Deadly Resistance bomb blasts American column west of al-Qa’im Saturday night.

In a bulletin posted at 9pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded by a US military column west of the city of al-Qa’im, near the Iraqi border with Syria.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi Resistance as saying that a Resistance fida’i fighter blew himself up by a US column that was heading to the Husaybah area. The source confirmed that the explosion left several US soldiers dead or wounded.

At the time of reporting, American troop were surrounding the area where the attack occurred, and had begun to search the area as US helicopters prowled the skies above, shining search lights on the area where the Americans were operating.

Al-Khalidiyah.

Resistance bomb blasts American troops in al-Khalidiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:22pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb blasted a US military column on the main road in the middle of the town of al-Khalidiyah, some 80km west of Baghdad.

The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance bomb went off when a column of US vehicles was driving past. The explosion completely destroyed one Humvee, killing or wounding the four US troops aboard it. US troops responded to the bomb explosion by opening fire indiscriminately around the area, wounding two Iraqi civilians who were nearby.

Al-Fallujah.

Deadly Resistance car bombs rip through US columns in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah. One blast alone reportedly kills three US troops.

In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had carried out two attacks on US troops in the area of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, a suburb southwest of al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the al-Bu Huwi area to the west of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah. The blast disabled one Humvee and wounded two US troops.

Witnesses said that in a second Resistance attack, an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the main road in he middle of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah exploded by an American patrol. The blast completely destroyed a Humvee, killing three American soldiers who were aboard it, the witnesses reported.

In a dispatch posted at 9:50pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US column in the area known as al-Muthallath (“The Triangle”) on the road to ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah at about 12 noon, local time Saturday.

Witnesses said that the Resistance bomb went off by a US Zeal troop transporter, destroying it and all the soldiers aboard.

Following the bombing, US forces withdrew from several houses that they had occupied in the area some time ago, turning them into their local headquarters.

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded by US columns in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah on Friday afternoon as well.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Irqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a column of several US vehicles in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah at 5pm local time Friday afternoon. Eyewitnesses said that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter was at the wheel of the vehicle, which slammed directly into a US armored vehicle. The blast totally destroyed the vehicle and, since none of the Americans inside the vehicle emerged after the blast, killed all aboard.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US solider in western ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the Kilometer 5 area to the west of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the Kilometer 5 area as saying that the soldier was taking part in a US military patrol near the ‘Ulwat ar-Rashid vegetable and fruit market when an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet struck and killed him.

Baghdad.

Director of puppet regime’s TV company assassinated in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed the Director of the al-‘Iraqiyah Satellite TV station ﾐ the mouthpiece of the US-installed puppet “government” in Iraq. The attack took place in that al-Khadra’ district of western Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Khadra’ neighborhood who witnessed the attack as saying that armed men attacked Amjad Hamid, the Director of al-‘Iraqiyah TV, killing him instantly.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet “Shock Troops” in az-Za‘faraniyah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in southeastern Baghdad’s az-Za‘faran area.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of az-Za‘faran as saying that a Resistance bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road in the south of the district blew up as the puppet “Shock Troop” patrol was driving past. The explosion disabled one patrol vehicle, killing two puppet “Shock Troops” and wounding two more of them. A civilian who happened to be nearby was also injured in the blast.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet “Iraqi National Guards” on road to al-‘Azim.

In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of Iraqi puppet “National Guard” troops on the main road leading to al-‘Azim, some 100km north of Baghdad.

The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the city puppet police as saying that a bomb went off by the column, destroying one Nissan troop transport and killing two Iraqi puppet “National Guardsmen” and wounding two more of them.

Salman Bak.

Three US troops reported killed by Resistance bomb in Salman Bak.

In a dispatch posted at 10am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the Salman Bak area, some 35km southeast of Baghdad.

The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Salman Bak who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb completely destroyed a US Humvee in the column, killing three US troops who were aboard it and wounding a fourth.

In a dispatch posted at 9:40am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in al-Mushahadah, some 25km north of Baghdad.

The al-Mushahadah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which was planted beside the road to at-Tarimiyah, a few kilometers to the northeast, blew up as a US column was passing by, totally destroying a Humvee and killing one US soldier and severely wounding three more of them.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters Saturday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters west of al-Yusufiyah, some 25km southwest of Baghdad, Saturday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Yusufiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that Resistance forces unleashed a barrage of 82mm mortar shells on the headquarters, setting off explosions and sending pillars of smoke billowing into the sky from inside the compound.

Resistance fighters battle puppet troops in Kirkuk area village.

In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance forces and puppet “Iraqi Army” troops in the Yankijah area of central Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the Yankijah village area as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons battled with puppet troops in violent combat. Two puppet regime vehicles were disabled and four puppet army troops killed in the fighting. Seven more of the puppet army soldiers were wounded. Two Iraqi Resistance fighters were also killed, witnesses said.

In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the main road in the al-Wahdah neighborhood of southeastern Mosul.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Wahdah neighborhood who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the road near the eastern fuel station blew up as an American military column was driving by. The explosion totally destroyed one US armored vehicle, killing three American soldiers and wounding two more of them.

Series of Resistance bombs in Mosul’s as-Sihhah neighborhood leaves four Iraqi puppet policemen dead, five more injured.

In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a series of Iraqi Resistance bombs had explode by a patrol of Iraqi puppet policemen on the main road in the as-Sihhah area of eastern Mosul.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the as-Sihhah neighborhood as saying that a number of Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded nearly simultaneously by a passing patrol of the puppet police. The blasts, disabled two patrol vehicles and severely damaged a third. Four Iraqi puppet policemen were killed and five more of them were wounded, some of them severely, the local eyewitnesses said.

Two US troops wounded in bomb explosion in Mosul’s al-Muthanna neighborhood.

In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main street in the al-Muthanna neighborhood of western Mosul in northern Iraq.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Muthanna who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted near the ash-Shahid Mazin Mosque on the main road in the neighborhood blew up as a US patrol passed by. The explosion disabled one Humvee, wounding two American soldiers, one of them severely.

Resistance sharpshooter kills Iraqi puppet “National Guardsman” in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an Iraqi puppet army soldier in the al-Intisar section of central Mosul.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Intisar neighborhood as saying that a group of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” was on a road in the area when an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bulled cut down one of them, killing him instantly.

Tall ‘Afar.

Resistance bomb blasts US column on Sinjar-Tall ‘Afar road, reportedly killing US soldier.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the Sinjar-Tall ‘Afar road west of Mosul in northern Iraq.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road blew up as a US column was driving past. The explosion disabled a US armored vehicle, killing one American soldier and wounding three more of them.
