在日米軍兵士の犯罪抑制策として米兵と家族の待遇をさらに改善へ

米軍の準機関紙「Ｓｔａｒｓ　ａｎｄ　Ｓｔｒｉｐｅｓ」によると、在日米軍兵士の犯罪抑制策（欲求不満のガス抜き）として米兵とその家族の待遇を改善することを日本政府に強く要請するとのこと。

例えば、日本政府が日本航空と話をつけて、兵士の誕生日の前後には、格安運賃で息抜きのための沖縄旅行をできるようにする、などの提案。
