Two foreign mercenaries killed in Resistance attack in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 6pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a column of armor-plated four-wheel drive vehicles and a patrol of Iraqi puppet army troops in central al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets ambushed the column of four-wheel-drive armor-plated vehicles driven by mercenaries working for the US occupation forces. The attack destroyed one of the vehicles and left two of the foreign mercenaries dead and two more of them wounded.
In a separate Resistance attack, fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked a patrol of puppet army troops near the city market in al-Fallujah. Eyewitnesses reported that one Iraqi puppet army soldier was killed and three more of them wounded. Four civilians were wounded when the puppet troops opened fire indiscriminately at local civilians at the time of the attack.
Fighting erupts in al-Fallujah.
Fighting erupted after noon in al-Fallujah on Monday as Iraqi Resistance fighters clashed with US and Iraqi puppet forces in the city.
Quds Press reported that the battle broke out in the eastern al-Fallujah neighborhood of al-‘Askari where plumes of smoke rose into the sky and the sounds of explosions and gunfire could be heard. American forces closed off many streets in the area as swarms of helicopters flew in overhead.
Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier in al-Fallujah.
An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in al-Fallujah Monday morning, the al-Fallujah correspondent for Quds Press reported.
Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that a US soldier who had been aboard a vehicle was flung to the ground when a bullet fired by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter struck and killed him. The shooting occurred near the medical complex in the city at 10:30am local time. After the attack US troops closed off the area and then stormed into the medical complex to carry out searches.
Resistance fighters ambush US military column, wounding two American troops.
In a dispatch posted at 10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked a column of US troops on the New Road in eastern al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that the Resistance fighters damaged one vehicle in the American column, wounding two US soldiers.
Resistance ambush in northeast al-Fallujah leaves three puppet troops dead. Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 9:40am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed an Iraqi puppet army foot patrol in al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood of northeast al-Fallujah as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms attacked a puppet army foot patrol, killing three puppet soldiers and wounding two more before slipping away.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier in west Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US patrol on the al-‘Amal ash-Sha‘bi Street in western Baghdad’s al-‘Amiriyah district.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-‘Amiriyah as saying that an explosives-laden car exploded, disabling a Humvee and killing one US soldier and wounding three more.
Puppet official in northern Baghdad assassinated.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Monday aftrnoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed the Editor-In-Chief of the Governorate of al-Qurnah in northern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance fighters opened fire on him as he and his wife were in their personal car in al-Qurnah. Following the attack, the Resistance fighters withdrew from the area.

US soldier reported killed in Resistance bombing in northern Tikrit.
In a dispatch posted at pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road north of Tikrit, about 180km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents in the al-‘Alam district of northern Tikrit who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb went off as a column of several US Humvees was driving past. The explosion disabled one of the Humvees, killing one US soldier and wounding four other persons, one of them the head of the dispatchers department in the Tikrit puppet police, and another a puppet policeman, both of whom were nearby at the time.
Ad-Dulu‘iyah.
Resistance bomb blasts US convoy near ad-Dulu‘iyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the main road south of the city of ad-Dulu‘iyah, about 95km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dulu‘iyah as saying hat the bomb, which was planted by the side of the road to Balad in the south blew up as a convoy of several US trucks and Humvees drove by. The blast disabled one Humvee, wounding four American troops who had been aboard it.

Resistance bomb targets puppet “Shock Troops” in al-Mada’in.
In a dispatch posted at 9pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in the middle of al-Mada’in, southeast of Baghdad.
The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb killed two puppet “Shock Troops” and wounded two more of them.
Al-Miqdadiyah.
Resistance fighters assault puppet army checkpoint in al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet army soldiers in the al-Miqdadiyah area, about 85km northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Miqdadiyah as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the checkpoint, damaging two puppet army vehicles and killing one Iraqi puppet soldier. Three more puppet soldiers were wounded in the attack.

Two US troops reported killed in bombing northwest of al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on a farm road between al-Yusufiyah, some 25km southwest of Baghdad, and the Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb went off as a patrol of five Humvees was driving along the farm road. The blast completely destroyed one Humvee, killing two US troops and seriously wounding a third.

Resistance mortars pound US al-Bakkarah base near al-Hawijah.
In a dispatch posted at 9:30am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five heavy mortar rounds, believed to be of about 100mm caliber, into the US al-Bakarah base in al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Hawijah as saying that the barrage set off violent explosions inside the US-occupied base and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb wounds US troops in al-Mawsil.
In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the al-Muthanna neighborhood in western al-Mawsil (Mosul) in northern Iraq.
The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses in al-Muthanna as saying that the bomb on the road to Baghdad disabled an American armored vehicle and wounded three US troops.

Resistance fighters kill puppet policeman in al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed an Iraqi puppet policeman in the al-Jumhuriyah area of al-Basrah in southern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Jumhuriyah as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns attacked the puppet policeman, ‘Ali Muhawdir, who was concurrently a member of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades, killing him and them leaving the area.
