Al-Anbar Province.

Rawah.

One US soldier reported killed three more wounded in Resistance bombing in Rawah.

In a dispatch posted at 7pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the western Iraqi town of ar-Rawah on the highway that goes to al-Hadithah.

The Rawah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway near the eastern entrance to Rawah blew up as a US column was driving past. The explosion disabled a Bradley armored vehicle and killed one US soldier and wounded three more of them.

Al-Khalidiyah.

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier in al-Khalidiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:30pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot and killed a US soldier in the middle of the town of al-Khalidiyah, west of Baghdad.

The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a US soldier who was on observation duty at a checkpoint near the eastern entrance to the city was struck in the head and killed instantly by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance refutes puppet regime claims of divisions within Resistance ranks.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance organizations in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad have announced that contrary to claims circulated by the US-installed puppet regime and by some media there are no differences among them an there has been no agreement by Resistance groups and tribal leaders to expel the al-Qa‘idah Consultative Council of the Mujahideen organization. Those stories, the Resistance groups declared “are pure lies.”

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance groups had distributed leaflets in some mosques in the city refuting claims by a puppet regime spokesman that were broadcast by puppet media and the stooges of the occupation. The leaflets denied that any agreement had been signed by some Resistance groups with tribal leaders on the expulsion of the Mujahideen Council.

The leaflets carried the signatures of the Islamic Army in Iraq, the Army of the Mujahideen in Iraq, and the 1920 Revolution Brigades Resistance group.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance mounts attack on puppet “National Guard” patrol in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out a two-stage attack on a puppet “Iraqi National Guard” patrol on the new road near the ‘Abd ar-Razzaq fuel station in al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah said that the attack began when a bomb that had been planted by the side of the new road blew up as the puppet “National Guard” patrol was driving past.

The blast disabled one “Guard” vehicle. Then Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and rocket launchers attacked the patrol, killing four puppet “National Guards” and wounding three more of them.

Al-Habbaniyah.

Resistance pounds US airbase in al-Habbaniyah shortly after midnight Monday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired 12 mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in the as-Saqr Airbase that they set up in al-Habbaniyah 69km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of he al-Madani neighborhood which is located near the US-occupied base as saying that at about 1am local time 12 mortar rounds blasted into the base, setting off explosions and sending plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.

Afterwards, US helicopters could be seen hovering at low altitudes over the facility and adjacent areas.

Baghdad.

Resistance bombards US “Green Zone” Monday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 7:55pm Mecca time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier four Iraqi Resistance mortar rounds had blasted into the district of Baghdad where the Republican Palace is located ﾐ what the American occupation forces refer to as “the Green Zone” where they have their heavily-guarded headquarters and embassies.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that they could hear four explosions shake the “Green Zone” following the mortar barrage.

The correspondent noted that there were ambulances and fire trucks from the nearby as-Salihiyah district heading to the main gate in the Karradat Maryam area at the north end of the Zone. US forces completely sealed the main street and the al-Jumhuriyah Bridge after the attack and five helicopters were seen hovering over the Zone.

Resistance bomb northwest of Baghdad leaves three US troops reported dead.

In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on a farm road west of the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji.

The at-Taji correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road west of the town blew up as an American patrol drove past. The explosion completely destroyed one US armored vehicle, killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters in northeast Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar barrage into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in the as-Salikh area of northeastern Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of as-Salikh as saying that the barrage sent smoke billowing up from all parts of the headquarters. US rescue helicopters were seen flying into the area and landing.

Bodies of three more Sunni Iraqi youths found murdered, dumped at water treatment plant, bringing total number of Sunni victims dumped there to 230.

In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Mecca time midday Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet police discovered the bodies of three Sunni Iraqis dumped at the water purification plant in south Baghdad’s ar-Rustamiyah district on Monday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police who asked not to be identified as saying that the three bodies were bound and blindfolded and had been shot at close range.

It has become pretty much a daily occurrence for young Sunni Iraqis to be arrested by the US-installed security forces, most of whom belong to Shi‘i sectarian militias. Their bodies are usually found several days later, having been bound, blindfolded, tortured, and then shot to death. Sunnis have been kidnapped or “arrested” from many areas throughout Baghdad, as well as other cities, by members of the puppet “Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” and by other puppet government forces.

The water treatment plant in ar-Rustamiyah is a popular place for dumping the bodies of Sunni victims. So far about 230 bodies of murdered Sunni youths have been recovered from there. The US-installed regime has, as would be expected, taken no action to curb the behavior of its “security agencies.”

Mosul.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a US patrol on the main road in the al-Barid neighborhood in the middle of Mosul.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Barid as saying that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms and pipe rockets attacked a US patrol, destroying one Humvee and killing two US soldiers and wounding two more of them.

Maysan Province.

Al-Majar.

Resistance fighters assassinate puppet intelligence officer south of al-‘Amarah.

In a dispatch posted at 6pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked an officer in the First Battalion of the Iraqi puppet army in al-Majar, some 30km south of al-‘Amarah.

The al-‘Amarah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Majar who witnessed the attack as saying that Resistance fighters attacked Captain ‘Ammar Farhan, an intelligence officer in the First Battalion in the Iraqi puppet army on the main road in the city, killing him and wounding his driver.

Al-Basrah Province.

Resistance bombards British military headquarters in hotel in al-Basrah.

In a dispatch posted at 5:55pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces uleashed a mortar bombardment on the headquarters of British occupation troops in the Shatt al-‘Arab Hotel in the middle of the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah.

The al-Basrah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police as saying that the Resistance shells scored direct hits on the British headquarters.

Danish patrol comes under fire Sunday afternoon.

The Danish News Agency announced on Monday that “angry Iraqis” had opened fire on a Danish occupation troop patrol in southern Iraq on Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported. The Danish occupation troops responded with warning shots and then withdrew from the scene.

According to the Danish press, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam the Danish military claimed that there were no casualties in the attack, a Resistance act that has been attributed to anger over caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad that were published by the Danish media.

All occupation troops are targets of the Iraqi Resistance and Denmark, a NATO satellite of the US, maintains a contingent of 530 men supporting the US occupation of Iraq, of them 500 are based in al-Basrah.
