Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Qaim killing or wounding four American troops early Friday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in al-Qaim in western Iraq, near the Syrian border early Friday afternoon.
The al-Qaim correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the 12 Rabi ath-Thani neighborhood of the city as saying that an Iraqi Resistance bomb that was planted by the side of the road exploded at 1pm local time Friday afternoon, destroying an American Humvee and killing or wounding the four US troops who were aboard it.
The correspondent saw the blood stains left behind on the road after the Americans had evacuated their casualties and withdrawn from the area.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance batters US base east of al-Fallujah with heavy mortars at dawn Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a heavy mortar assault on the US base east of al-Fallujah in the early hours of dawn on Friday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that residents of the residents of the al-Askari and ad-Dubbat neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city awoke at 5am local time to the sound of nine explosions shaking the nearby US base. US helicopters were observed prowling the skies following the attack.
A source in the Iraqi Resistance said that they had fired nine heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US base at dawn.
Al-Khalidiyah.
High-explosive Resistance bomb in al-Khalidiyah reportedly kills three US Marines Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol near the Martyrs Cemetery in the town of al-Khalidiyah, some 80km west of Baghdad on Friday morning.
The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at 9:15am local time Friday morning a US armored column entered al-Khalidiyah along with a US Marine column on foot. The force was there to raid houses and carry out searches two days after the arrest of 10 local residents in a previous American raid.
A high-yield bomb that had been planted under a pile of rubbish by the side of the road opposite the Martyrs Cemetery blew up by the foot patrol, killing at least three Marines and wounding two more of them according to nearby shopkeepers who witnessed the bombing.
The correspondent added that the US occupation forces then called in helicopters and several military ambulances to evacuate the casualties to the main US base west of the city. They completely shut down the road, and it remained closed at the time the correspondent filed his report.
Ar-Ramadi.
Eight beheaded bodies found in ar-Ramadi.
In a bulletin posted at 12:26pm Mecca time midday Friday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eight beheaded bodies had been found in the of al-Bu Ghanim area of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that he bodies had been laid out 50 meters from the main road, they were lined up, each with his head on his chest. The bodies had no identity papers on them.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Americans storm neighborhood in al-Habbaniyah arresting and robbing residents.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US military forces mounted an airborne landing in the ad-Duwar al-Isbaniyah section of the city of al-Habbaniyah, 69km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the US troops stormed into a number of apartments and houses in the area, arresting 14 local residents and confiscating a number of licensed light weapons that people had for self-defense.
The correspondent added that some of the residents complained that the American troops sole money and gold jewelry during their raids, one saying that the US troops had robbed him of a one million Iraqi dinars and US$150.

Resistance mortar shell blasts front gate of puppet Interior Ministry in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance mortar shell landed near the puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry in downtown Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast wounded a number of the guards at the main gate of the puppet ministry. After the attack, puppet Interior Ministry troops could be seen surrounding the area and dispersing into the side streets around the area in fear of a continued bombardment.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Baghdad was relatively quiet on Friday morning following a declaration by the US-installed puppet regime of a ban on vehicular traffic in the occupied Iraqi capital. The puppet regime also sealed off the city, allowing no one in or out.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the streets were indeed empty of cars, other than those of the US military and the Iraqi puppet police and puppet military.
A source in the puppet police in the Baghdad district of al-Karakh said by telephone that only one violent act had been reported in Baghdad Friday morning.

The correspondent reported that Sunni mosques in Baghdad appeared totally empty of worshippers at the time of dawn prayers and there was still little activity around them even as Friday congregational prayer time approached.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US and Iraqi puppet troops encircled the city of at-Tarimiyah, just north of Baghdad on Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that what he called a security operation began in the town on Friday morning as a part of a plan to arrest what the puppet army source said were prominent people who support the Iraqi Resistance.
The Mafkarat al-Islam editorial office reported that it had been unable to make contact with their correspondent in at-Tarimiyah to get further details because the occupation had shut down all means of communication with the blockaded city.

US soldier reported killed in bomb attack in al-Mundhiriyah Friday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the border crossing town of al-Mundhiriyah on the frontier with Iran Friday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been built into a cooking gas canister and thrown by the side of the road in the at-Tawq area in the town blew up by an American patrol, destroying a US Humvee and killing one US soldier. Three other American troops were wounded in the blast, one of them severely.
After the bombing, US troops arrested seven local residents, accusing them of having been involved.

Al-Latifiyah.
Resistance bomb kills five pro-American Shii sectarian Badr Brigade gunmen.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a pro-American Badr Brigade vehicle in the middle of the town of al-Latifiyah, south of Baghdad.
The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Badr Brigade gunmen were driving two four-wheel-drive Landcruisers through the town on their way to the US military base west of the city when a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road exploded. The blast totally destroyed one of the Landcruisers, killing five of the Badr Brigade gunmen. The correspondent reported that the second Landcruiser continued on its way not stopping to help the other car.
The correspondent reported that Iraqi puppet army troops confirmed that the five dead men had been members of the Badr Brigades.

Mosul.
US soldiers board bus carrying college girls in Mosul and make them strip, baring their heads and breasts.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40pm Mecca time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a few days ago US troops in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul stopped a bus carrying students at the local Women Teachers Training Institute and forced the young women at gunpoint to uncover their heads and bare their breasts.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US patrol halted a bus belonging to the Central Teachers Training Institute in Mosul as it was on its way to the institution at 7:30am local time. American male soldiers accompanied by a number of US women troops boarded the bus and ordered the driver to get out of the vehicle that had a capacity of 44 passengers.
The Americans then tied up the driver and threw him on the ground. Next, as the American troops trained their guns on the women, one of the Americans, speaking broken Arabic, ordered them to open their shirts and expose their breasts. The American soldiers also demanded that they take off their head coverings and expose their heads and hair.
One of the women students who has since decided to quit the school later spoke to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent about the incident. She recounted that they were all shocked by the soldiers order and tried to scream for help as loudly as they could, calling Help, save our honor! God is greatest! Help, save our dignity! God is greatest! Their screams and weeping only made the Americans laugh and make fun of them. One of the soldiers yelled at them and pointed his gun over their heads and they were forced to uncover their heads and bare their breasts.
The woman said that meanwhile, their screams had been heard by people in the area who ran to get the principal of the Teachers Institute. She immediately hurried to the scene along with the local Director of Education, a crowd of local men, and some of the puppet police. The Americans then got down out of the bus, as many of the women inside passed out unconscious from the shock and humiliation.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent spoke with Shaykh Duwwas ash-Shamari, one of the tribal chiefs in the Mosul area and he confirmed the story. He said it was true and that he had confirmed it with one of the women who had been aboard the bus too. He said that the Americans had indeed committed the outrage, even though the puppet governor of Mosul and some other local puppet officials denied the reports claiming that they had to do so in order to avoid stirring up the whole citys population.
The Iraqi Resistance responded to the reports that same day by shelling four US military headquarters in Mosul, destroying two Humvees.
One of the women teachers in the Institute told Mafkarat al-Islam that a large number of the students had quit the program after the humiliating outrage. Meanwhile, several local journalists who work for various news agencies also learned of the incident from local people and relatives of the women but were unwilling to report it publicly.
One of the women students told Mafkarat al-Islam that she was determined to send a letter about the crime to Arab and Islamic states appealing to them to take heed from what was going on in Iraq for the sake of the future. She said wants them to be aware of what Americas talk of freedom and democracy really means. She wants them to think about what can happen to free women in the shadow of American democracy.

Three British troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in al-Amarah.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Mecca time Friday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a British patrol in northeastern al-Amarah, a city located in southeastern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb went off near the al-Wafa School, destroying one British army Jeep and killing three British troops. One civilian who was in the vicinity was wounded.
The correspondent reported that at the time of reporting, the area where the bombing took place was surrounded by British and Iraqi puppet army forces.
