Resistance fighters ambush US patrol in downtown ar-Ramadi killing a reported three US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 7pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the al-Malab (playing field) area in the middle of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that after the explosion Iraqi Resistance fighters opened fire on the US patrol. The attack left one Humvee destroyed and three US troops dead and three more of them wounded.
Resistance forces assault US-occupied headquarters in downtown ar-Ramadi Tuesday in third straight day of fighting in the city.
Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with shoulder-launched rockets and medium and light arms attacked the al-Anbar Provincial Government building, the former Immigration Building, and the adjacent Personal Status building in downtown ar-Ramadi all of which have been taken over by US troops and turned into US headquarters.
Sources in the local puppet police told Quds Press that the Resistance mounted its attack on central ar-Ramadi before noon Tuesday, sparking a violent battle with US forces that lasted about half an hour. The Americans called in reinforcements and helicopters whose arrival force the Resistance fighters to call off their assault.
Quds Press reported that it was the third straight day on which fighting had raged in the city.
Medical sources said that about three Iraqis were killed and 10 others wounded three of them women in the Tuesday morning battle. Black smoke could be seen rising from the US-occupied puppet government building, but since US forces encircled and cordoned off the entire area, no information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available. Swarms of US aircraft are in the skies over the area, however.
As a result of the daily battles, ar-Ramadi has been nearly paralyzed, the correspondent reported. Most shopkeepers and government employees have been staying home rather than venture out in the deadly environment.

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in Barwanah, west of al-Hadithah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the Barwanah area east of the city of al-Hadithah, some 300km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Barwanah as saying that the bomb went off by a patrol of several US Humvees. The witnesses said that the blast completely destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding three more of them.
Resistance bomb blasts US column west of al-Hadithah.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road ntear the village of az-Zawiyah west of al-Hadithah, some 300km west of Baghdad.
The al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in az-Zawiyah as saying that the bomb destroyed one American Humvee, killing or wounding the four members of its American crew.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance pounds US camp east of al-Fallujah with heavy mortars Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in the base in the farming area east of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage sent plumes of smoke rising from inside the camp.

Fierce Resistance attack in al-Amiriyah Monday night leaves three US troops reported killed.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce combat raged between Iraqi Resistance fighters and a joint force of American troops and Iraqi puppet Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in western Baghdads al-Amiriyah district on Monday evening.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Amiriyah as saying that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets ambushed a joint force of US and puppet troops on the main road in al-Amiriyah. The Resistance attackers set two puppet Shock Troop vehicles ablaze and damaged one American Humvee.
Three American troops were killed and another three of them wounded in the attack. Five puppet Shock Troops were also killed, one of them a colonel. Four puppet Shock Troops were wounded.
After that engagement, Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of 60mm mortar shells into a concentration of US troops, destroying a Humvee.
Monday night Resistance ambush in Baghdad leaves two US troops reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol on the main road in the Nafaq ash-Shurtah (Police Tunnel) area of western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Nafaq ash-Shurtah area as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked a US military patrol on Monday night, inflicting heavy damage on one Humvee and killing two American troops. Thre more US soldiers were wounded in the ambush.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet policemen in southwest Baqubah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet police in the Industrial Zone in the southwestern part of Baqubah, some 65km northeast of Baghdad.
The Baqubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb disabled one patrol vehicle, killing two puppet policemen and wounding three more of them.
Resistance car bomber blasts checkpoint in Baqubah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fidai fighter drive an explosives-laden car into a puppet police checkpoint in the al-Katun area in southern Baqubah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Baqubah puppet police as saying that the car bomber blew up at the checkpoint, disabling one puppet police vehicle and killing two puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked the puppet Police Directorate of al-Miqdadiyah, and the headquarters of the city courts around dawn at 6am local time Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Miqdadiyah, located about 85km northeast of Baghdad, as saying that dozens of Resistance fighters deployed throughout the city and took over, closing the roads to the court house and the center of town. The Resistance forces, armed with all sorts of weapons light and medium arms, pipe rockets, and hand grenades attacked the puppet police and destroyed a large part of the puppet police directorate. The puppet police directorate and courthouse buildings were also set ablaze.
The Resistance attackers released Resistance fighters being held prisoner and killed 16 puppet policemen. Another 17 puppet police were wounded in the large-scale and organized assault. After carrying out their mission, the Resistance fighters withdrew, having suffered no casualties on their side, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
US finally allows aid into area devastated by American offensive.
After wrecking havoc for four days with its massive offensive against the people of the Samarra area, some 120km north of Baghdad, US forces on Tuesday finally allowed aid convoys from the Iraqi Red Crescent in to the area to provide help to the devastated population.
A source in the Iraqi Red Crescent told Quds Press that the Americans had allowed an aid convoy into the village of al-Jallam and that they were awaiting permission to go into the villages of al-Milh and al-Bu Khaddu. In the past two days, the Red Crescent had been able to provide aid to families who fled those areas, which were still sealed off by the US forces.
Abdallah Sallumn, the head of the Red Crescent said that about 150 families had managed to flee the area under American assault. He said that the Red Crescent had encountered a great deal of difficulty in helping them, however, because the roads in the area are rough and rocky and the distance between gatherings of residents are long.
Sallum said, Today we sent a medical convoy with three doctors and an ambulance with medical supplies for more than 1,000 refugees. He added that the Red Crescent offices in Samarra and for Salah ad-Din Province were working round the clock to try to bring aid to the refugees.

Iraqi Resistance seizes control of village in middle of area where US offensive against Samarra is taking place.
In a dispatch posted at 8:05pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had taken complete control of the town of al-Mutasim, located about 25km south of Samarra.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from the al-Mutasim area that as of 4pm local time Tuesday afternoon, the town was under total control by the Iraqi Resistance whose fighters had deployed in its streets and lanes. Despite the continuing massive US offensive in the entire area, al-Mutasim was clear of all American or Iraqi puppet troops.
At 4:30pm local time Tuesday afternoon, the Resistance fighters ambushed a convoy of four trucks that were hauling food supplies that originally were supposed to be distributed to the people of the villages in the area that the Americans have wrecked. But pro-American Shii sectarians leading the puppet regime convoy drove the aid trucks past the devastated area, most of whose population is Sunni, and were driving the convoy off towards Shii areas in the vicinity of the city of Balad and Alam.
The Resistance captured the convoy and supervised the distribution of the food supplies and aid to local families living in school buildings and tents after American forces had destroyed or driven them from their homes.
Resistance bomb blasts US troops in village near Samarra Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 7:20pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the village of Banat al-Hasan, 16km north of Samarra, at 3pm local time Tuesday afternoon.
The Samarra correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported an employee of a humanitarian agency belonging to the Iraqi Red Crescent Society as saying that the bomb was apparently planted at the edge of the sidewalk and went off as a US foot patrol was walking past. The aid worker said that the blast left five US troops either killed or wounded.
Another witness said that the explosion sent pieces of paving tiles flying into the faces of the US soldiers like shrapnel.
The correspondent observed a group of American troops with ambulances gathered in the area. They imposed a curfew as they worked to remove signs of the attack.
As a form of punishment to the villagers, the US forces ordered all aid to be cut off from the village and ordered the Red Crescent out of town. Previously, aid workers for the Red Crescent had been allowed into the city to provide assistance to the more than 200 families of the village.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet Shock Troops in Samarra.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in the middle of Samarra, some 120km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Samarra as saying that the bomb exploded on the road to the puppet Shock Troop headquarters in the city. The blast destroyed one patrol vehicle, killing two puppet Shock Troops and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills three US troops in southwest of ad-Dujayl Monday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Resistance bombs exploded simultaneously by a US military column on the main road in the Yathrib area, some 75km north of Baghdad, an a Resistance attack that took place on Monday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported reported residents of the Yathrib area as saying that the blast completely destroyed one vehicle and disabled a second. Three US troops were killed and three more wounded in the attack.

Resistance fires heavy mortar round into joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters in Tall Afar.
In a dispatch posted at 6:05pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar shell into the joint headquarters of US and Iraqi puppet forces in the middle of the town of Tall Afar, west of Mosul in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Tall Afar puppet police as saying that one heavy 120mm mortar round blasted into the joint headquarters, inflicting damage on one of the buildings and wounding two American soldiers and four Iraqi puppet troops, three of them officers.

Resistance forces bombard puppet police academy in Mosul Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the Iraqi puppet police academy in the ash-Shalalat area in the western part of the northern city of Mosul on Tuesday morning.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bombardment inflicted extensive physical damage to the building housing the academy. Pillars of smoke could be seen rising from the building, but no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.
Four puppet National Guards killed in Resistance bomb attack in southern Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of puppet Iraqi National Guard troops in the al-Qiyarah are of southern Mosul in northern Iraq.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Qiyarah as saying that the bomb completely destroyed one of the vehicles in the column, killing four puppet National Guards.
