Resistance launches fierce attack on US Marine positions sparking heavy fighting in ar-Ramadi Tuesday night.

In a bulletin posted at 9:15pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent fighting had broken out in ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad. The battle was more intense than anything the city has witnessed in three months.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 70 Resistance fighters had at that time been battling American Marines in the area between the Immigration Department building ﾐ which US forces have occupied and turned into one of their local headquarters ﾐ and the building that formerly housed the city cinema and theater.

The correspondent reported that several Resistance organizations were taking part as a group in the battle. US warplanes fired two rockets into the area, one of them hitting the city cemetery. The correspondent wrote that he did not know where the second American rocket struck.

At the initial time of reporting, US forces were holed up in the Immigration building and surrounding buildings as Resistance fighters, armed with medium weapons and shoulder-launched rockets, Russian-made bazookas, and 62mm mortars pressed their assault.

Then, in a dispatch posted at 11pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the fighting in downtown ar-Ramadi had ended a little while earlier with the withdrawal of the Resistance fighters from the area.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that US military helicopters could be seen landing in the battle zone near the Immigration building, as clouds of smoke thickly enveloped the area according to eyewitnesses. US military ambulances and fire trucks were heading towards the area but no further details were available.

Three US troops reportedly killed in Resistance bombing in ar-Ramadi Monday night.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol on the main road in the Industrial Zone in the eastern part of ar-Ramadi Tuesday morning.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb killed three American troops and wounded three more of them.

Al-Fallujah.

US troops raid Internet caf市 in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, beat up owners, smash computers for sending out news of Resistance attacks.

In a dispatch posted at 6:40pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops raided Internet caf市 in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, a southwestern suburb of al-Fallujah on Tuesday.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported owners of Internet caf市 as saying that US force stormed into their caf市 and attacked and beat them (the owners). They searched the computers in great detail and then told the owners “You are sending out news of strikes directed by ‘terrorists’ against us.” The Americans then smashed the computers and the furniture in the Internet caf市.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills four US troops on foot patrol in al-Fallujah at dawn Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed four US troops in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad at dawn Tuesday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Fallujah as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter opened fire on a US foot patrol in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of the city, killing them instantly.

Afterwards, US and Iraqi puppet troops began house-to-house raids and searches in the al-Mu‘allimin and Nuwwab ad-Dubbat neighborhoods in the north of al-Fallujah, searching for the sharpshooter. At the time of reporting, US forces continued to surround the northern neighborhoods of al-Fallujah.

US launches house-to-house raids, arrests in northern al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:02pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a joint force of US and Iraqi puppet troops launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the neighborhoods of al-Mu‘allimin, and Nuwwab ad-Dubbat in the north of al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the US and Iraqi puppet troops began house-to-house raids in the northern part of the city, storming into homes, wrecking household furniture, and making arrests. No immediate information on the number of arrests was available.

US soldier reported killed in Monday evening bomb attack in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded beside a US military column on the new main road from the eastern entrance to al-Fallujah opposite the industrial zone of that city Monday night.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that the bomb disabled a Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier in at-Taji, north of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed one American soldier and wounded a second in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the ad-Dulayimah area of at-Taji as saying that an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter had killed one US soldier and wounded a second as they were keeping watch near a US military camp near the at-Taji road crossing.

Afterwards, US forces surrounded the nearby areas and mounted a search for the attacker or attackers but found nothing.

Resistance car bomb in western Baghdad’s al-‘Adl district leaves four American troops reported dead.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column on a main road to the west of Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-‘Adl area in western Baghdad as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the road blew up as a US patrol was driving past. The explosion totally destroyed one American personnel carrier, killing four US troops and wounding two more of them, witnesses said. At the time of reporting, US forces continued to surround the scene of the attack preventing anyone from approaching.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “Shock Troop” patrol in Jurf an-Naddaf.

In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” on the main road in the Jurf an-Naddaf area southeast of Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eye witnesses in Jurf an-Naddaf as saying that the bomb destroyed one patrol vehicle, killing three “Shock Troops” and wounding two more of them.

Mysterious car bomb explodes in market in ad-Durah, killing 22.

A car bomb exploded near a market in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Tuesday, killing at least 22 local Iraqis and wounding dozens of others, al-Jazeera satellite TV reported.

Al-Jazeera said that sources in the Iraqi puppet police reported that a car bomb that had been parked by the side of a street near the market exploded in the predominantly Shi‘i Abu Nashir area in ad-Durah. Another puppet police spokesman said that the bomb was probably intended to explode by a puppet police patrol passing through the area but missed its target. Local witnesses said they had seen someone park the car and hurry away shortly before the explosion.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a patrol of puppet “Interior Mininstry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” on the road to the at-Tu‘mah area in the middle of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ad-Durah as saying that the bomb disabled one patrol vehicle, killing two “Shock Troops” and wounding three more of them.

Mercenary “security contractor” killed in bombing in Baghdad Tuesday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of armored vehicles of the type used by mercenary “security contractors” working for the US occupation forces at 9am local time Tuesday morning. The attack took place at the entrance to ar-Rashid Street in the middle of Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a traffic warden who was on the street near the scene of the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road blew up as the column of armored four-wheel-drive vehicles drove past. The explosion disabled one of the vehicles, killing one of the mercenaries and wounding two more of them. Two civilians who were in the area were also wounded in the blast.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guard” column in western Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of Iraqi puppet “National Guards” on the main road in the University area of western Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the area as saying that the bomb disabled one puppet “National Guard” vehicle, killing one Iraqi puppet soldier and wounding three more of them, one of them severely.

In a dispatch posted at 11:58pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported the Zionist website in Hebrew “Israel News” as saying that Iranian media sources had confirmed that three “Israeli” pilots had been killed when their small aircraft crashed in Iraq. The Zionist website, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the small Cessna 501 airplane crashed near the Iran-Iraq border.

Drawing on materials carried by the Iranian Mehr news agency, the Zionist website said that the small plane was carrying six persons, including the three “Israelis.” The website said that the Zionist Foreign Ministry refused to comment on the story, but sources in the German Foreign Ministry had confirmed that that the airplane was carrying two pilots and two German contractor businessmen who were en route to the construction site of a factory in the predominantly Kurdish area in northern Iraq. Another person aboard the plane was a Kurdish puppet official. The German sources did not allude to the nationality of the airplane crew.

The Zionist website reported that US military forces raced immediately to the scene of the crash to gather the remains of the passengers and crew. Kurdish sources, meanwhile, confirmed that they succeeded in collecting all the corpses before Iranians were able to get their hands on them ﾐ an allusion to the fact that Iranian agents were aware of the flight and were searching for the wreckage of the airplane and the “Israeli” bodies.

The Zionist website reported experts as saying that the speed with which the American troops arrived on the scene proved that the airplane was no ordinary flight or that it was carrying no ordinary passengers.

Mafkarat al-Islam noted that in 2005 a similar incident had occurred when the Iraqi Resistance shot down a Zionist plane carrying Zionist Mossad officials. On that occasion too, US military forces arrived immediately to surround the area and recover the remains of the Zionists to return them to occupied Palestine, as the Americans and Zionist strove to keep a tight lid on the crash.

Resistance bomb blasts US column near al-Mushahadah, north of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 6:30pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road south of al-Mushahadah, 32km north of Baghdad.

The al-Mushahadah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded as a column of several US troop transports and Humvees drove past. The explosion disabled one Humvee, killing or wounding three US troops who were aboard it.

Balad.

Resistance bomb near Balad reportedly kills two US troops.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the Yathrib area south of Balad, some 75km north of Baghdad.

The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Yathrib as saying that a bomb exploded by a column of several US military vehicles including Bradley armored vehicles in their area. The explosion destroyed one Humvee in the column, killing two US troops and wounding tow more of them.

Resistance bomb rips through puppet “National Guard” column in al-Latifiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of puppet “Iraqi National Guard” troops in al-Latifiyah, south of Baghdad.

The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to the Muwaylihah area south of the city blew up by a passing puppet “National Guard” patrol, destroying one vehicle in the column and killing four puppet “National Guards.”
