In a dispatch posted at 8:25pm Makkah (Mecca) time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column east of al-Habbaniyah, on the road to al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad
The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Fallahat Village east of al-Habbaniyah as saying that the bomb disabled one Humvee. US forces quickly surrounded the area of the attack, preventing the correspondent from ascertaining any information regarding the nature or extent of US casualties.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance car bomber blasts into joint US-Iraqi puppet army checkpoint in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah midday Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove a car bomb into a checkpoint jointly manned by US and Iraqipuppet army troops in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, the suburb some 7km southwest of the city of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fighter drove the explosives-laden car into the checkpoint at the entrance to the housing complex in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah at 1pm local time midday Wednesday.
The witnesses said that the car blew up in the checkpoint and that the explosion was followed by wild gunfire from the troops at the post. Ambulances could be heard racing to the scene.
US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in al-Fallujah, followed by death of Iraqi puppet soldier in same area.
In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the Industrial Zone of al-Fallujah on Wednesday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that the soldier was on observation duty on the main road opposite the Industrial Zone in eastern al-Fallujah when he took a direct hit from a Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.
The witnesses said that a Resistance sharpshooter ﾐ whether the same one or another, they did not know ﾐ shot and killed an Iraqi puppet “Order Protection” soldier in the same area a short time later.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bomb blasts joint US-Iraqi puppet column near ar-Ramadi, American soldier reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Makkah time midday Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on al-Madiq Road east of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Madiq as saying that the explosion destroyed an American personnel carrier, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in Husaybah, near al-Qa’im Wednesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the Husaybah area near al-Qa’im not far from the border with Syria in western Iraq, at about 7:30am local time Wednesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Husaybah as saying that the blast completely destroyed one Humvee, killing or wounding the four US troops who were aboard it.
Abu Ghurayb.
Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing south of Abu Ghurayb.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the Old Khan Darri Road south of Abu Ghurayb, some 30km west of Baghdad.
The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local witnesses as saying that the blast disabled a Humvee, killing two US troops and wounding two more of them.

Iraqi President Saddam Husayn accuses US-installed puppet “Interior Ministry” of torturing and murdering thousands of Iraqis.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi President Saddam Husayn launched a sharp attack on the American-installed puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” in the latest session of the mock US-run “trial” underway in Baghdad. The Iraqi President pointed out that the puppet “Ministry” was responsible for the murder of thousands of Iraqis since the American occupation of his country.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the Reuters news agency as saying that the Iraqi President on Wednesday referred to the puppet “Ministry,” saying “it is the party that has killed thousands in the streets and tortures them.” When the American-appointed “Judge” tried to cut the Iraqi President off, Saddam Husayn asked whether the “Judge” was afraid of the puppet “Interior Minister,” because “he doesn’t even scare his dog.”
Even international media and agencies have reported that “death squads” operated under the aegis of the American-installed “Ministry of the Interior” in occupied Iraq have been running torture and murder centers each of which holds hundreds of prisoners not officially acknowledged to be in custody by the Americans or the puppet regime.
The American-run “trial” on Wednesday regarded the daily bloodshed and affliction of the Iraqi population under the current US occupation as “irrelevant” to its theatrical proceedings, focusing solely on Saddam Husayn. Wednesday’s session was aimed at presenting him as a “criminal” for signing the execution orders of 148 individuals convicted of their involvement in a 1982 plot to assassinate the Iraqi President at that time.
In the course of Wednesday’s session, the “Judge” threw Bushra al-Khalil, a Lebanese attorney on Saddam Husayn’s defense team, out of the “courtroom” claiming that she had raised her voice.
The incident arose when the American-appointed “Judge” allowed the playing of a pro-American propaganda videotape on which a recorded voice of the Iraqi President Saddam Husayn was heard pledging to crush Iraq’s enemies. The voice recording came from a speech made by the Iraqi President during the Iraq-Iran war. But the propaganda tape used the speech as a voiceover for scenes of unidentified people being beaten. When Bushra al-Khalil saw the tape she protested that she had photographs showing Iraqis who had been tortured by the Americans in the notorious Abu Ghurayb prison camp. In response, the American-installed “Judge” expelled al-Khalil, complaining that she was not behaving in a “disciplined” way and was making a “commotion.”
The Iraqi President denounced the legitimacy of the mock “trial” to which he and several fellow Iraqi officials are being subjected. The American Associated Press (AP) quoted Saddam Husayn as saying that “a body whose base and formation is illegitimate and unjust cannot pronounce justice. How could anyone imagine that it could issue a verdict on the Iraqi president, who stood as a sharp spear in the eyes of those who planned and worked to poke out Iraq’s eyes?”
After about six hours in session, the American-appointed “Judge,” Ra’uf Rashid ‘Abd ar-Rahman adjourned the session until Thursday, 6 April.
Mysterious car bombs kill civilians in Baghdad midday Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious car bomb exploded by Palestine street in eastern Baghdad’s Bayrut Square after noon on Wednesday, killing three civilians and wounding 16 others.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses as saying that the explosives-laden car had been left by the side of Palestine Street in Bayrut Square where it blew up.
Another mysterious car bomb exploded in northwestern Baghdad’s ash-Shu‘lah district. Witnesses there said that an explosives-packed car that had been left by the side of the main road in ash-Shu‘lah blew up after noon Wednesday, killing one civilian and wounding 15 others.
In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets ﾐ occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime ﾐ the latest wave of attacks appear targeted exclusively on civilians. Such mysterious attacks are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.
Armed men in puppet “National Guard” uniforms kill, kidnap employees of ‘Iraquna cell phone company in al-Mansur.
In a dispatch posted at 3:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men attacked the headquarters of the ‘Iraquna portable telephone company in western Baghdad’s al-Mansur district.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Mansur as saying that armed men wearing uniforms of the puppet “National Guard” attacked the company headquarters in al-Mansur, killing two company officers and kidnapping two more of them.
Resistance assassinates translator collaborating with US occupation forces.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked and killed a woman translator who was a collaborator working for the US occupation forces.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the attack occurred on al-Qanat Street in eastern Baghdad. The Resistance fighters opened fire on the woman as she was on her way to work with the American occupation troops, killing her. The Resistance fighters then left the area.

Resistance bombards US al-Bakr Airbase near Yathrib.
In a dispatch posted at 9:20am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US-occupied al-Bakr Airbase near the town of Yathrib, about 100km north of Baghdad, on Tuesday evening.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Yathrib as saying that the barrage set off explosions inside the base and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Al-Miqdadiyah.
Resistance bomb northeast of Baghdad wounds US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the road between al-Miqdadiyah Khanaqin. Al-Miqdadiyah is located some 65km northeast of Baghdad, and Khanaqin is another 70km further to the northeast, near the Iranian border.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the road, disabled one Humvee and wounded three American soldiers.

Resistance bomb in al-Mada’in kill three puppet “Shock Troops.”
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” on the main road to al-Mada’in, just southeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the area as saying that the explosion destroyed one of the Toyota Landcruiser (“Monica”) vehicles, killing three puppet “Shock Troops” and wounding two more of them.

US soldier reported dead after Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Latifiyah after noon Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 8:25pm Makkah time Wednesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in al-Latifiyah, some 30km south of Baghdad after noon local time Wednesday.
The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb went off by a US column on the main road, destroying a Humvee and killing one US soldier and wounding three more of them.

Resistance bomb rips through US patrol near al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the highway near the Sadr al-Yusufiyah area, about 25km southwest of Baghdad.
The al-Yusufiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb went off by a patrol of several American Humvees, completely destroying one of them and killing or wounding thee US troops who were aboard it.

Two US troops reported dead in Resistance bombing near al-Hawijah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Makkah time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column near al-Hawijah on the road running southwest from Kirkuk to Bayji in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Kirkuk puppet police as saying that the bomb disabled one American Zeal troop transport vehicle, killing two US soldiers who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in southeastern Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 9:10am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the al-Wahdah neighborhood of southwestern Kirkuk.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Wahdah as saying that the bomb went off next to a column of several Humvees and armored vehicles. The blast disabled one US armored vehicle, killing or wounding the five American soldiers who were aboard it.

Iraqi Resistance observes “crashes” British consulate party with rockets Tuesday night.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired four rockets at the US and British consulates in the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah on Tuesday-Wednesday night.
The correspondent for Quds Press reported that the attack took place as the British consulate was celebrating the Coronation Day of the British Queen Elizabeth II. A large group of politicians, media representatives, and tribal leaders were attending the festivities when two shells blasted into the area around the British consulate. No information on casualties, if any, was available there or at the US consulate where two other shells landed as well.
