Two US troops reported killed in bombing in al-Khalidiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 7:55pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a foot patrol of US and Iraqi puppet regime troops in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area, some 80km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Fahhamah area in Jazirat al-Khalidiyah who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the main road in the area blew up by the joint foot patrol.� The explosion killed two US troops and three Iraqi puppet soldiers and wounded three American troops and three Iraqi puppet soldiers, the correspondent reported.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance bombards base of US, Iraqi puppet forces in al-Haqlaniyah.

In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar rounds into a camp used jointly by US and Iraqi puppet military forces near the al-Haqlaniyah bridge, southeast of al-Hadithah in western Iraq.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Hadithah who witnessed the barrage as saying that the mortar shells scored direct hits on the camp, sending pillars of smoke rising into the sky.

Ar-Ramadi.

Three US troops reported wounded in Resistance bombing in ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 7:50pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on the main road in the middle of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road opposite the State Mosque in the middle of the city blew up by a passing American column.� The explosion disabled one American armored vehicle, wounding three US troops.

Five beheaded bodies found north of ar-Ramadi midday Saturday.

In a dispatch posted at 6:45pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that for the second time in two days, residents of the al-Bu Ghanim area north of ar-Ramadi discovered five beheaded bodies set by the side of the main highway that runs by the city at midday Saturday.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a number of local residents as saying that armed men took five bound and blindfolded persons and beheaded them out of sight of the local residents.

As was the case with the beheaded bodies found in the al-Bu Ghanim area on Friday, the bodies discovered Saturday had no identity papers on them and had not been identified.� The bodies were taken to the morgue in ar-Ramadi hospital.

Resistance battles US troops in ar-Ramadi Saturday evening.

In a bulletin posted at 6:25pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting was going on between Iraqi Resistance forces and US occupation troops in the eastern part of ar-Ramadi at that time.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the sound of violent explosions and the exchange of gunfire could be heard even from a long distance away.� No further details were immediately available, however.

Resistance bomb blasts US Humvee west of ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the al-Jazirah area west of ar-Ramadi.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Jazirah area as saying that a bomb by the road to the highway blew up as a US patrol of several Humvees was driving past.� The explosion disabled one of the Humvees, killing or wounding the members of its three-man American crew.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bombards US headquarters in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the city as saying that the mortar shells scored direct hits on the Ameirican-occupied headquarters.

US carries out raids and arrests in northern neighborhoods of al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces at dawn launched a campaign of raids, searchers, and arrests in northern neighborhoods of al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that US forces encircled th northern neighborhoods of the city at dawn and began their raids.� No further details were immediately available because the American forces had sealed of that part of town.

Baghdad.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet National Guards in at-Taji.

In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet Iraqi National Guard patrol on the main road in the Baghdad suburb of at-Taji, some 20km north of the occupied Iraqi capital.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Taji as saying that the bomb disabled one Nissan troop carrier, killing two Iraqi puppet Guards and wounding three more of them.

Mysterious explosion reportedly kills eight civilians in Baghdads Jisr Diyala area.

In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious car bomb exploded in a car garage in southeastern Baghdad section of Jisr Diyala on Saturday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an explosives-packed car that had bee parked in the car park blew up killing eight local civilians and wounding 20 more of them.

Quds Press reported that seven people were killed and about 20 more wounded in the explosion but quoted a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the blast was the result of a mortar shell blasting into the crowded area about an hour after the curfew had been lifted.� The source said that the mortar round of unknown origin blasted into a crowded market in the Jisr Diyala area. He denied that the explosion had come from a car bomb.

The blast came about one hour after the puppet regime lifted its ban on vehicular traffic in Baghdad, a ban that it imposed Friday morning.

Immediately following the blast, ambulances rushed to the area and US troops closed it off.� Victims were taken to the az-Zafaraniyah Hospital nearby.�

Such mysterious attacks, which unlike Resistance operations have no clear target among US forces or local puppet troops or officials, are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to try to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country, enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning Iraq along ethnic and religious lines.

Resistance bomb targets puppet Shock Troops in ad-Durah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) on the main road in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Durah as saying that the bomb disabled a patrol vehicle, killing one puppet Shock Troop soldier.

Resistance bomb blasts US supply convoy near a-Duluiyah Saturday.

In a dispatch posted at 5:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US convoy on the main road near ad-Duluiyah, north of Baghdad� on Saturday.

The Samarra correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Duluiyah as saying that a Resistance bomb exploded by a convoy of several trucks hauling provisions to US bases in the area.� The blast destroyed one truck, wounding its driver.

Baqubah.

Resistance kills two pro-American Badr Brigade militiamen in Baqubah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed two pro-American Shii sectarian Badr Brigade gunmen in Baqubah, some 65km northeast of Baghdad.

The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Baqubah as saying that Resistance fighters attacked the two Badr Brigade gunmen, one of them concurrently also an officer in the puppet police, in the south of the city.� After the attack, the Resistance fighters withdrew from the scene.

Kirkuk.

Bomb blasts US patrol in Kirkuk Saturday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Saturday morning.

Quds Press reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a bomb exploded by a passing American patrol, damaging a vehicle.� The source said that the nature and extent of US casualties was unknown.

Al-Hawijah.

In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a mortar bombardment on the US-occupied al-Bakarah Base in the area of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hawijah as saying that the bombardment sent plumes of smoke rising over the American-occupied base.

Four US troops reported killed in noon bombing in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 8pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by in the al-Muhandisin neighborhood in the middle of Mosul in northern Iraq at noon on Saturday.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying tah a high-explosive bomb that had been planted under a refuse piled in the middle of the main road blew up as a US patrol was driving past.� The explosion destroyed one Humvee, killing four US troops who were aboard it.

In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the al-Muthanna neighborhood of central Mosul in northern Iraq.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Muthanna as saying that the bomb disabled one Humvee, wounding two American troops.
