Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier in al-Fallujah Tuesday evening.
In a dispatch posted at 7pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter had shot and killed a US soldier in the city of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from the scene of the attack that eyewitnesses were saying that the American soldier had been taking part in a patrol when he was struck by a bullet in the head, killing him instantly on al-Kamaliyat Street in front of a shop for ladies’ Islamic clothing in the middle of al-Fallujah.
After the attack, US occupation troops carried out a wave of searches and raids in the area, but as of the time of reporting had found no “suspect” to arrest.

In a dispatch posted at 1:15pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces had posted a reward of US$100,000 for information on the al-Fallujah Sniper ﾐ an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter who has been picking off American and Iraqi puppet soldiers while eluding capture for weeks.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that US military vehicles with loudspeakers mounted on them cruised about al-Fallujah neighborhoods demanding that they provide information on the sniper and promising any Iraqi who comes to the US occupation headquarters in al-Fallujah with any information, however slight, about the Sniper would be given a reward of up to US$100,000.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent noted that more than 15 US soldiers had been shot and killed in the last few days by the al-Fallujah Sniper. American forces have set traps, ambushes, put up checkpoints, and raided homes trying to catch the Sniper, but all to no avail.
Quds Press reported that the al-Fallujah Sniper had frustrated all US efforts to capture him, efforts which have been extensive in the last two days. Several neighborhoods have been sealed off and searched. Local men who have been arrested in the American sweeps and then released said that the US troops interrogated them about the Sniper, looking for any indication that they had some knowledge of the Sniper’s activities.
Some of those who had been released said that Iraqi puppet soldiers had beaten them to try to get them to provide information on the Sniper, Quds Press reported.
Sharp-shooter attacks on US and Iraqi puppet troops have become a nearly daily occurrence in al-Fallujah, Quds Press noted.
Recently the Army of the Mujahideen Resistance organization issued a videotape showing pictures of the shootings and referring to 10 US troops who had been killed in the sharpshooter attacks.
Monday night bomb in al-Fallujah wounds three US troops.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road opposite the Industrial Zone in the eastern part of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad on Monday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the city as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road exploded by a passing US military column. The blast damaged an American personnel carrier and wounded three US troops who were aboard it, one of them seriously.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Resistance bomb in al-Khalidiyah reportedly kills US soldier.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road from al-Khalidiyah east towards al-Fallujah.
The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of as-Siddiqiyah in the east of the city as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to al-Fallujah went off as a US column was driving past. The explosion disabled an American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding three more of the troops who were aboard the vehicle.

Resistance car bomb rips through US column in al-Qa’im.
In a dispatch posted at 5:35pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb that had been parked by the side of the Old al-Qa’im Road in al-Qa’im in western Iraq near the Syrian border, had blown up a short while earlier by a passing column of US troops.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that they saw flames burning in one of the US vehicles but did not have information on the nature or extent of US casualties.
Ar-Ramadi.
US forces seal off section of ar-Ramadi midday Tuesday. American helicopter fires rocket into neighborhood.
In a bulletin posted at 12:20pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces a short while earlier had surrounded the al-Bu Jabir area northeast of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad, imposing a curfew and launching a campaign of house-to-house raids on every home in the area.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 100 American military vehicles with helicopters providing air cover were at the time of reporting surrounding al-Bu Jabir, making it impossible for the correspondent to enter the area to learn details of developments there.
Residents of the al-Mal‘ab (Playing Field) area near al-Bu Jabir told the correspondent that a short while earlier a US helicopter had fired a rocket into the area. The reasons for the rocket attack and the target hit were not immediately known.

Resistance assassinates Badr Brigade commander, aide to head of SCIRI.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed a commander in the Badr Brigades organization in the al-Ghazaliyah area of western Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns attacked as-Sayyid Husayn Ahmad, an aide to ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hakim, the head of the pro-American Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) and commander of the Badr Brigades organization. The Resistance fighters withdrew from the scene without having suffered any losses after carrying out the attack.
Resistance bomb blasts US column in ar-Ridwaniyah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol on the road between ar-Ridwaniyah in southwestern Baghdad and Abu Ghurayb, some 30km west of the occupied Iraqi capital.
The ar-Ridwaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as sayig that the bomb exploded by a column of several American Humvees, disabling one of tem and wounding four US troops who were aboard it. Two of the Americans were said to have suffered severe injuries.
Iraqi Resistance forces mount attacks on puppet security forces in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:30pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked an officer in the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (al-Maghawir)” in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ad-Durah who witnessed the attack as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the officer as he was on his way to work Tuesday morning. The Resistance fighters killed the puppet officer and then left the scene having suffered no casualties on their side.
Resistance fighters armed with machine guns also attacked a puppet police patrol in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of ad-Durah, killing two puppet policemen and wounding a third.
Massive Iraqi Resistance bomb kills 19 puppet “National Guards” in southern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-yield Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of Iraqi puppet “National Guards” on the main road in the al-Wahdah neighborhood in the south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the massive explosion totally destroyed two troop transport vehicles, killing 19 puppet “National Guards” and wounding five more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired seven mortar rounds at the US military headquarers located in the south of the city of Balad, north of Baghdad.
The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that four of the mortar shells blasted into the headquarters while the other three struck the industrial zone of the city, damaging industrial enterprises and cars that were parked there. No information on casualties within the American-occupied compound was available.
At-Tarimiyah.
Four puppet “National Guards” abducted in at-Tarimiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that four Iraqi puppet National Guards had been abducted from the main road in the city of at-Tarimiyah, north of Baghdad on Monday night.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported sources in the Iraqi puppet military as saying that “unknown armed men” had abducted the four and then released one of them some time later. No Resistance organization has announced that it had a role in the abduction, but the al-Mushahadah-at-Tarimiyah area is extremely tense after US forces sealed off the region and imposed a curfew there early Tuesday morning.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing of US patrol in al-Mushahadah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the al-Makarim neighborhood in the middle of al-Mushahada, north of Baghdad.
The al-Mushahadah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in al-Makarim blew up as reinforced American patrols were going by, policing the curfew that had been imposed on the city early in the morning. The explosion disabled one American tank, killing two US troops and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that joint US and Iraqi puppet forces imposed a curfew on the city of al-Mushahadah, north of Baghdad from the first hours of Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Mushahadah as saying that US occupation troops backed up by Iraqi puppet forces with helicopters and military vehicles as well sealed off the main roads to the city. The troops also closed the entrances and exits from the city. A curfew was proclaimed and the residents of al-Mushahadah were prohibited from leaving their houses. School was cancelled and government offices closed. The Americans and the Iraqi puppet army troops announced that they would shoot any person who violates the curfew.
On Monday a US helicopter was shot down, killing its two-man crew in al-Mushahadah.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:01pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired eight mortar rounds into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters in the city of al-Yusufiyah, southwest of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Yusufiyah as saying that the joint headquarters was struck by eight mortar rounds fired from two different directions. The barrage produced explosions and plumes of smoke that rose over the compound. US helicopters were observed prowling the sky in the area at a low altitude.
Al-Latifiyah.
Two US troops reported killed in bombing south of al-Latifiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded on a farm road south of al-Latifiyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Latifiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that the bomb that had been planted by the side of the farm road that leads to the center of the city blew up by a passing US column, disabling one Humvee and killing two American soldiers and wounding two more of them.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet police patrol in Shahraban.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol on the main road in the Shahraban (al-Miqdadiyah) area northeast of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Shahraban as saying that a the bomb disabled one patrol vehicle, killing three puppet policemen and wounding a fourth.
Al-Jalawla’.
Two Resistance bomb kill five Iraqi puppet soldiers in al-Jalawla’.
In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs had exploded by Iraqi puppet troops in the al-Jalawla’ area, northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Jalawla’ as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road in the city exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column, destroying one troop transport vehicle and killing four Iraqi puppet troops and wounding three more of them.
The second Resistance bomb that had been planted by the road to the center of the town blew up as an Iraqi puppet army column was driving past, damaging one of the vehicles in the column and killing one Iraqi puppet soldier and wounding four more of them, one of them seriously.

Resistance bombs blast puppet police in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs had exploded on Tuesday by two patrols of Iraqi puppet police in the middle of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the Azadi area in the center of the city as saying that two bombs had exploded one after the other as two puppet police patrols were driving past. The explosions set fire to one of the patrol vehicles and damaged a second. One puppet policeman was killed and three more of them wounded.

US soldier reported killed when Resistance bomb destroys American mine sweeper in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road in the south of the city of Mosul.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb destroyed an American mine sweeper that was a part of a column driving down the road. One American soldier who was aboard the mine sweeper was killed.

High-explosive bomb blasts US troops north of Karbala’ Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column some 5km outside of Karbala’, killing or wounding a number of US troops.
The Karbala’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source with the rank of First Lieutenant in the Iraqi puppet army said that a high-yield bomb, the first of its type to show up in a month or more, blew up north of Karbala’ near the tomb of the early Muslim figure al-Jalil ‘Abdallah ibn Ja‘far at-Tayyar at 2:15pm local time on Tuesday.
The source said that the explosion had killed or wounded a number of US troops. Although the source would not provide more precise information on casualties, he confirmed that the explosion had destroyed a US vehicle. After the bombing, US troops launched a campaign of arrests, exclusively among Sunni residents of the area.

Iran helping to steal Iraqi oil, puppet governor of al-Basrah charges following clash in Arabian Gulf that left one Iraqi dead, nine taken prisoner by Iran.
The puppet governor of the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah, Muhammad al-Wa’ili, has accused Iran of helping to smuggle Iraqi oil out of the country and of repeated attacks on US-installed Iraqi puppet border guards.
The puppet official made the accusation after Iranian coastal border guards killed an Iraqi puppet coast guardsman and kidnapped nine more of them in the course of a confrontation which occurred when a force of Iraqi puppet coastal border guards pursued a ship that was smuggling Iraqi oil out of the country.
According to al-Jazeera satellite TV as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, al-Wa’ili said that a captain of Iranian nationality who was aboard the ship which was registered as that of a foreign state, observed Iraqi vessels approaching his ship. The captain contacted the Iranian coastal border guards for help. The Iranian coast guard vessels arrived, took the ship and kidnapped the Iraqi puppet coastguardsmen.
Al-Wa’ili said that this was not the first time in which Iranian forces have attacked Iraqi coast guards, noting that he had informed the American-installed regime in Baghdad about Iranian border violations on more than one occasion but got no response.
The puppet “Prime Minister” of Iraq, Ibrahim al-Ja‘fari, and most top officials in his administration are drawn from the pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian Da‘wah Party or the pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) who lived for many years in Iran as they operated against the Iraqi government that was led by the Arab Baath Socialist Party under the leadership of President Saddam Hussein. The United States called in the aid of those parties, and their militias ﾐ such as the 30,000-man Badr Brigades who were armed and trained by Iran ﾐ to help out in the American invasion and occupation of Iraq in 2003. Since then they have formed the backbone of Iraqi puppet “security services” in occupied Iraq.
Puppet governor al-Wa’ili announced that Iran was still holding two Iraqi patrol boats in the waters off ‘Abadan.
