Resistance bombards US headquarters in eastern al-Fallujah with heavy mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the US occupation headquarters located east of the city of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the American camp took direct hits from the shells that sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
Al-Khalidiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces had driven the populations out of two located west of the town of al-Khalidiyah, which is west of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the villages of as-Siddiqiyah, al-Jazirah, and al-Bu Hazim as saying that US occupation troops threw the families out of their homes and put them in camps out in the open desert. At the present time in winter, which was chosen by the Americans for the move, the weather outside is fiercely and bitingly cold, particularly at night. The correspondent reported that in all some 600 local people had been driven out of their homes in the villages and were now living in the tents.
The Americans bulldozed dozens of groves and farm fields in the villages, and turned the homes and schools in the villages into billets and military camps for themselves, in a move reminiscent of the practices followed by the Zionist occupation in Palestine.

Resistance pounds puppet “Shock Troop” checkpoint in ad-Durah with mortars.
In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired a barrage of 82mm mortar rounds into a checkpoint manned by puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Durah as saying that two “Shock Troop” vehicles at the chckpoint were burned as a result of the barrage, which also killed four “Shock Troops and wounding five more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road went off as a patrol of several Humvees was passing by. The blast totally destroyed one of the vehicles, killing two US troops and wounding a third.
Three car bombs blast Iraqi puppet security forces in Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three Iraqi Resistance car bombs had exploded nearly simultaneously by Iraqi puppet army targets in various parts of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a car packed with explosives that had been parked by the side of the main road near the central markets in al-Karradah blew up as a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” was passing by. The blast killed two puppet “Shock Troops” and wounded four more of them.
In a second car bombing an explosives-packed car that was parked on al-Maghrib Stret in the al-Waziriyah area of the occupied Iraqi capital blew up as a patrol of Iraqi puppet police was driving past. The explosion killed one puppet policeman and wounded three more.
The third blast took place when a car bomb parked near the Ministry of Higher Edcuation and Scientific Research in the middle of Baghdad exploded by a puppet police patrol that was going past. That explosion killed three puppet policemen and wounded two more of them.
Puppet “Shock Troops” carry out mass arrest of 35 residents of western Baghdad’s al-Furat neighborhood.
In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” had carried out a campaign of raids and arrests in western Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Furat neighborhood who witnessed the mass arrests as saying that the puppet “Shock Troops” had closed the main roads in the neighborhood and swept through arresting about 35 local residents, ranging in age from 15 to 45. The prisoners were all led off to unknown destinations and as of the time of reporting, no explanation for the arrests had been made.
Resistance car bomb blasts puppet police in Baghdad’s al-Karradah.
In a bulletin posted at 10:55am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the al-Karradah area of central Baghdad a short while earlier.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Karradah who witnessed the attack as saying that an explosives-packed car that had been parked by the side of the road blew up as a puppet police patrol was passing by. The blast set one of the patrol cars on fire, killing three puppet policemen and wounding two more. One civilian was also killed in the explosion, the correspondent reported.
Resistance car bomber blasts puppet police patrol in northern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-laden car into an Iraqi puppet patrol on the main road in the north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the car bomber had detonated his payload in the middle of the puppet police patrol, setting two patrol vehicles on fire and killing four puppet policemen and wounding six more of them.
Resistance blasts US base at Saddam International Airport Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired powerful medium-range Tariq rockets and four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the main US base set up at Saddam International Airport west of Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eye witnesses who live in ar-Ridwaniyah near the airport as saying that the bombardment sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky from inside the US-occupied compound.

Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier on highway near al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the highway south of al-Yusufiyah, which is located to the south of Baghdad.
The al-Yusufiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway leading to the southern provinces blew up as a US column was driving past, disabling an American transport vehicle and killing one American soldier and wounding a second.

Resistance fighters assault puppet police checkpoint in Ba‘qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had assaulted an Iraqi puppet army checkpoint south of Ba‘qubah.
The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets had attacked a check point sparking a battle that lasted for a full hour and left three Iraqi puppet troops dead and six more of them wounded. Four Resistance fighters were also killed and three others wounded, the puppet police source said.
Resistance bombards US base in Ba‘qubah Monday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the main US base in Ba‘qubah on Monday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Ba‘qubah residents as saying that the US base in the city took direct hits from four heavy 120mm mortar rounds that sent plumes of smoke rising inside the US-occupied compound.

In a dispatch posted at 6pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the road from Samarra’ to ad-Dulu‘iyah north of Baghdad.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road south of the city had blown up as a US column was driving past it. The explosion disabled one American Humvee, wounding four US troops aboard it, one of them seriously.

In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US column on the road to the al-Asalah area to the east of Bayji.
The Bayji correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to the al-Asalah area blew up as a US column was passing by. The explosion disabled one Humvee, killing or wounding the members of its four-man crew.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet police patrol in Kirkuk’s Azadi area.
In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of Iraqi puppet police on the main road in the Azadi area in the middle of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted under a pile of garbage blew up as the puppet police patrol was passing by. The explosion wounded three puppet policemen, one of them seriously.
Resistance car bomb blasts Peshmergah patrol in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded by a column of Kurdish separatist pro-American Peshmergah militiamen on the road from Kirkuk south towards Baghdad.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the road to Baghdad blew up as a column of Peshmergah gunmen was passing by. The explosion destroyed one Peshmergah vehicle, killing three Peshmergah militiamen and wounding four more of them.
Resistance assassinates puppet police colonel in Kirkuk.
In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons ambushed the car carrying a puppet police colonel in the middle of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that Colonel “Hadi” of the puppet police in Kirkuk had been killed in the attack, as had three of his bodyguards. One of the Resistance fighters was wounded in the attack but managed to withdraw afterwards along with the other Resistance attackers.

Two US troops reported killed in roadside bombing in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column in Mosul on the main road to Baghdad.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to Baghdad blew up as a column of several armored vehicles and personnel carriers was driving past. The explosion disabled one Bradley armored vehicle, killing two US soldiers and wounding two more.
