Resistance fighters ambush US foot patrol, reportedly killing one, seriously wounding four.
In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons ambushed a US foot patrol in the Barwanah area east of al-Hadithah, some 300km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Hadithah who witnessed the attack as saying that the Resistance fighters opened fire on the Americans, killing one of them and seriously wounding four more. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier near al-Hadithah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the al-Haqlaniyah area east of al-Hadithah.
The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance bomb on the road linking al-Haqlaniyah with the center of the city blew up as a US column was driving past. The explosion disabled an American troop transport vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bomb wounds three US troops near ar-Ramadi playing field.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US occupation patrol in the al-Mal‘ab (playing field) area of central ar-Ramadi.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saign that the bomb disabled one Humvee, severely wounding three US troops.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombards US headquarters in western al-Fallujah Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters west of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad on Friday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Jawlan neighborhood in northwestern al-Fallujah as saying that the US military headquarters at the entrance to the residential area came under a mortar bombardment that sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb in eastern Baghdad’s al-Baladiyat district reportedly leaves US soldier dead.
In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in eastern Baghdad’s al-Baladiyat district.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Baladiyat who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb exploded as a patrol of several American Humvees was driving by. The blast disabled a Humvee, killing one American soldier and seriously wounding two more of them. At the time of reporting, US forces were still encircling the area where the attack had taken place.
Large US, Iraqi puppet army forces seals off al-‘Amiriyah in Baghdad, launches campaign of house raids, searches.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 50 US and Iraqi puppet army vehicles carried out a raid of western Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-‘Amiriyah reported that the military vehicles completely closed off al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street and al-Munazzamah Street and began indiscriminate raids and searches of local people’s homes. The correspondent reported that no clashes had occurred as of the time he filed his report.
But in a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters were preparing to go down into the streets of al-‘Amiriyah to confront expected attacks by the American and Iraqi puppet regime forces.
Eyewitnesses told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that mosques in the area had appealed for women and children to remain in their houses during the fighting which was expected to break out shortly.
Resistance fighters abduct puppet “Shock Troop” Colonel in eastern Baghdad’s al-‘Ubaydi district.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters abducted a high-ranking officer in the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in eastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the eastern Baghdad district of al-‘Ubaydi as saying that Resistance fighters abducted Colonel Mu’ayyad al-Mashhadani when he was near his house in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood in al-‘Ubaydi and took him to an unknown location.

Resistance mortars bombards US al-Bakr base in Yathrib.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the US-occupied al-Bakr military base in the city of Yathrib, about 100km north of Baghdad.
The Yathrib correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saing that the barrage sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Two US troops reported killed Friday evening in Resistance bombing in central Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of Samarra’ on Friday evening.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of the main road in the center of the city, blew up as a US patrol was driving by. The blast destroyed one US Humvee, killing two American troops and wounding two more of them.

Resistance fighters battle puppet police in al-Mahmudiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:25pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier violent fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance fighters and Iraqi puppet police in the middle of al-Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Mahmudiyah who witnessed the fighting as saying that the Resistance fighters, who were equipped with light and medium arms, ambushed the puppet police. At the time of writing, the battle was still going on. A preliminary count revealed that five puppet policemen had been killed and more tan 13 others wounded in the battle.

Resistance bombards US headquarters in al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in al-Yusufiyah, about 25km southwest of Baghdad.
The al-Yusufiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage sent smoke billowing into the sky over the American-occupied facility.

Resistance forces blast joint puppet forces with heavy mortars in al-Latifiyah Friday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five heavy mortars at a joint Iraqi puppet “National Guard” and puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” troops in al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad on Friday evening.
The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fired five heavy 120mm mortar shells into the joint puppet forces, sending plumes of smoke rising from burning vehicles after the barrage.

Three puppet “Shock Troops” killed in bombing south of Shahraban.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the Shahraban area about 85km northeast of Baghdad in the al-Miqdadiyah area.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Shahraban area as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the main road south of the city blew up by a passing patrol, destroying one patrol vehicle and killing two puppet “Shock Troops” and wounding three more of them.

Resistance car bomber blasts column of four-wheel drive cars northwest of Kirkuk, killing four mercenaries.
In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a column of armor-plated four-wheel drive vehicles of the type used by US intelligence operatives and mercenary “security” personnel in the ad-Dibis area northwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dibis as saying that the car bomber blew up his vehicle in the middle of the column of four-wheel drive verhicles, destroying two of the armor-plated cars and killing four of the mercenaries who were aboard them. Three others were wounded in the attack.

Resistance bomb attack in Mosul reportedly kills two US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the al-Islah az-Zira‘i neighborhood of central Mosul in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the the al-Islah az-Zira‘i neighborhood who witnessed the attack as saying that bomb went off opposite the Marrakish fuel station, completely destroying one American Humvee and killing two US troops. A third American soldier was seriously wounded in the blast as well.
Rabi‘ah.
Iraqi Resistance destroys six supply trucks in ambush of American convoy hauling supplies to US bases in Rabi‘ah area near Syrian border.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a convoy of trucks hauling provisions to US bases on the main road to the Rabi‘ah area near the Syrian border, about 95km northwest of Mosul in northern Iraq.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the convoy that was on its way from Turkey bound for US bases in the Rabi‘ah area. The Resistance fighters destroyed six of the trucks complete with their cargoes. The six truck drivers ﾐ all of Turkish nationality and working for the US occupation ﾐ were killed in the attack.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills Danish soldier in al-Qurnah area north of al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of Danish troops on the main road near the al-Qurnah area, about 70km northwest of the city of al-Basrah in southern Iraq.
The al-Basrah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Qurnah who witnessed the attack as saying that a Resistance bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to Baghdad blew up as a column of Danish soldiers was driving past residences attached to a paper mill. The explosion damaged a Danish armored vehicle and killed one Danish soldier and wounded three more of them.
