Al-Anbar Province.

Al-Fallujah.

Iraqi Resistance forces bombard US-Iraqi puppet army joint camp in al-Fallujah at 8pm local time Saturday night.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10pm Mecca time, Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six Katyusha rockets into a joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp at 8pm local time Saturday night, setting off explosions within the compound.

Resistance bomb blasts US foot patrol in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah early Saturday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10pm Mecca time, Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a foot patrol of about 15 US troops in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah at 2pm local time Saturday afternoon.

The ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb injured some members of the patrol but was unable to determine the exact nature or extent of the injuries or whether any of the Americans had been killed.

After the explosion, US troops closed the road for nearly two hours, preventing anyone from approaching.

Resistance battles US troops in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah early Saturday morning leaving at least two US troops dead.

Fierce combat took place between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US occupation troops on a road near ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, south of the city of al-Fallujah on Saturday morning. Quds Press reported local witnesses as saying that Resistance fighters ambushed a US patrol early on Saturday morning, sparking a half-hour firefight. In the course of the battle, one American Humvee was destroyed and two US troops were killed. A third American soldier was wounded by Resistance gunfire, Quds Press quoted witnesses as saying.

The Americans then had to call in reinforcements, Quds Press reported, and American Helicopters were observed flying in over the area. One US helicopter landed to evacuate the dead and wounded.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons had attacked a US military patrol sparking a battle that lasted about one hour. In the course of the fighting, one US Humvee was disabled and three American troops were killed and two more wounded. The US side had to call in a helicopter gun ship in order to free themselves from the Resistance attack Mafkarat al-Islam reported.

Resistance battles US, Iraqi puppet troops in al-Andalus neighborhood of al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:55pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting broke out in the al-Andalus neighborhood of al-Fallujah between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US and Iraqi puppet troops.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the combat began when Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked an Iraqi puppet army foot patrol. US troops entered the battle afterwards. The witnesses reported that two Iraqi puppet troops were killed in the fighting and three more of them wounded. Two American troops were also either killed or wounded, the witnesses reported.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at12:35pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol on 40 Street in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb damaged a patrol vehicle and killed one puppet policeman and wounded a second. After the blast Resistance fighters opened fire on the puppet police and a gunbattle ensued but no further casualties were reported on either side.

Al-Habbaniyah.

In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters in the city of al-Habbaniyah west of al-Fallujah

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage set off explosions inside the American-occupied compound and sent plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.

Baghdad.

Eleven US troops reported killed in Resistance ambush in ‘Arab Jabbur.

In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time, Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a US column on the farm road in the ‘Arab Jabbur area south of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ‘Arab Jabbur as saying that the attack began with five bombs exploding by the column of several armor-plated vehicles, giant Abrams tanks, and armored vehicles. After the explosions, Resistance fighters opened fire with medium weapons and pipe rockets.

The attack destroyed three armor plated vehicles, two armored vehicles and one Abrams tank destroyed and 11 US troops killed. Another 12 American soldiers were wounded.

Us troops who had not been able to gain control of the situation then began to use warplanes that bombarded the area for an hour in order to facilitate the escape of the rest of the American column.

Denmark extends tour of duty of Danish occupation troops until July.

The Danish parliament voted to prolong the stay of 530 Danish occupation troops in Iraq until 1 July, Agence France Presse (AFP) reported in a dispatch published in the United Arab Emirates newspaper al-Bayan on Saturday.

The Danish troops are to be based in the city of al-Basrah in February under British command. Both major opposition parties in the Danish parliament the Democratic Socialist and Radical parties ﾐ voted for the extension of the troops tour of duty once again, but warned that they would not approve any more extensions,

Al-Mundhiriyah.

Resistance bombards US camp in al-Mundhiriyah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time, Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds into a US military camp in the al-Mundhiriyah area near the Iranian border in eastern Iraq at 7am local time Saturday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that they saw plumes of smoke rising over the camp. An American helicopter was observed landing in the camp some 15 minutes after the barrage .

At-Ta’mim Province.

Kirkuk.

Resistance ambushes fuel convoy supplying puppet Iraqi army bases, blowing up 20 tanker trucks.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time, Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked convoy of tankers bringing fuel to Iraqi puppet army bases in the ad-Duz area in the middle of Kirkuk.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ad-Duz as saying that the Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the column setting 20 loaded fuel tankers ablaze and killing 20 drivers who had been working for the occupation forces.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet Iraqi army troops.

In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time, Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in the al-Bawwari neighborhood in the middle of Tall ‘Afar, in northwest Iraq.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Bawwari neighborhood as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road there blew up by an Iraqi puppet army patrol, disabling one patrol pickup and killing two Iraqi puppet troops and wounding two more of them.

Mosul.

Resistance forces ambush puppet police patrol in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 5:15pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked a puppet police patrol in the al-Muthanna neighborhood of western Mosul.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fighters were equipped with light and medium arms and that their attack inflicted severe damage on the patrol vehicles. Two puppet policemen were killed and four more of them wounded in the Resistance ambush.

Resistance car bomb attack reportedly kills two US troops in Mosul on Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time, Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car at a US military camp in the al-Yarmuk neighborhood of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Friday.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the car bomber detonated his vehicle in the US camp, killing two American soldiers and wounding two more of them. The witnesses said that the blast also destroyed large parts of the American camp.
