Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in as-Saqlawiyah.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills three US troops in al-Karmah, 7km east of al-Fallujah.
Iraqi President Saddam Hussein calls for Iraqi unity in the face of the aggressors, noting that the gates of repentance are open even to those who have previously been astray, salutes efforts by Shii cleric Ali as-Sistani to head off sectarian strife. Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in as-Saqlawiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol near the Interior Department building that the Americans have taken over and turned into a camp in as-Saqlawiyah on the main road running southeast to al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of as-Saqlawiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road blew up by a passing American foot patrol. They said that the explosion killed two US troops and wounded four more of them, some of them severely.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Resistance fighters assault houses stolen from villagers by Iraqi puppet troops.
In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked two houses that Iraqi puppet troops had seized from local villagers in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Kartan area of al-Khalidiyah as saying that Resistance fighters, armed with light and medium weapons, pipe rockets, and mortars, attacked patrols of the puppet army near the two stolen houses and then attacked the houses themselves.
The attack destroyed parts of the houses, killing seven Iraqi puppet troops and wounding another 11 of them, some of them severely.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet National Guard column.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Mecca time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet Iraqi National Guard patrol in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area, some 80km west of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Khalidiyah as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the main road in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area, destroyed a puppet National Guard armored vehicle, killing or wounding its four-man crew.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bomb destroys US robot.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up an American robot on the highway in the city.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents in ar-Ramadi who witnessed the blast as saying that the Americans discovered the bomb and used a robot intended for detonating bombs to blow it up. The explosion destroyed the robot.
Resistance pounds two US headquarters in ar-Ramadi with mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded two headquarters of US occupation troops in the city of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that the Resistance fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters that they have set up in the Agricultural College in the eastern part of the city, scoring direct hits on the American-occupied facility.
The correspondent also reported that the Resistance fired three heavy 120mm mortar shells into the US al-Warrar base located to the west of ar-Ramadi, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky. No information on the nature or extent of casualties from the attacks was available.
Al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol on a farm road in the al-Karmah area northeast of al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Karmah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a farm road went off by a passing American patrol, killing three US troops and wounding three more of them.
Resistance bomb blasts US Humvee in column east of al-Karmah.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the al-Karmah area, 7km east of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Karmah who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb by the main road leading to a branch of the Tigris River east of town blew up and disabled one Humvee. The three American troops who were inside the vehicle were killed or wounded.

In a message circulated over the patriotic Iraqi al-Basrah.net website, defense attorney Khalil ad-Dulaymi announced that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has ended his 11-day hunger strike.
In his message defense attorney Khalil ad-Dulaymi, the head of the Iraqi Presidents legal defense team, as saying that Saddam Hussein has ended his 11-day hunger strike after the intervention of the defense team.
Ad-Dulaymi said that he had met President Saddam Hussein for seven hours on Sunday and found him to be in good health other than the fact that he has lost four or five kilograms due to the hunger strike.
The Iraqi President had announced on 14 February at the 12th session of the US-staged trial being held in occupied Baghdad that he and several of his fellow prisoners have been on hunger strike for three days.
Ad-Dulaymi said that the Iraqi President called on Iraqis to unite, urging them to tighten their ranks and prevent those who wish to spread strife and division among them from doing so. The President saluted Shii religious authority Ayatallah Ali as-Sistani for his efforts to end sectarian strife.
President Saddam Hussein said that what has happened to Iraq and Iraqis is the result of the aggression and the ruin and destruction it caused. He said that this was the will of Almighty God, and a test of the will of the Iraqi people. The President said that Gods mercy was extensive and the doors of repentance are open to all. He said that the doors of repentance would be open even to those who were on the wrong path until the last moments prior to the inevitable victory, which is coming by the grace of God, and by means of your strong hands, you steadfastness, and your unity,
President Saddam Hussein sent his greetings to all Iraqis, the Iraqi tribes and their members and especially saluted al-Anbar Province the example of Iraq with heroic al-Fallujah and its other persevering cities as its crown. He hailed Diyala province and its outstanding position and all the other cities and provinces of Iraq.
Ad-Dulaymi told the press that he had reviewed with his client everything related to the trial. He added that he had requested a delay in a written note to that effect, in view of the current security situation and the courts measures. According to a dispatch carried by Agence France Presse (AFP) and monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, Ad-Dulaymi said that a decision on attendance or non-attendance at the session slated to be held on Tuesday, 28 February would be made later on Monday.
Earlier, the defense team had suspended all its activities in the trial, denouncing the proceedings as illegitimate, illegal and based on the rule of force of the occupation and along sectarian, and racist-ethnic lines.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet Shock Troop patrol in Baghdads ar-Ridwaniyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) on the main road to the al-Jihad neighborhood north of the ar-Ridwaniyah area in western Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in ar-Ridwaniyah reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to the al-Hjihad neighborhood blew up as a Shock Troop patrol was passing by, destroying one patrol vehicle and killing three puppet shock troops. Two more were wounded in the attack.
Mortar shells blast into civilian houses in Baghdads ash-Shulah district.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that several 82mm mortar shelss blasted into a residential neighborhood in Baghdads western ash-Shulah district.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Jawwadeen neighborhood in ash-Shulah as saying that mortar rounds from an unknown source blasted into several homes in the neighborhood, destroying a number of houses and killing five civilians and wounding another 18, some of them severely.
This latest mortar attack on a civilian neighborhood in Baghdad followed several similar incidents late on Sunday, as well as the bombing at a Shii shrine in al-Basrah and another bombing at a bus station in predominantly Shii al-Hillah during the day on Sunday. Prior to that, a car bomb attack in the Shii holy city of Karbala on Saturday killed eight and wounded 30 people. On Wednesday, 22 February two powerful bombs devastated the Shii shrine of the Imam Ali al-Hadi in Samarra. These attacks are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.
Resistance fires Katyusha rockets into US camp in at-Taji.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired two medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US military base in at-Taji, a suburb some 20km north of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Taji as saying that the barrage sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb knocks American mine sweeper out of action Sunday night.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of at-Tarimiyah, north of Baghdad, on the road to nearby al-Mushahadah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road exploded when a US patrol was passing by on Sunday night. The blast disabled a US minesweeper, seriously wounding its crew.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing near al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 6pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road to the al-Mahmudiyah area south of al-Yusufiyah, which is located to the south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Yusufiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the Uwayrij Highway blew up by a passing American column. The blast disabled one American troop transport vehicle, killing two US soldiers and wounding two more of them, the correspondent reported.

Resistance and armed citizens beat off assault by Badr Brigades, Shock Troops.
In a dispatch posted at 3:50pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance fighters and pro-American Badr Brigades and puppet Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in the an-Nahrawan area 25km southeast of Baghdad.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of an-Nahrawan as saying that the battle began when Badr Brigades and Shock Troops tried to storm into the town near the village of Abu Zayd. Iraqi Resistance fighters backed up by local armed citizens resisted the assault, setting four of the attackers vehicles on fire and killing or wounding 15 of the Badr Brigade-Shock Troop force. After that, the remainder of the attackers fled.

Resistance bomb blasts US column north of Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road north of Kirkuk.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb, which had been planted by the side of the main road leading to the north, disabled one Humvee and wounded three American troops aboard it.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet police in the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police as saying that a bomb went off as the patrol passed by, disabling a patrol vehicle and killing one puppet policeman. Four other puppet policemen were wounded, one of them seriously.
