards US and Iraqi puppet forces closed the roads to the area and sealed it off, preventing anyone from approaching. Ambulances and fire truck were seen entering the area by permission of the occupation troops, but no information on the nature or extent of US and Iraqi puppet force casualties was available.
Mysterious bombs target civilians in Shii, Sunni areas of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 12:55pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious bomb exploded in the Baghdad district of al-Kazimiyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Kazimiyah as saying that the bomb, which was planted under a car parked by the side of the main road near the popular market in the district, killed nine civilians and wounded eight more of them.
In a separate attack at noon in the predominantly Sunni district of al-Azamiyah, a massive car bomb exploded near the historic Abu Hanifah an-Numan Mosque, killing nine civilians and wounding another 25, according to the director of an-Numan Hospital as quoted by American CBS News. The explosives were reportedly so powerful that they vaporized the vehicle, according to CBS.
In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime these attacks appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.
Such mysterious bombings are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.
Resistance bomb wounds US troops southeast of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the Jurf an-Naddaf suburb about 10km southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Jurf an-Naddaf as saying that the bomb on the road to Salman Bakk, southeast of the occupied Iraqi capital, destroyed an American Humvee, wounding the five US troops aboard.
Resistance mortars strike puppet Order Protection headquarters in Baghdads al-Amiriyah district Sunday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a mortar barrage on the Iraqi puppet army headquarters in the al-Amiriyah area of western Baghdad on Sunday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Amiriyah as saying that the headquarters of the puppet Order Protection Forces came under mortar bombardment, destroying two of the puppet forces vehicles and killing one Iraqi puppet soldier and wounding two more of them.

Kurdish separatist Peshmergah gunmen lose 24 dead in US friendly fire incident and Resistance ambush in ad-Duluiyah Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militiamen set up an ambush for Iraqi Resistance fighters in ad-Duluiyah, 97km north of Baghdad, on Monday morning, but ended up victims of American friendly fire.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Peshmergah deployed 20 of their gunmen under the bridge on the road linking ad-Duluiyah with Balad so that they could ambush Resistance fighters operating in the area.
The source said that at about 10am Monday, an American column on a security detail happened to pass through the area and spotted the Peshmergah militiamen under the bridge. The Americans mistook the militiamen for Resistance fighters and poured intensive gunfire into them for 15 minutes, killing all 20 Peshmergah.
The Americans then approached the bridge where the militiamen had been hiding and realized that they were their own Peshmergah allies. They then packed up the bodies and took them to ad-Duluiyah Hospital.
The source said that about an hour after the American attack, a detachment of Resistance fighters attacked another group of Peshmergah gunmen in the ad-Duluiyah area, destroying three of their Jeeps and killing four and wounding five of them.
Bayji.
Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing north of Bayji.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road to ash-Sharaqat north of Bayji, about 200km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Bayji as saying that the bomb completely destroyed a Humvee, killing two American troops and seriously wounding three more of them. After the blast US troops surrounded the area and closed the roads. Two US helicopters were seen landing in the blast zone to haul away the wreckage and evacuate the casualties.
Al-Ishaqi.
Resistance bomb destroys American supply truck in convoy north of al-Ishaqi.
In a dispatch posted at 10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column ont ehmain road leading to the city of Balad north of al-Ishaqi, about 85km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Ishaqi as saying that the bomb went off north of al-Ishaqi as a convoy of several American supply trucks and armored vehicles drove past. The explosion totally destroyed one of the supply trucks, killing its driver who worked for the US occupation troops.

Twelve killed in bomb blast targeting construction workers employed on Mujahidi Khalq base.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a roadside bomb exploded by a bus carrying Iraqi construction workers to the Ashraf camp of the Iranian dissident organization Mujahidi Khalq (Peoples Mujahedeen of Iran). The Ashraf camp is located near the city of al-Khalis, some 60km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb explosion killed at least 12 workers and wounded more than five more of them, based on an interview with a medical source in al-Khalis Hospital who said that they had taken in that many casualties from the attack. The American CBS News quoted the Iraqi puppet police as saying that 10 people were killed and 12 wounded in the bombing.
The Mujahidi Khalq organization, which opposed the Iranian government, found refuge in Iraq under President Saddam Husayn. Prior to the American invasion of Iraq, Tehran frequently accused the Mujahidi Khalq of mounting attacks against Iran from Iraqi territory.

Resistance fighters kill two puppet policemen in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed two puppet policemen in the al-Yarmuk district of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Yarmuk as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns attacked the two puppet policemen as they were on their way to work and killed them. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the scene.

Resistance bomb leaves two British soldiers dead north of al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a British military patrol on the road from al-Basrah to Baghdad.
The al-Basrah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Kazizah area north of al-Basrah as saying that a bomb planted on the Baghdad road blew up while a British patrol was driving past. The explosion destroyed a British vehicle, killing one British soldier and wounding three more of them, one of them severely, the correspondent reported.
Later, the British military announced on Monday that two British soldiers had been killed and two more slightly wounded when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in northwestern Baghdad at about 9:30pm Sunday night, The Independent reported on its website on Monday.
Resistance attacks on British occupation forces in southern Iraq up since start of 2006.
The British newspaper The Independent reported on Monday hat British occupation troops have been struck by the Iraqi Resistance at a rate of about 60 attacks each month since the beginning of 2006, up sharply from a monthly average of fewer than 47 attacks during 2005.
The Independent noted that the number of attacks on British troops was highest in al-Basrah, which is also where the British are concentrated in the southern part of the country. In that city the Resistance struck them 71 times in April alone, the newspaper reported. Another 23 attacks hit the British occupation forces in the province of Maysan, where the city of al-Amarah and the British Abu Naji base are located.
The report shortly followed a disclosure by the BBC that over 1,000 British troops had deserted since the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq in 2003 and that about 900 of them have not been found since.
