Al-Fallujah.
Resistance RPG7 rocket blasts US troop transport vehicle in al-Fallujah Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 8:20pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had fired an RPG7 rocket-propelled grenade at a US military column near the al-Hadrah al-Muhammadiyah Mosque in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance attacked the column of several US military vehicles at 6:30pm Saturday evening local time. The rocket scored a direct hit on a Zeal personnel carrier that was in the column, setting it ablaze. Due to the difficulty of accessing the area after the attack, the correspondent was unable to provide any details on the nature or extent of casualties.
Resistance bombards US base east of al-Fallujah Saturday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 7:40pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces had mounted a rocket barrage on the US military base to the east of al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that six violent explosions shook the American-occupied base. Air raid warning sirens wailed insid the camp. Residents of the eastern al-Fallujah neighborhood of al-‘Askari could hear the explosions that rocked the camp some distance away. Witnesses said thet saw clouds of smoke billowing up over the American-occupied facility just after the attack.

In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, southwest of the city of al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying tha the bomb went off beside a patrol of several American Humvees, totally destroying one of them and killing three US troops. A fourth American soldier was severely injured in the blast as well.
Afterwards, US forces opened fire indiscriminately around the area, killing one local civilian and wounding two more of them.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed one US soldier and wounded a second in the city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in the as-Sufiyah area of the city as saying that a Resistance sharpshooter shot two US troops who were part of a foot patrol on the main road near the western entrance to the city. One of the US soldiers was killed.
After the attack, American troops surrounded the area and launched raids and searches of houses looking for the Resistance fighter. Witnesses said that the Americans failed to find any sign of the sharpshooter.

Car bomb on north side of ‘Anah reportedly kills three US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road leading to the highway north of the city of ‘Anah in western Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the road near the northern entrance to ‘Anah blew up by a passing American column. The explosion disabled one US vehicle, killing three American troops and wounding four more of them.
Al-Hadithah.
US forces seal off, impose curfew on al-Hadithah, begin raids, arrests.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US and Iraqi puppet troops imposed a curfew in the city of al-Hadithah beginning early in the hours of dawn Saturday.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the city as saying that the US and Iraqi puppet forces blocked all the city’s entrances and exits at 5am local time Saturday and imposed a curfew. They then began house-to-house raids, searches, and arrests. The campaign was still under way when the correspondent filed this report.
Baghdad.
Resistance fighters attack puppet army patrol in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district.
In a dispatch posted at 7pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked an Iraqi puppet army patrol in northern Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as aying that the attack began when a mortar shell landed near the headquarters of the pro-American “National Accord Party” in al-A‘zamiyah. After that, Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons assaulted an Iraqi puppet army patrol near the stricken headquarters. Patrol vehicles were damaged and two Iraqi puppet army soldiers were killed and three more of them wounded in the attack.
Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp in at-Taji.
In a dispatch posted at 2:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar rounds into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp located on a branch of the Tigris River west of the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji.
The at-Taji correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that three 82mm mortar rounds blasted into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp sending pu plumes of smoke.

Two US troops reported wounded in bombing near al-Ishaqi.
In a dispatch posted at 1pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the al-Ishaqi area north of Baghdad on the main road to Samarra’.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Ishaqi as saying that the bomb disabled an American personnel carrier, wounding two US soldiers who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet army column north of Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column on the main road north of Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Samarra’ who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up by a passing Iraqi puppet army column, disabling one puppet army vehicle and killing two puppet soldiers. A third Iraqi puppet army soldier was wounded in the attack.

Resistance bomb south of al-Yusufiyah leaves US soldier reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the highway in the area of ar-Rashid south of al-Yusufiyah.
The al-Yusufiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway in the Kilometer 37 area blew up as an American column was driving by. The explosion disabled an American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding three other American troops, all of whom were aboard the vehicle.

Resistance fires Katyusha rocket into US headquarters in al-Musayyib.
In a dispatch posted at 2:15pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US-occupied Jiblah military base in the Jiblah area of the city of al-Musayyib, south of Baghdad on Saturday.
The al-Musayyib correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the US headquarters in the Jiblah base was hit by a medium-range Katyusha rocket on Saturday morning. After the rocket hit, a violent explosion rocked the American-occupied facility.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet base in al-‘Azim.
In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired eight mortar rounds into the joint headquarters of US and Iraqi puppet army forces in the al-‘Azim area northeast of Baghdad.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the joint headquarters in al-‘Azim came under a violent bombardment when eight mortar shells blasted into the facility from different directions. The barrage set off violent explosions and sent smoke billowing into the sky from within the compound.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet army troops on road to al-Hawijah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road to al-Hawijah southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the city puppet police as saying that the bomb disabled one troop transport vehicle, killing four Iraqi puppet army soldiers and wounding three more of them.
Al-Basrah Province.

Spokesman for Iraqi puppet army in al-Basrah Province assassinated Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that armed men shot and killed the official spokesman for the Iraqi puppet army in the southern city of al-Basrah on Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that a group of armed men attacked the car in which Captain Akram al-‘Abbasi, the spokesman for the puppet army in al-Basrah Province was riding near the local puppet administration buildings in the middle of the city Saturday morning. Al-‘Abbasi was on his way to work when the attack took place. He died instantly.
